This is a great video and I appreciate you sharing it. There’s 40 splines on the inner and 44 on the outer torsion bar. One click on the inner lowers it abt 2.5”. One click on the outer lowers it abt 2.3”. Therefore you can use combinations of inner and outer clicks up or down to get the drop you want all based upon the stock baseline. That’s using a 16.5” 944 trailing arm dimension and geometry. Your actual results may be different but that’s a very high level explanation of the theoretical mathematical bit. Cheers!

I bought my first 924 about 32 years ago and they weren't very popular. I also had an RX7FB at the same time but you couldn't get lowering springs or coilovers back then. Well not easily anyway. It's amazing how cool they look once slammed. In fact, am about to buy another 924 and came here to learn how. I've put a deposit on a 1981 base model 924 with slick top and wind up windows. It's a silver car and I'd really like a red leather interior and 17'' Fuchs alloys. Well that's the plan anyway.

There's something about a slammed 944 which is so wrong, yet so brilliantly right! Nice work dude 👍

Just had my car apart, installed 968 TB's; 19mm adjustable sway, stiffened up the rear a lot. I installed a pair of Koni adjustable shocks as well. I ended up with 24.5" at the center of the wheel well on the rear.
On the front I installed H+R 250 lb springs, 968 sway bar and 240 Volvo calipers with street pads, I ended up with 25.5" on one side and 24.25" so I have more than an inch difference. I am thinking coil overs is the only way to get the front down to 24.5" on both sides. I live where there are mountain roads.
Glad to see the torsion bars re indexed, not as complicated as it is made out to be
