I took my heatercore out and didnt realize it was that whole. I sealed the whole and currently installing a SMALL atv heater from ebay

Hmm ATV heater, I think I should use that on my 911 swap I have. The heat sucks in the car but AC works great

@RustyRatchetGarage yeah that way I seal that 8" by 8" hole lmao. I also ended up figuring out it was the root of all the water coming in the car. If u check the atv heater is small and you plug it to the heater hoses and just add a cut off valve for whej the summer starts. So it can only flow on the winter. They do it on atvs all the time

Throw a few bags of rice (open the top of the bag) to suck up all that moisture!! Crazy but effective!!!

Walmart sells bags of unscented kitty litter that is made of the same desiccant that comes in those little pouches you sometimes find in the box when you buy new electronics. I've used it before and it doesn't get nasty like wet rice can.

I bought those moisture bags that @madislandguy was talking about

I actually have a bunch of those, bought them from Amazon for my toolbox. Now I’ll toss a bunch in the car. Thanks for the idea

Well, yes, if you didn't have sealant on the cover, that would certainly do it. One other leak area is the drain from the evaporator in the heater core for the a/c down through the center tunnel.

The ac drain does work perfectly, I only had one small bead of sealant on that cover. It should be all fixed. Gotta wait for some rain now lol

I had similar issue but leak was coming from a hole under battery!
