I'm sure you're sick of watching Scooby Doo media now but I STRONGLY recommend Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated! Outside of the weird relationship of Velma and Shaggy that only exists for like halfway through season 1, it's an all around incredibly enjoyable show. It has excellent one off mysteries as well as a really intriguing overall mystery! It's also one of the only kids cartoons I see intentionally have a pretty dark ending for the series.
Also not to defend shows that do not have canon LGBT representation but I was watching it while it was airing and honestly I really commend them for "getting away" with what they could on that front. Velma and Hot Dog Water are basically more lesbian than any cartoon airing at that time.
even as someone who grew up on where are you and what’s new, i have to say that mystery inc was my favorite version. the darker tone and more serialized storylines made it more interesting to me.
yes! the finale was even a little unsettling for me, and i’m older than the target demographic haha. velma and shaggy weren’t good together, but it was interesting to see the writers show different group dynamics, also with more depth in daphne and fred’s relationship. and yeah, not to blame it on the time, but LGBT representation was hard to get by with at the time. it felt like scooby doo, but it didn’t follow the exact same formula in each episode. the characters have more personal exploration and it’s really interesting to watch! would recommend!

On the subject of Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated: keep in mind that it was 2013, Rebecca Sugar had to risk her entire career for a canon lesbian couple, Adventure Time wasn't allowed to canonize Marceline and Princess Bubblegum, and having gay characters was harder in general Also, was incredibly obvious and intentional in the show itself that Velma was meant to be a lesbian. Think that episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog where courage helps two female "best friends" escape an abusive man so they can be together I think that we should acknowledge the many times people have tried to give us representation and weren't allowed to, but did their best anyway. They were important milestones to having representation today
@@zoeelizabweth I've heard that before, something about James Gunn intending for the story to be rated R originally I want to exist in a world where both the rated R version and this one exist together
And even when Rebecca did go full out with a lesbian wedding, her show got cancelled by Cartoon Network for that. Even Adventure Time was only able to have Marceline and Princess Bubblegum kiss in their last episode. Keep in mind, both of these happened as recently as 2018, and they still came with consequences.
I’m honestly loving it’s evolution as a genre on this platform. It’s like porn but specifically for the feeling of nostalgic catharsis intertwined with the gratification of hyper fixation.
In terms of movies, you are indeed correct. But if we are talking about the entire franchise I must insist that Mystery Incorporated is the best thing produced.
Scooby doo on Zombie Island punched me in the face, knocked two of my teeth out, stole my lunch money, and gave me nightmares and I thanked it for doing so. It's literally the best All-ages Halloween movie, nothing else even comes close.
Us kids on the cusp of late 90s and early 2000s were so lucky, I'm so glad I grew up in that era. Zombie Island was the best, and always will be the best Scooby Doo film. Yes, better than the live action ones too. It had that charm of the original, while completely making things fresher. Having the zombies ACTUALLY be zombie, and not some guy in a mask was such a shocking concept for a Scooby Doo film. Still have my VHS copy lol
Honestly the writers at Cartoon Network had absolutly no reason to go so hard on Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated...but they did anyway. Still my personal favorite version of the Scooby Doo gang to date.

At the risk of writing an essay, as someone who is a giant fan of 2010’s mystery incorporated, what I appreciate about the Velma and Shaggy relationship there is that it demonstrates Velma’s character flaws really well (something that she doesn’t really have in any iteration). It’s kind of obvious that neither Velma or Shaggy actually like each other, they just figured they might as well start dating because that something high schoolers are told to do. And it’s a pretty toxic relationship on both fronts: shaggy doesn’t pay attention to velma’s needs and chooses scooby over her, Velma doesn’t understand shaggy and is constantly trying to fix him (making him dress differently, using a rubber band on him whenever he said “like,” ect.). And when the relationship dissolves, it causes the both of them to reconsider their part in that and they still manage to be friends in the later seasons. I definitely agree with you on the lesbian Velma stuff but it was an animated show released in 2011, I wouldn’t be surprised if the writers were forbidden from making the relationship canon on screen. And I would also really recommend it since you’re such a fan of Daphne, she’s incredible in the show.
