@@toxicwifi65 This didn't happen. But I can explain to you the charges. Class C misdemeanor is up to a 500 dollar fine. A class B misdemeanor is up to 180 days in jail and or a fine not to exceed 2k. A class A is 1 year in jail and up to 4k in fine. After that it's felonies that carry a maximum of 10k fine with certain amounts of prison terms. But all except capital felony are 10k fines. What she did was maybe considered theft or robery (if she made bodily harm to a victim by hitting him with her purse) it is a theft if she just didn't cause injury. If it's theft then there is a punishment scale. If the item is 100 ollars or less then it's a class C. Which I am assuming that set wasn't that much. If it was then she is looking at a class B. Which I'd theft of an item between 100 and 750. So we are looking at this charge. Which again I said the charge was around 1k. As for assault then there is a separate charge. The mall security would keep her there until the police arrived. The court system would set the charges and the amount. The police arrest people on the charges they do not set punishments. They also do not call the victims to tell them what was charged. The courts handle all that. This kid would had to go to court.
