This is an awesome lesson and a great teacher. I have played that song for years with 3rds and 6ths but not the steely type licks. I love it. I have subscribed and will get your lessons. thanks so much.
I really enjoyed your lesson, you didnt move to fast and I appreciated that you mentioned the chords involved instead of just the tab location on the fretboard.

Awesome lesson and you are an excellent instructor!
excellent! Thanks for taking your time and patience. Too many other teachers are to dang fast. Thanks again from Texas.
Great lesson, many thanks👍
Excellent, easy to follow lesson and solid playing. The tone is spot on, too. I can't imagine a regular guitar emulating that pedal steel sound any better than that. What are your settings on the guitar and the rest of your signal path?
Hello Ben, this is Brian Baker. We played in a George Strait tribute band for a little while. Do you happen to have a video that shows all the ending chords going on? The Turn arounds and the final ending figure.
thanks so much for this video. Absolutly great work!

@@EpicGuitarInstruction Hey Eric that steel guitar effect is something that is very impressive. I'm in my late 60s but have been playing since school so taking your instruction was painless. I'd like to persue more country style licks. That particular one you played possibly of E9 is tasty. Well done.
@@EpicGuitarInstruction Eric while working on that intro. Two things.
I'm bending the first chord slightly before sliding.
Also I'm using the Dmaj7 position on the 7th frett for the next chord instead of sliding down to the 2n frett.
The first bend give the feel of the pedal steel. For what it's worth. Thanks.
Killer stuff thank you
Look like that guitar was played few times :) Massively good tutorial

Great video, but having a tab would make me learn this lots faster. Didn't find one though...
Thank you! Great video!
Hmmm. This is good. However......my acoustic doesn't have a cutaway, so I would have to figure something out for the fiddle part.....maybe an octave lower? Not sure how that would sound, but I ain't gonna go buy another guitar (as if I need any more of those) to do this thing! I suppose I could learnify it on my wall art electric and then figure it out for my acoustic......... At any rate, thanks for the lesson. I heard this classic on da radio last week and just knewed that I gotta learnify it so me and some fellas that get together to jam a couple times a month can add it to our list of jams.

Hi and thanks so much for watching this lesson and for your kind words - really appreciated and so glad that u liked the lesson.