Love love LOVE mystery inc!!! I so wish people talked about it more, because it’s such a great show and exploration of the gang’s dynamic and characters
I was about to say the exact same! Cartoons in 2011 were very different from today. Like, regardless of any flaws in any shows, Korrassami crawled so Catradora could run, and Korrassami could barely do that in 2015, but it still managed to be the very first confirmed canon gay couple onscreen. Even Catradora faced serious backpush from the execs, and the creator admitted to breaking down crying the moment she was allowed to portray them kissing onscreen. Besides, here's the thing: in countries where gay couples are censored, these under the radar gay moments are so important for the people who do pick up on it. Sometimes it's best to keep this under the radar so, in the future, these kids who needed to see this will have actually not felt so othered since forever, they'll see themselves. So, yeah, Hot Dog Water and Velma couldn't be canon onscreen, but they're still canon

Ironically the original live action movie was going to be a parody. Some of it is still in the movie, with shaggy and Scooby doo in the mystery machine cooking, but panning it to show it look like their smoking it up while “Pass the Dutchie” by Musical Youth plays over it; that song obviously about passing a joint around. It’s quite interesting and makes sense why all the actors reprised vocal roles for Robot Chicken parodies as well.
I have to hate Scoob! purely because they took off the original VAs and they only found out when the movie was announced, Matt Lillard was chosen by Casey Kasem and has been Shaggy ever since until Scoob! Yeah it's airing on the CW but I don't think it's being made by the CW so I think they might of dodged a bullet there but yeah why is it airing on the CW? Is it going to be more adult? Are the gang going to swear or something like that? I don't know I guess we will have to wait and see.
The Emma roberts movie is the ultimate. Love it, and its a good drinking game if you’re of age and still watching Nancy Drew. Take a shot everytime they say some fort of “sleuth” and you’ll marvel at how the pacing matches your buzz
@@fellihoijer4395 HELL YEAH!!! Daphne’s my waifu! (Well one of them, for those who are wondering the others include but are not limited to; Emma Swan Drizella from Once Upon A Time, Poison Ivy, Katara, Gwen from Ben 10, and Rapunzel.) As of my reasons for those women in particular; When it comes to female characters I’m always when they go all the way a specific character trait, make the girl in question either super caring and sweet or make her an absolute BITCH and have them completely blunt about it, or even make them polite and down to earth. In the case of Poison Ivy however, I figure if you really want marry someone like her then the best way to do that is to really get to know her and show REAL love and companionship in a similar fashion to Harley would but just in a more honest way so that way one could TRULY emphasize with her, (well at the very least I think that’s the most logical method to to win over someone like her). Of course, only the PUREST of DC fans will know what I mean in regards to their dyamic, (especially because not EVERY incarnation depicts their bond as romantic and treats them more like beasties or even sisters when you really get down to it). Also, I swear to god I’m NOT racist, therefore, if any Japanese people get offended by the use of such a term then I apologize in advance.
fun fact mystery incorporated was the first version of scooby doo i ever saw i was born in 2005 so that’s why. I’m glad it’s objectively good because i think it’s the best because of nostalgia but i love other people love scooby doo mystery incorporated.
hearing julia say ‘scooby gang’ and seeing sarah michelle gellar in the live action movie portion ...... is making me yearn to hear julia’s take on buffy the vampire slayer, aka the best vampire media to ever exist
In my mind Daphne isn’t “the empath” but she is the the diplomat. Like she doesn’t genuinely care that much more about people than the rest of the gang, but she definitely knows how to play other people like a fiddle.
We empaths don't nescesarily care about the other person's feelings more than anyone else. We just can't stop ourselves from putting ourselves in the persons shoes.
While I love Mystery Incorporated and personally think its the best Scooby Doo thing alongside the 4 "Zombie Island" era movies and (to a certain extent) the OG 60's show, you are *100%* correct that Shaggy x Velma is *the worst thing ever imagined by a human.* very, VERY cringe.
