Bro thank you for recording this. You have directional microphone on your camera. Ty for keeping it pointed forward. You should get a non directional microphone.
We were saying the same exact thing! WTF? They could have at least raised the stage a few feet so the thousands on the floor could actually see something?
I have a live DVD of Van Halen playing in Landsdown, Maryland. David Lee Roth just keeps calling it Washington-Baltimore. "Goooood evening Washington-Baltimore". Its pretty hilarious because he never shortens it or says Landsdown once.
They chose to bangers to come out with for sure. I think they should have showed the crowd more with white lights along with that red would have been better. But the energy is amazing! We loved the show. Sat in 108
Hell yea. They usually do 2plus hours, I was at the Aug 4th show, as we walked up to Gilette the sky opened and starrted pouring like a MOFO. We just walked to the gate from the car it was like 12 min walk. Get to the gate and they said "gates closed due to lightening for 30 mins go back to your car or find shelter" I was w my 20 and 22 y.o. sons. I was like dude the stadium is 40 feet away, WHY would I walk back. So I just stood nearby as so many left, 2 mins later someone said, come on in. We walked up to scan tickets, issue was rain was pouring off the little overhang and right onto my phone which was soaked already, I spent 2 mins trying to unlock my phone. The dude said how many? I said me and my 2 boys, he said jump over. LoL we got in it was 6pm sat in an overhang area on bottom row. Our seats were 4th row up from the floor. Openers didnt play because lightening. FFDP did play for 45 mins or so but went on at 8 insead of 715 or so. Metallica came on at 915. A lady I donated 2 tix to for Boston calling in 23 as I had extra so I posted on FB under the Metallica page saying I had 2 extra tix to donate for the right person tell me why it should be you. She said her husband had ended his life a year earlier and her 15yo son was lost and she wanted to take him as he had a drum set but never been to a show. I said ok they are yours. This was Friday the show was Sunday. She lived in Pitsfield area I live in Amherst Ma she drove out w/ her son and we all went. Me and my 2 boys for their first show, my 12th, my brother and I gave 4 total tix away. Anywho she was at this show too and met up w/ us. The kid behind me was 19 and had an empty seat I asked is that taken, he said no my cousin didnt show. So my friend who was in the highest section sat next to him. I told them when the lights go down during ecstacy of gold, right as Metallica starts playing we all are going to get up and walk down the 4 steps and onto the floor, I said hold your hand up and walk behind me like you are supposed to be there. Boom stood up they followed and we got within 10 people from the stage. The 19 yo kid we met had never been to a concert and his parents were in another section higher up. He loved One and Enter Sandman. they played both as the last 2 songs. He said my parents are peeved Im down here and they are stuck up there. I said roll w/ me. I always go right to the front row, but Im a little older now and have more people in tow. being 6 4 sadly 320 since covid weight got put on, but its EZ toget to the front but where we were was awesome we got picks and almost a stick from Lars. Any who sorry long story but LOVE Metallica and we are going to Buffalo in April....
Now that is a story! I was happy I went the other night and didn’t have to deal with all that weather! You had a lot of people with you that won’t forget that night. Well done sir🤘
I was supposed to bring my girlfriend and my dad to this show but she got sick so I brought my mother and her seat broke (we were in the 300’s) and we got sent to 126 which was sick
Great show! The audio doesn’t do it justice. It was so loud! Loved it. Wished they played a little longer but I’m greedy.

my theory is theyre too bright and would mess with all the lights and pyro
Foxboro, James. It’s Foxboro. When you’re playing at TD Garden, it’s Boston. 😉
That annoyed us too🤣
