This is so overpowered with helicopters and Fighter jets it is going to over the new meta
Once thing you forget to mention about the max level mercenaries, their upkeep is 2k cash per unit, so is you got a full stack with 10 units only, you gonna need 20k per day to keep them, which really not that cheap
Hey melliodas :) Can you do a vid after this series playing as a weak country without anything related to do with security council. I dont have security council and i can queue buildings or mobilisation. It would be really fun to see your raw talent :)
One thing to take note of with Mercenaries as well is that they specialize in killing troops before they get to your cities, not necessarily that they defend cities, like national guard would

I don't think they compete with the national guard, mercenaries are another way to spend spare cash if you don't want spies.

@@Storysnapz_66 Mercenaries are good for using extra money to defend your country. They are good at attacking enemy units which invade your provinces but not as good at defending cities as national guard, but you could use both.
I think mercenaries would be better if they never start a war when they cross a border and also be seen as nationless to others. This would add a great twist to the game both politically and militarily allowing a whole list of new tactics.
or they could add that you can fund rebels in other countries that are fighting insurgencies

While mercenaries don't have a set ideology,they still support their country of origin,like Wagner so not entirely possible
@@aaroncruz9181 True, but with your example of Wagner, Russia sent their "little green men" into Ukraine (before the main Russo-Ukrainian War going on currently) that didn't have an official country. Like everyone knew it was Russia, but from an official standpoint it wasn't. So stuff like that can happen in real life and would be a very interesting gameplay mechanic.

Mercenaries are useless at a strategic level--their offensive ability is only useful at early game while their build cost is only cheap at late game. At late game, some uses I can imagine: 1. absorb damage for other units and buildings; 2. throw them into water to create decoy radar signature to confuse enemy (but this only works against extremely prudent players); 3. stack with national guards to capture land (basically, protect against stray infantries at random locations). They would be more useful if they are better at defense rather than offense.

Hi Melliodas, players and game creators. My nick name is i.wolfman in the game. I play more than 3 years and has a membership in security council. This game gives me the chance to rule one of the country in the world and have a good war with other players with huge amount of units. I have been noticing about 1 year that game designers reduce economics more and more so the gameplay becomes more boring. Why? Low economics gives low quantity of units, wars and interest. Why game creators do that? They think that if they reduce economics people will start to buy more gold but they are starting use 2nd account and play overkill maps and gain gold from it. It confirm resent 10x and 7x maps where I can produce 3-4 national guards and 1 plane in one real day. Not too much for having good fight or protect my ports. No problem guys. Reduce economics more and more and think that people spend more money in the game but I think they will seek alternatives more and more too. But I can not only criticise the game. I offer the way how to increase your revenue. Create the map for security council members only with good economics, 1x, 4x and 6x speed. So you can give players the choice to play free maps with everage economics and buy membership and play a real battle. Mercenary can also be spawned in states
So mercenaries are like special forces but without the stealth ability
but they dont have special abilities like the special forces like air assault or amphibious assault, they also manpower and money hungry which is new. most troops are components/supplies heavy and electronics heavy and some units require expensive buildings, mercenaries just need a province with a mercenary outpost

@@MelliodasGaming they use more manpower and probably use the money to buy some good gear,they could also have more competent leadership due to their merit system, rather than a seniority one,
Wagner units tend to use a merit system
which allows any soldier with good leadership and combat skills to be promoted more quickly than in a normal military where in order to be promoted you have to serve for years, this explains why they often used in meat grinders where losing officers or squad leaders will not affect them as much than normal military units. Major powers use mercenaries due to mostly geopolitical reasons where a normal military isn't possible,
E.g Wagner units can be found in a strip from Niger to Sudan, where it all began, PMC are good for political stability since PMC's mobilise convicts and prisoners but also are a voluntary force, and dont need to mobilise normal citizens going about their daliy lives, who have families
Though one disadvantage with them is that they might asking where's the ammunition , even though they don't need it

level 5 radar cannot see stealth troops, including special troops, stealth drones and other stealth troops, is it a decline in quality
You mean doesn't have a scout attributes,but a amphibious vehicle has it,besides recon vehicles
@@aaroncruz9181 I know that recon can see stealth troops, but its range is limited, different from ground radar, previously land radar level 5 could detect stealth troops, now only max lvl ground radar can see stealth troops