Okay so for the last three years I’ve been listening to a podcast called “Scooby Do’s or Scooby Don’ts” which discusses every tv episode, film, short and game of scooby doo in chronological order, so you could say I’m a fan, and I can help answer your Bill Nye wonderings :p at the end the tv series scooby doo mystery incorporated, they create a different reality and Bill Nye appears via hologram to ask them to come to his lab and work out the science. It another way the three films try to establish a continuity with past iterations. You know, that still doesn’t really answer why him does it?
Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost was probably the first kid's movie to talk about what Wicca is in a positive light, even if it got a lot of facts wrong. It's still a bit rare to see how any piece of media tries to portray Wiccans or good witches or related characters like the Hex Girls as normal compared to the usual stereotypes they get by Hollywood.
Pretty sure I can honestly point to the Hex Girls in Witch's Ghost as one of the things that made me gay. Like damn Thorn you really did cast a spell on me, huh?
My problem with Zombie Island is that I hate horror movies and being scared and this movie gave kid me nightmares. The appeal of Scooby Doo to me was that the monsters were never real, so making them real scared the crap out of me. That being said, the Hex Girls were definitely part of my bi awakening.
They've had real monsters sprinkled in since the first season of Scooby Doo. They have a legit floating candle that's unrelated to the monster so the audience knows the mysteries could always be real. We also had Boo Brothers, Reluctant Werewolf, and Ghoul School as movies, with the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. All of which came out before Zombie Island.
I think the universe is encouraging my weird new fixation of scooby doo. I watch the show, movies, or reviews (most by billiam) when I'm eating in my dorm room. Now, Julia is making a video. This is absolutely splendid!
I was prepared to rage knowing that Ghoul School would not be ranked well, but I thank you for your thoughtful analysis. But honestly, just imagine watching those ghoulish girls as an 8 year old who thinks she’s a witch and you will understand why it will always be my #1🧟♀️ 👯♀️👻
Tim Curry absolutely loves Scooby Doo so much, that he wanted to be in the very first ever live action Scooby Doo Movie, but there was one problem. Scrappy Doo was also in it and like many other die hard SD Fan, he too hated Scrappy, so he dropped out😐
Still watching, but got to the “is Fred a hunk” part and, naturally, said OF COURSE immediately. But then that ascot-wearing blonde Rambo trap scene made me clench my pearls and start speaking like a southern belle, “I’m getting the vapors!.” What a man! Irl I don’t even prefer blonde men generally but Fred is just too lovable of a dumb dumb.
This is basically unrelated because I haven't watched the full video yet to know what the 3/3 snacks are yet, but just putting this out there that apparently the What's New Scooby-doo theme song was done by Simple Plan. If this isn't your favorite Simple Plan song, you are simply lying to yourselves!
This was great I didn’t know that this trip down scooby doo memory lane would be so satisfying because I did know know I watched that many scooby doo movies as a kid. I had Cyber Chase on VHS and Virus creeped the shit out of me as a kid lol
curse of the lake monster was my favorite movie at the age of 7. me and my twin sister would rent the dvd (yes, the good old days where we didn't know piracy) every week on wednesdays because it was when it was on sale and watch it every single day. i thought the ending was brilliant and loved shaggy and velma (yikes now lol). i rewatched it recently and was so disappointed lol but at least i have fond memories
@@Tjax514 And the invention of Thorn. I'm pretty sure she was the "Not straight" awakening of a lot of female fans of the series and movies including myself
You know if I'm being 100% honest outside of the two original live actions, the first live-action one with Hayley Kiyoko, and cyber chase, I don't remember watching a single Scooby-Doo movie. I think maybe I saw the last couple minutes of Where's My Mummy but even then I'm not sure. I'm more of a tv series type. Specifically What's New Scooby-Doo and Mystery Incorporated.
