- I spent 24 hours shiny hunting in the Indigo Disk, all in order to eventually shiny hunt my first ever Pokemon from when I was 5 years old. I have been obsessed with pokemon since I was a kid, and now 20 years later, and 3 years of shiny hunting, I was finally able to find my first pokemon shiny in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Indigo Disk.

After rewatching the full section, the litten he did find a few seconds later is the same one at 10:40, the editing is just clipped together oddly. I don’t think he failed this shiny ✨

Your not the only person who had totodile as their very first ever pokemon when starting playing the series, totodile was also my very first pokemon when i started playing pokemon all the way back in 2010
I felt the same way getting my first ever shiny Squirtle (who started me off way back in Gen 1). Took me until this DLC to get one…don’t even have one in Pokemon Go yet.
And yea, I cried when I got him…my wife thought I had lost my mind until I explained it to her.

I love totodile too, it was my second fave starter as well when i was kid to back in my days.
I love pkmn too plus I’m more into water duo types (mix or so) similarly to Lorelei n Misty combo.
I have so many faves but this totodile stuck with me the most from gen 2 n other water starters. They all need lots of loves n hugs. IF PKMN wasn’t around my life wouldn’t be here today. I still play pkmn to this day as well after 28+ yrs, now I’m gonna be 36 in February.

The funny thing is i didn't get into pokemon until one day, someone gave me a little bronzor card and legit fell in love with it. I lost the card sadly but bronzor a dumb little steel type got me into pokemon

when you shiny hunt in max outbreaks do you just knock out 60 and walk around or just keep knocking them out until the outbreak goes away

I feel the same way about eevee like you do totodile (ignore that I'm called simipour fan, i just think simipour needs more love) I was at the point where i was going to give up on Pokemon (and regrettably threw out some DVDs instead of keeping them ) until i looked threw my old pokemon card binder and saw all the Eeveelution cards i owned.

When he failed a shiny gravler at the first time it reminded me when i failed shiny tatugire white one and forgot to save and the shiny killed it's self.

Ive had the best shiny luck with the indigo disk. Random shinies too! Got a shiny horsea randomly yesterday! 😂 Also not gonna lie...i got tears in my eyes on the tododile...

I mean I don't think it'd bad you broke the no dub sandwiches per zone rule since... yeah sometimes a sandwich just doesn't give you anything and there's a bit too much overlap in typings for some areas so locking yourself out of them just becomes more annoying when added with a time limit. Personally feel the rule should be changed that you can't make the same sandwich twice so long as you got at least one shiny out of it. You already limited yourself to 6 hours per biome, and taking away the time it takes to make the sandwiches that'd leave you with probably only 9-10 sandwiches worth of time per area so may as well focus on the stuff you really wanted.
