Your vid was very helpful and you're relaxing to listen to for descriptions. I haven't found many videos that have helped me with trying to learn Krita.
Glad I found Krita. Been meaning to get some shirt ideas off the ground and on Cafepress as royalties. On short-term disability now and had to get a loan from family because my doctor refused to sign my paperwork after knowing I can't work, meaning no paycheck from my short-term disability company. So I have a FREE art program, Krita, that's just as good as Photoshop and can make shirts for free and still get some money off of it. Some money is better than nothing when you're not getting in any of your own money. Glad we have Krita.
I just wanna say great job on this video. Thanks for making things so clear and even occasionally rephrasing for a better understanding. You're the goat.
Great video bro. How you could improve is maybe getting straight to the point. Other than that you are a freaking legend and you have help me massively!!!
This is interesting. I never knew how familiar Krita would be coming from Photoshop. GIMP keeps getting recommended as the alternative, whereas Krita is so much closer to Photoshop than GIMP is. It's also a lot closer to Illustrator than its alternatives. Thanks for this!
I highly recommend you play with the G'MIC plugin. There are a few hidden gems in the version for Krita. Use the 5.0 beta if you don't want to have to fiddle with linking it up manually.
The best 22 minutes of my life ... i learned many generic and useful tips ... i'd rather download Krita than Photoshop (in my opinion krita with the plugin offers more features related to drawing than photoshop) You earned a Sub , keep the amazing Krita tutorials coming :)
Thanks dude just as a heads up I do when this video was made I was still streaming quite frequently. Since then Ive had little time to do it. Wanted to let you know so you weren't suprised.
My bigest issue with Kira as of now is, that if you want to creat a box of certain sizes it wont let you, you just draw a box via aproximation, at no point are you asked which parameters you want the drawn box to have. You cani input the size into a mask but you cant turn the mask into and drawn layer. In photoshop the box tool can creat you a box with size of your choosing but you cant do the same in Kira which is realy stupid and if you can do it, one hour of searching the settings and alot of youtube tutorials still didnt lend me to an answer
Krita was designed with the chance that the average user of it is drawing with a pen tablet like a Wacom Cintiq. In fact a huge number of the userbase run Ubuntu which has some of the best support for pen tablets in the Linux ecosystem. Since its easier to just draw want you want with a stylus its not really better to type in values or define minute details otherwise. I do understand that in many other workflows this is not the way of things but think of it, would you edit a video on a Cintiq? So why would you use a similar workflow when making digital art 99% of the other time.
I had to look up one of his videos since it be never heard him speak before. The resemblance is uncanny. Not hard to see why my mannerisms reminded you of him.
No offense taken I was hoping it would sort itself out on its own and it didn't. I just don't know how or have a good enough razor that can keep it clean currently.

Yes I think I could since I've made business cards in Krita in the past.
THANK`S
Can you pls help me with why my layer styles is not clickable
Layer styles are only available on vector or paint layers, you can either convert the layer to one or create a layer as such.