THERE'S A CONCLUSION TO 13 GHOSTS????? that was my favourite scooby show (and most ppl haven't even heard of it !) and i've always been mad that it wasn't finished and THERE'S A CONTINUATION???? thank you for bringing this to my attention my 10yo past self is screaming very loud rn >:O
I agree with some other comments I’ve seen, maybe it’s being generous, but I think Velma and Marcie not being shown as romantic on-screen was because of how hard it used to be (and still is I think, but less) to get that past the people at the top that can just say no. I might be wrong, but I thought I remember hearing Alex Hirsch struggled to even get a confirmed gay moment with two characters in the last episode of the show, in 2016, years after Mystery Inc.
you aren't wrong, there's storyboards of the original concept if i remember right. they had two male background characters with the implication or off comment that they're married/dating or something. and they switched it to straight couple because disney is... well, disney.
Following the horrors of the Velma show, I’m rewatching a variety of Scooby doo content, especially from people I can tell like the IP. ( something I don’t think can be said about the creators of Velma) I’ve watched this ranking a few times before this but just wanted to say thank you for the care and fun you have had with this video!
As a die-hard Scooby fan since childhood, I love this, your opinions are SO right. However, I am very sad you didn't review the crossover with Supernatural. It truly is something to see.
My top 3 Scooby-Doo doo movies were always: 3. Aloha Scooby-Doo 2. Alien Invaders 1. Zombie Island (I mean whag else would be number 1 to someone who LOVES Scooby-Doo like me)
SWAT Kats walked so that Scooby Doo on Zombie Island can run! No, seriously.... Scooby Doo on Zombie Island actually *did* started out as an unproduced episode of a 90s cartoon called SWAT Cats. Thats where all of the cat creature elements came from with this movie! 🙂I hope I'm not the only person who knows what SWAT Cats is...🤔
mystery inc is the scooby show i grew up with, and the episode where daphne goes on stage with the hex girls and sings a girlboss song about fred in front of him called “trap of love” is literally so iconic. the show was funny and really insane and really dark and i do rec it to anyone who likes scooby doo but hasn’t seen it. it’s amazing and fred is the best character. genuinely absolutely amazing how they turned the like.. infamously most boring character into the funniest. it’s got overarching plots with real stakes, and the characters really feel like teenagers
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen/heard of Jem and the Holograms (the animated show) but I’d love to hear your thoughts on it! My mom grew up on it and then had me watch it when I was younger, so Id love to know what you think about it :)
This video made me feel so nostalgic. My personal favourites were always Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost, Scooby-Doo and the Legend of the Vampire and Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School. Whenever my parents asked what I wanted to watch it'd always be one of these three 🥰 I remember Camp Scare quite fondly too! Edit: I meant the Vampire musical film not the legend of the vampire! Similar titles xD
Okay but the Scottish accents in Scooby-Doo and the Loch Ness Monster are maybe the funniest things I’ve ever heard in my life with the exception of course of the character played by the amazing Sheena Easton. I just don’t understand why they didn’t just hire some Scottish voice actors? 💀😭Pure unintended comic genius though👌
Daphne and Velma were literally supposed to be a couple in the movies, but Warner Bros. was very homophobic in the early 2000’s (low key still kinda are)
Scoob did have one redeeming quality. It gave us one of the funniest jokes of all time Velma: “we’re going to make Mystery Inc into a real business.” Shaggy: “what you mean like wear a tie and and and carry a briefcase and pay taxes?” Daphne: “wait have you not been paying your taxes?”
Mary Sue isn't a sexist term. There is a dude equivalent term Marty Stu. Its about a character having way too much luck and too many skills, therefore removing all stakes in the story cause they can beat everything. Its a major storytelling flaw. You say it like its just men being mad at a womans compitence. That is just not the case most of the time and if it is then thats just one asshole missusing the term.
This video was *made* for me. No joke. I watch every movie that comes out. I must confess, though, that I hate Scrappy Doo with all my being, which is weird, because I really don't hate any other character I've seen and don't like, in or out of Scooby Doo. This is hate, pure and simple. (And I know it's irrational, I get it)
I didn't even realize how long this video was when I clicked on it, I just saw that Julia did a movie review and instinctively clicked. I am happily surprised! ❤️
Scooby Doo Meets the Boo Brothers is my fave movie and has been since I seen it as a child I can’t tell you how sad I am that it was LAST on your list 😭

I THOUGHT THE VELMA AND DAPHNE TRAILER WAS A JOKE, LIKE IT WASN'T ACTUALLY GONNA BE A THING, LIKE A PARODY
i hate to break this to you bestie but there is an incoming scooby-doo reunion special... to be aired on the CW
??!
