Just made a very similar comment. I had to start & stop, duplicate, then wash, rinse, repeat. I am enjoying the repetition though. it's how we will get better.
I have had to watch this video over & over. Mess up at a certain point, scrap it and start from the beginning. I have seen this at least twenty times and i have gone step by step, and I have finally gotten mine looking very close to what I saw on the screen. Feels good. Gonna keep practicing. Great video!

Thank You For This Video It Has Helped Me Termendously 😊 It Took Me An Hour And A Half Restarting And Restarting Over And Over Again Before I Finally Figured Out That I Have To Lock Everything Before Adding The Next Step, Without Locking Everything First Davinci Would Add Both Background And Merge In A Different Order And It Wouldn't Let Me Change It. ARRRR

I've been using Apple Motion, and this has helped me. You might consider isolating your microphone from your desk, so that we don't here the thump of the keyboard.
