In my opinion I like it better when each character had their own all star. I know this team racing, but still though.
Or have character specific TEAM ultimates affecting you and your teammates, but the flair/effect varries on who activated it.
Missed oppurtunities but guess they focused on the mechanics more then the extra flair.

These themes sure are a big fanservice
So, no super forms are in this game? They had sonic and Shadow's super forms the Sega all stars racing.
It makes sense because all team members activate their Ultimates at the same time.
If there was all star moves like before, then that woulf be very unfair if your teammates activated it in the lead
@@daisukedoi9284 i did not know that it activates all 3 ultimates at the same time. I have not played this game yet.
@@daisukedoi9284 Would have been nice if the effects or abilities differed on who activated it. But guess that was either too complicated or they focused on the mechanics more then the ultimate move.
@@atteranenforcer5263 it would still be unfair because the team mates in the higher positions would have the advantage.
Also, there's no limit on how many characters can ignite ultimate as well, so multiple at one time might be redundant
@@daisukedoi9284 *shrug* Just saying. At least the aura/energy color should be different for every team. Don't have to change how it functions, just would be nice if there WAS something else.

Of course she does (if you played Sonic Rush before you know they took the best music for her theme).
She even has flames sprouting out of her vehicle. Her special stays true to how All Stars Racing would've had their 10/10 All Stars Moves.
Too bad EVERY character just has a boring boost now. Also Rouge sounds like a 13 year old spoiled girl with no cough drops in sight.
All their original themes were better. Amy's My Sweet Passion, Rouge's Fly in the Freedom, Shadow's Throw It All Away, and Metal Sonic's Bad Future Stardust Speedway.
I really wish that people would play this game online

This is not a sequel from the sega all stars, it started with tennis, continuing with racing, and then transformed

I miss the all-star moves in the first Sonic and sega all-star racing, they were more original
They Gave everyone amazing themes and Poor old Sonic gets Colours

I also love how Eggman just looks extremely excited to finally have an insane Speed boost
At least it gave y'all nostalgia like the tails theme from sonic all stars racing at least they gave you a chance to listen to some of the songs you liked 6 years ago reach for the stars and tails song are very good

Yeah I'm sad/pissed that we didn't get any DLC for this game. I would have loved another 2-3 tracks AND characters.

Cause people decided to shit on it before it came out b/c "I cAn"T trAnSfORm, DerP!".
As someone who has played hundreds of hours on both games, I can say that TSR is a better game in a lot of ways. The racing and strategy is a lot deeper. Transforming is a fun gimmick, but it doesn't add any layers to the game beneath the surface. The team aspect of TSR on the other hand adds a whole new dimension to racing that hasn't been done before. The only thing TSR really suffers from is not having as much content (tracks and racers) which could have been remedied with DLC if people had actually supported it like they should have.
@@SeanUCF people just want a remake of all stars racing that was better little bit but transformed won that battle against all stars racing but this game just didn't make anything diffrent except the music and they don't have a energetic commentator that hypes you up when starting a race

Actually the ultimate power from the first game was the best. Sonic and Shadow turned into their chaos emerald super versions.
I actually have this game I’m so good at it and if you search up Sonic reach for the stars you will see sonic coulors on it
Tbh this game feels chonky compared to transformed, cause cars here are slower so you have better control on them, in the transformed version speed was literally better

It's not all stars, the last all stars game was the transformed, this game is apart from them, we could get another all star, related to sports not necessarily cars

I'm a real silver fan
So all they do is move faster....
They act like ultimates in every other racer or a star in mario kart with the exception that the speed boost you get from an ultimate in TSR is off the charts. Becoming invincible and running into your opponents like you would with a star in Mario Kart is just the icing on the cake.
Imagine every single one activating the ult but each one having a different ult, like the previous sonic racing games, then it would be crazy