The CW of all places? That’s unfortunate
It's going to be trash
A message to the cartoon studios who basically manufactured everybody’s childhood: QUIT GIVING YOUR CHARACTERS, PLOT, TIMELESSNESS, ETC. TO CW
Yeah it's airing on the CW but I don't think it's being made by the CW so I think they might of dodged a bullet there but yeah why is it airing on the CW? Is it going to be more adult? Are the gang going to swear or something like that? I don't know I guess we will have to wait and see.
an hour-long video about scooby doo? *HELL YEAH*
Julias supporting other Julias? We LOVE to see it!

indeed

best way to spend an hour tbh
the raw fear of “is my favorite movie next?” is just so much
and it’s 22 😖
You should talk about Nancy Drew! There's a million books and adaptations and could be interesting to analyze
Great idea!
+
The Emma roberts movie is the ultimate. Love it, and its a good drinking game if you’re of age and still watching Nancy Drew. Take a shot everytime they say some fort of “sleuth” and you’ll marvel at how the pacing matches your buzz
can i pls have you talk about daphne for an hour as well she’s like my childhood icon....
I too would enjoy this very much... Daphne and her inconsistent portrayals would be so interesting... also she's my favorite too!
Same here Daphne is so Iconic
Also, I swear to god I’m NOT racist, therefore, if any Japanese people get offended by the use of such a term then I apologize in advance.
zombie Island is the superior of all the movies and you can't change my mind
just got finished with the whole video, you top 6 are immaculate
We ALL know the best version of Scooby-Doo is IN FACT Mystery Incorporated and I DO NOT take ANY criticisms.
😌
yes!!!
It is the GOAT! 😍
I hate mystery incorporated :(
fun fact mystery incorporated was the first version of scooby doo i ever saw i was born in 2005 so that’s why.
“we empaths”
shout-out to linda cardellini's velma for being my childhood crush
While I love Mystery Incorporated and personally think its the best Scooby Doo thing alongside the 4 "Zombie Island" era movies and (to a certain extent) the OG 60's show, you are *100%* correct that Shaggy x Velma is *the worst thing ever imagined by a human.* very, VERY cringe.
Yeah. It just seems very forced.
The comic Scooby Apocalypse also pairs up Shaggy and Velma lol it's bad there too.
@@Bazongaz13Yeah... Scooby Apocalypse is SUCH a mixed bag. For every good character design / personalities choice there's a jaw-droppingly stupid one.
agreed it was the worst part of mystery inc
Okay so for the last three years I’ve been listening to a podcast called “Scooby Do’s or Scooby Don’ts” which discusses every tv episode, film, short and game of scooby doo in chronological order, so you could say I’m a fan, and I can help answer your Bill Nye wonderings :p at the end the tv series scooby doo mystery incorporated, they create a different reality and Bill Nye appears via hologram to ask them to come to his lab and work out the science. It another way the three films try to establish a continuity with past iterations. You know, that still doesn’t really answer why him does it?
Bill Nye is in mystery inc? what?
@@JimboPro he isn't, im assuming they are referring to harlan ellison perhaps??
When I saw this on my homepage I said, out loud, “Julia, why?”
Then clicked, of course.
Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost was probably the first kid's movie to talk about what Wicca is in a positive light, even if it got a lot of facts wrong. It's still a bit rare to see how any piece of media tries to portray Wiccans or good witches or related characters like the Hex Girls as normal compared to the usual stereotypes they get by Hollywood.
this video deserves an Oscar.
ruclips.net/video/fGj_aBpHIIk/видео.html
people who follow julia on letterbox’d knew this was coming😌
Pretty sure I can honestly point to the Hex Girls in Witch's Ghost as one of the things that made me gay. Like damn Thorn you really did cast a spell on me, huh?
