Gundog: 'Let's get everything on a tray' Me: 'Nice!' 😂
Great review! As an Australian I would feel just at home eating this. As mentioned you did the noodles differently, but that is no fault of yours since you never had them before. Usually you just drain the noodles, then add all the packets into and stir it!
Nice review and you are a master of the scene - you managed to squeeze this rich ration into one picture!
The Marmite works in Burton Upon Trent used to have a direct pipeline from a brewery pumping in the yeast sludge, across a busy road. I like both Marmite and Vegemite (as well as both Coke and Pepsi), and could eat the stuff until the cows come home. If you eat too much at once, it has the odd effect in some people of starting a nosebleed. Yeast extract pairs very well with cheese, and is fantastic in gravy. Some people never get the taste, which is a shame, as it's very good for you, full of complex B vitamins. It's so entrenched in British life, that things like TV shows are sometimes described as 'Marmite' - you either love them or hate them. I can't imagine life without it, myself.
yay!!! it's a great day when GunDog has a video up!
Great review again GunDog, as always!
So good to have you back.
We also have the Five Flavours variety in Life Savers here in Australia, although they are less common than the single flavour packs. Nice to see you get a fresh (super-fresh by ADF standards) CR1M to review.
merry Christmas sir and bravo on the Italian ration coming soon..cheers
"I have a can of Russian cheese that's still partially on my kitchen ceiling" File that under' Things ration reviewers say.'
Great video, really interesting to listen to the little tidbits you have on everything there.
My father was an army Sargent so I grew up being familiar with all that entails. I thought everyone knew how to use a p51 or p38. I'd LOVE to have a FRED. Once you get used to using any of those, regular openers are substandard. I can open a can quicker with the military openers as fast as an electric one. Great video Gundog..ty for sharing this fantastic MRE with us. I'd really love to try one
Very interesting ration. Lots going on in the way of variety :) really enjoyed it :)
Ah, Cat Opera... "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou..."
GOOD to see thank you for the video.
Great Review, I hope you'll be posting another review soon! I miss your videos!
Get your cat fixed and do your bit to ease the strain on the shelters. Sooo many kitties and puplies and so few no kill shelters, bless them. love your vids👍
capsicum is what those of us below call bell peppers so that may be why there is no heat from them
Great channel, keep up the good work
Man that zip lock bag is a life saver in the field
