At this stage METROTOPIA exists only as a small mucleus that indicates potential, and it is only open for private viewing by invitation. We are currently talking to many design- and design-related firms about taking up spacce in Metrotopia, the first 6 months are free (except for direct costs involved in hosting special events). We had hosted an afternoon of opening events - capacity 100-150 simultaneous participants on the 18th May, including a press viewing, vernissage and panel discussion. On show was/is an exhibition featuring architectural projects - built, to be built and unbuilt - authored by leading firms, including OMA, Morphosis, Coop Himmelb(l)au, UnStudio, MAD, Sou Fujimoto, Archi-Union, LAVA, CAP, EcoLogic Studio and ZHA a.o. This show gives you a glimpse of what a virtual architecture Biennale might look like and how it might display works. You might check our initial website: www.metrotopia.io/

I'm very curious to see how the philosophical implications of Metrotopia will be addressed and explored. It's an experiment with profound potential.