Bro sameeeee
I'm not done with the video yet, but I HOPE you watched the Supernatural/Scooby-doo crossover bc it's hilarious
My problem with Zombie Island is that I hate horror movies and being scared and this movie gave kid me nightmares. The appeal of Scooby Doo to me was that the monsters were never real, so making them real scared the crap out of me. That being said, the Hex Girls were definitely part of my bi awakening.
You would HATE Saturday Morning Mystery
Same. I hate Frankencreepy because of this reason too.
The hex girls made me realize how much I loved goth women. I mean as a skinny white boy I think it’s just my dna 😂😂😂
I really recommend giving Mystery Inc 2010 a chance. It’s really freaking good. The story is super strong and the overarching muster is too
I was prepared to rage knowing that Ghoul School would not be ranked well, but I thank you for your thoughtful analysis.
But then that ascot-wearing blonde Rambo trap scene made me clench my pearls and start speaking like a southern belle, “I’m getting the vapors!.”
What a man! Irl I don’t even prefer blonde men generally but Fred is just too lovable of a dumb dumb.
science says every time julia posts we get a taylor album... so 1989 TV has a vault track about scooby doo CONFIRMED
pirates ahoy was such an iconic movie in my childhood aaaaaaaaa
Sameee
same
Same!
Ghoul School slaps this brought back so many memories
This is basically unrelated because I haven't watched the full video yet to know what the 3/3 snacks are yet, but just putting this out there that apparently the What's New Scooby-doo theme song was done by Simple Plan. If this isn't your favorite Simple Plan song, you are simply lying to yourselves!
This was great I didn’t know that this trip down scooby doo memory lane would be so satisfying because I did know know I watched that many scooby doo movies as a kid. I had Cyber Chase on VHS and Virus creeped the shit out of me as a kid lol
I'm genuinely happy Goblin King was ranked so high. The other superstars are a given, but GK and Witch's Ghost were my faves
i agree, i watch them every halloween because they’re my favourite
Julia, if it makes you feel any better, nobody likes Scrappy Doo
At least most people. I’m just indifferent personally
curse of the lake monster was my favorite movie at the age of 7. me and my twin sister would rent the dvd (yes, the good old days where we didn't know piracy) every week on wednesdays because it was when it was on sale and watch it every single day. i thought the ending was brilliant and loved shaggy and velma (yikes now lol). i rewatched it recently and was so disappointed lol but at least i have fond memories
Witch's Ghost is quite honestly the best animated movie
They cast Tim Curry as the villain it's genius.
@@madisonwaycaster9832 that and both songs by the Hex Girls SLAP
@@Tjax514 And the invention of Thorn. I'm pretty sure she was the "Not straight" awakening of a lot of female fans of the series and movies including myself
@@madisonwaycaster9832 yup me too.
@@madisonwaycaster9832 she was the OG Goth GF
It's barely a conclusion they kinda just stuck the normal formula over the interesting one that 13 ghosts had
Everyone: discussing their own Scooby-Doo nostalgia
Me: SONNY AND CHER WERE IN A SCOOBY DOO EPISODE I NEED TO WATCH THIS NOW
"Tank, empath, brain, heart"
What a lazy, incongruous naming convention
The number 1 choice. I see she has taste and is cultured and I can’t help but stan
Not enough is being said about Julia's nails in this. They're fantastic.
I actually like the shaggy velma pair up tho
Following the horrors of the Velma show, I’m rewatching a variety of Scooby doo content, especially from people I can tell like the IP. ( something I don’t think can be said about the creators of Velma) I’ve watched this ranking a few times before this but just wanted to say thank you for the care and fun you have had with this video!
As a die-hard Scooby fan since childhood, I love this, your opinions are SO right. However, I am very sad you didn't review the crossover with Supernatural. It truly is something to see.
