Very true not a lot out there on acoustic rigs. Love your Taylor BTW. I trimmed down my pedalboard that was huge and heavy. I went with the Daddario expandable which is a little larger than yours. The Stomp is the heart of my rig. Since I do both electric and acoustic, I have a few additional pedals. A strymon cloudburst for ambient reverb and pad effects. For electric I recently added the Tonex1 which has great amp captures. However I have a specific preset in my HX Stomp for acoustic. It took me a good year of experimenting and working with my acoustic signal chain to deal primarily with the problems with Piezo pickup system. I have a Taylor 810CE. Have used it for 20 years for all kinds of worship settings.
Nic and simple setup. I play electric. The cheaper/budget alternative is having autopad/autopad app on your phone. If u playing live Setup yo phone to Do Not Disturb while connecting the phone via Aux /OTG cable to the PA System.
Beautiful Taylor you have. I really like the 324. I play in church with a Larrivee OM through a simple NUX Acoustic Stageman pedal which gives you a nice reverb and chorus if you want it. I also have a Headrush Core I recently bought and I am working on building some acoustic rigs. Nice job here on the video 👍 Michael Westbrook has a great video on the HX Stomp for building acoustic sound. He plays for Crowder on tour.
Your setup is really cool. I've been playing keys in church most of my life and started playing acoustic guitar in church a few years ago. I play either keys or guitar depending on the need each Sunday. My acoustic rig features the LR Baggs Voiceprint DI and the zoom ac3. Currentlt using my Yamaha fgx800ce but im experimenring with my Art and lutherie roadhouse demin parlor guitar too. Cheers
Nice, simple acoustic setup for use a worship context. There’s a lot of other functionality you could utilize with something in the Helix family as well… You might also try out using an impulse response block. Worship Tutorials provides some high quality, free IRs for acoustic Another supplement would be Polycapo, which functions like a capo without the tonal drawbacks of a shorter scale length when using a physical capo Last, a midi to Bluetooth adaptor if you use digital chord charts, and the stomp becomes a page turner as well These are just a few of endless options
Thanks for using Truetone, Mike! Great video. I had never heard of the Atmosphere before... very cool! If you ever need help with power supply questions, feel free to reach out. - Bob Weil
I also have the a Taylor 324ce and I love it but have always hated the pickup in it, it just sounds so tinny and not warm, I was getting ready to either replace the pickup or sell it altogether, now I might try your settings. Thanks for a great video!
I tried it sounds great as far as I can tell but I only can try with headphones and the problem is I can here the actual guitar at the same time electric is so much easier I'm guessing you would have to record yourself or get someone else to play the guitar to completely limit this. I added a shimmer and a IR that was free from worship tutorials on a split block and put them all on the switches so when I'm plugged in in church I've got some stuff to play round with but appreciate this video as I think it's the only one on RUclips were someone has built a patch specifically for the es2 pick up
But this isn’t a pedalboard for an acoustic guitar, is it. Yes, it may be the board you are using while you are playing an acoustic guitar, but when you flipped the board over to reveal a Helix…. I realized that every second a viewer had spent to that point had been needlessly wasted.
This is the board I am currently using and it works for me. It is just one option out of many for acoustic. Who knows, maybe I'll switch it up in the future. There have been some great suggestions in the comments as to what others use and I would be open to hearing any suggestions you may have for an acoustic rig. Thanks for watching and commenting - it helps the channel grow and reach more people.
The line 6 is not a dedicated acoustic processor. It just has an acoustic setting, but this is almost exclusively for electric with some bass guitar settings added in too. You really need to go to a dedicated acoustic guitar processor.

Might be worth looking into acoustic IRs. I’ve found it to be a cool way to get a miced up guitar sound rather than the limitations of eq with a piezo
Hey Mike!! Thanks for the nice video. What model Taylor is that one?
@@willbranch5485 thanks for watching. It’s a 324ce.
The warm sound of the acoustic is so good

Headrush core is a no brainer vs stomp price wise for an all-in-one. 14 blocks, vocals and guitar fx. I have the stomp though and a VE-500.

Tc helicon acoustic play uses body Rez settings works really well for me on acoustic guitar

I really like this pickup, but it does take some additional EQ to shape it how I want it. I'm basically cutting highs and adding lows.
I owned the 322 ce love it
Thats cool for guys like me who love pads😉Would be even super cool to throw an expression/ volume pedal on board as an option.Ijs
@@everbrightmobile9008 no doubt, especially for electric guitar.
Congratulations nice set up
I have a question
Do you hook the atmosphere paddle effect into the H axis stump or you use a separate channel for it?
@@trycleaning1639 I use a separate channel for it. However, you could run the atmosphere through the effects loop on the stomp.
Great video
@@stevenhepting8013 Thanks, Steven.
This is sick
Thanks might try this i have a taylor but haven't spent much time building a preset for it on my stomp as im only playing lead atm
Hope this helps! I love the versatility of the Stomp being able to use it for both acoustic and electric.
Ye Ive only used it plugged in once but I needed the stomp anyway as my es2 pick up is making ground noise so the gate got rid of that

I take it you have your eq nobs on Taylor both at noon ?
I usually keep the bass EQ around 2 o'clock and treble around 10 o'clock.
Super!!!
Hx stomp also have pad generators… I see you still have 2 blocks left.
Hey bud!! What camera do you use to shoot your video
I'm using two in this video for different angles- Sony A7IV and Sony A7RV.
Do you know of an affordable pedal that creates piano sound for acoustic guitar? I play a lot in church.
@@jwllong I don’t, sorry.
Which Taylor model is this one? Looks so sexyyy. I thought it was an Ibanez..
@@kenminerva it’s a 324ce in shaded edgeburst. I think they discontinued this particular finish.

324ce
Why didn't you play the guitar with the atmosphere
@@paulomahony4416 I did that in the intro.

Nah you can get away with using acoustic guitar on stomp. I have also used acoustic sim block using my acoustic guitar with great success.
Zoom AC3 would do the trick
@@rovenordialessame i use the stomp exclusively for my acoustic and it sounds great.
I like the voiceprint di from LR Baggs
