I didn’t they’d stop giving Sonic Reach for the Stars, it’s a good song and all, but it’s the theme of the Wisps and of Sonic Colors, and I wish they’d bring back songs like His World and It Doesn’t Matter that capture Sonic’s personality much more accurately.

I like how Big's it barely different. You simply cannot improve on perfection.
Just 53 seconds of Lazy Days, the longest of any Ultimate.
Classic not to mention you know what they say consistency is key
Most of the Team Ultimate themes are minor alterations to the original song, mainly instrumentals. However Blaze is the exception with her theme (Vela Nova) basically being remixed from scratch.
Don't forget the chao as well

I now wish “We Can” (Team Sonic’s Theme in Heroes) was Sonic’s ultimate theme

You're right! I've never heard this remix before. The theme in TSR uses the instruments of SA2 but the tune of the STH one, interesting.
What about the one in sonic generations?
Sounds more like the one from Generations given how is way faster and barely any vocals

the fact they made sonic's ULTIMATE theme as reach for the stars could probably mean they were teasing sonic colors ultimate
it may not the intention but i thought it was a funny coincidence
It probably has more to do with Colors being one of the most popular games, and their being like 3 different tracks based on the game
Colors is TRASH
I'm thinking it's because Wisps are this game's items and Planet Wisp is the starting track. That said I wouldn't have given it to Sonic, I'd have saved it for if the roster got larger and we got Yacker as some kind of odd pick. Sonic has themes of his own and I think even the invincibility themes would've fit him more than Reach for the Stars here. '^^

Metal's theme is also known as Sonic Force's metal sonic theme
But it was originally from the US Sonic CD soundtrack, like it says in the video.
I like silver's team ultimate theme in the original version at 0.75
This ultimate theme of sonic is so cool it's from sonic colours and it's reach for the stars
All of these are super well done! Makes me want to be in last place just so I can hear the themes more.

Blaze, Silver (especially), and Metal Sonic's are the best in my opinion.
My favorite has to be Blaze's. Maybe its because i grew up with Sonic Rush, im not sure.

Probably because it's Sonics most iconic modern theme song. And Probably one of his best imo

All of the power class characters, Shadow, Metal Sonic, & Dr. Eggman have to be my favs. But if I had to pick 3, I gotta with Vector, Eggman, and Knuckles.
How does this make sense, Sonic's Team Ultimate: Reach for the Stars shouldn't his Team Ultimate been: His World from 06 or It Doesn't Matter from Adventure DX
Since this is a team-based game like Heroes, I think bringing over the invincibility theme from Heroes back from his Sega All Star Racing allstar theme would've also been a clever nod.
The fact that Blaze's is a whole new arrangement of Vela Nova, as well as how Metal's is not just Sonic 4's boss battle theme again like in Transformed, makes me think Sumo Digital knows and love this series, which makes me think either they're trying to be clever with Sonic here since Wisps are items in this game... or SEGA had a say in this somehow and that's why Sonic's is Reach for the Stars. I'm leaning towards the former because if so, that IS dang clever.
They always use the current theme song of the characters. And since the Meta Era Reach for The Stars is Sonic's Main Theme.
I feel like Shadow and Silver are the only ones have the songs from Sonic 06 and not Sonic :(
Sonic's theme in 06 is "his world" wich is a nice song but i think they picked "reach for the stars" because it represents modern sonic better, but even if they didn't use "reach for the stars" they would probably use "it doesn't matter" from sonic adventure 2

@@LuucasIckie I did it like this because All hail Shadow from 06 is more of a different version/arrangement from the one in StH. The metal sonic one though, the theme in forces is a straight remix from sonic CD.

Infinite, as bad as he was, he's the only other villain I can see willing to cooperate with Eggman and Metal canonically. Chaos is a "misunderstood" villain, Black Doom attempts to kill Eggman in Shadow the Hedgehog, I don't think Mephiles and Eggman have any relations with each others, Dark Gaia isn't willing to cooperate with anyone, and Zavok has turned on Eggman before. Also, Chip isn't a bad guy and Jet isn't canonically existent in the Sonic universe as Riders wasn't canon

I was dancing at blaze and rouge old one is was like sumba music and also each one sounds them same a bit but played different.
Big's Theme makes me think about White Knuckle Ride by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