My top 3 Scooby-Doo doo movies were always:
3. Aloha Scooby-Doo
2. Alien Invaders
1. Zombie Island (I mean whag else would be number 1 to someone who LOVES Scooby-Doo like me)
am I the only one that liked the idea of velma and shaggy getting together?
They end up together in the Scooby Doo Apocalypse comics.
Tank . When Fred is very clearly the trap guy???
I hope you will review the upcoming Scooby Doo meets Courage the Cowardly Dog movie sometimes after it premieres in fall!
Oh i absolutely cackled at 'who is that?' *puts on hat* 'THE SHERIFF'
SWAT Kats walked so that Scooby Doo on Zombie Island can run!
No, seriously.... Scooby Doo on Zombie Island actually *did* started out as an unproduced episode of a 90s cartoon called SWAT Cats. Thats where all of the cat creature elements came from with this movie! 🙂I hope I'm not the only person who knows what SWAT Cats is...🤔
i cannot believe Scooby goes to Hollywood is ranked that low
I still remember the Blair Witch Project inspired promos for Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost
mystery inc is the scooby show i grew up with, and the episode where daphne goes on stage with the hex girls and sings a girlboss song about fred in front of him called “trap of love” is literally so iconic. the show was funny and really insane and really dark and i do rec it to anyone who likes scooby doo but hasn’t seen it. it’s amazing and fred is the best character. genuinely absolutely amazing how they turned the like.. infamously most boring character into the funniest. it’s got overarching plots with real stakes, and the characters really feel like teenagers
Yes I ended up really liking Fred 😆👍🏼
lead writer: bad news gang, we only have three words to describe Shaggy's girlfriend Googy
45:30 The kiss sailor moon references🖤🖤🖤🖤
Finally someone putting some RESPECT on Where's My Mummy's name!!
Scooby-Do cartoon was a big part of my childhood. The best racing film is Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby!
I prefer Mindy Cohn’s voice for Velma over her new one, who’s with me?
Agree! I’ve seen the new duck tales reboot so to me her new actress Kate Micuchi just sounds like Webby.
That’s my favorite toooo
Also are we just gonna blast past the capitalist messaging of that Hawaii one like that? He said WHAT?
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen/heard of Jem and the Holograms (the animated show) but I’d love to hear your thoughts on it! My mom grew up on it and then had me watch it when I was younger, so Id love to know what you think about it :)
Same my mom watched it too and I ended up watching it too
El Kabong is the Scoobyverse's Comic Sans.
scooby doo is one of my favorite things ever im screaming so loud right now
This video made me feel so nostalgic.
"In conclusion, Beau." Yes.
It gave us one of the funniest jokes of all time
Velma: “we’re going to make Mystery Inc into a real business.”
Shaggy: “what you mean like wear a tie and and and carry a briefcase and pay taxes?”
Daphne: “wait have you not been paying your taxes?”
I was not expecting this at all, but I am so happy it exists.
Scooby stans rise up.
I second this completely
This video was *made* for me. No joke. I watch every movie that comes out.
I must confess, though, that I hate Scrappy Doo with all my being, which is weird, because I really don't hate any other character I've seen and don't like, in or out of Scooby Doo. This is hate, pure and simple. (And I know it's irrational, I get it)
if yall liked this Breadsword also has a long vid analysing scooby-doo and i highly recommend it!!
He’s also pro-scrappy
That clip from Ghoul School sent me BACK to my childhood holy shit
Camp Scare is one of the best cartoon movies by a long shot, I have a lot of nostalgia with this one and it’s such a fun film
The WWE crossover movies were definitely part of a brief weird era for HB properties (and Surfs Up).
I didn't even realize how long this video was when I clicked on it, I just saw that Julia did a movie review and instinctively clicked. I am happily surprised! ❤️
I never liked Scrappy-Doo either, I was born in 1993
Scooby Doo Meets the Boo Brothers is my fave movie and has been since I seen it as a child I can’t tell you how sad I am that it was LAST on your list 😭
10:12
FINALLY, SOMEONE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT HOW GODAWFUL SHELMA IS.
(Also, I don’t like Velma in Mystery Inc. She’s *way* out of character.)
