Eg ..in on going sharad ritu from 15 th Sept to 15 th November..old wheat ,rice and barley or jau is suggested in Charak Samhita....as thie period is pitta dominated and known as breeding season of diseases....hence the precautions.... But then it depends which audience you are targeting at ....irrespective of any , influencers need be imparting,right information ....

Good for non- diabetic But not good for diabetic because of 90% of wheat with high glycemic value. Also, It is advised to eat bajra alone because its flour start getting bad and within a week. Hence, it is being consumed within a week. U r advised to prepare another mixture of grains to deal with diabetic problem.
