One of my FAVORITE memories when playing this game.
Jackie and Akira used their allstar and instead of me getting ran over the actually carried me to first place by pushing me.

SolidPilot I used to play this on Xbox Xbox version is way better than wii version in my opinion
@@itsbigtbigman_DaKing With the Wii version, there is 3 different playstyles. 1: Motion controls, which basically no one likes, 2: with the nunchuck attached, and 3: the SNES controller
there's something for every one on the Wii version

I remember me and my cousin used to play this on the Xbox 360 and I own a copy for PC as well, my cousin would always pick Ulala and I'd always go with Tails. It was just satisfying to use the All Star Move and have it announced on the track's commentary and end up in first place

Chris Dude deadass I used to play it with my cousins back when we were 5 but the disk copy broke so I bought my own last year and I still play it to this very day

This game is 14 years old and I genuinely still have way more fun with this game than Mario Kart 8. Both games are really fun though, but Sonic & Sega all stars racing has (all of this is my opinion) much better and more creative maps, the power ups feel more exciting to use, and you also don't get a power up every 5 seconds like you do in Mario Kart, so there's more strategy in the part where you actually race, every time you drive into something in this game the whole screen shakes which feels more realistic and fun, the all star mechanic is more fun than that power up that gives you 8 different item imo. Overall i just think this game is stronger than Mario Kart on most parts. Of course it is very heavily inspired by Mario Kart, and that is of course it's main source of inspiration, but still.
Fun Fact: For the people that didn’t know, Mario was going to be an addition for the Wii. Can’t imagine how Mario will look in this game

My favorite memory of this game is this one time I was racing as knuckles and he got hit by one of those stupid aim lock missels and the narrator goes “That’s a hard hit on knuckles” and knuckles just goes “sHUT UP” and I actually lost it laughing

1:23 with knuckles hold down the action button to make a big emerald, then release it to make a big shock wave. The longer you hold, the bigger impact you get.

And then you get pulled to an inevitable maraca line of death. His was always op in my opinion.
I think that Samba, the Bonanza Bros, Ryo Hazuki, and Opa Opa's all stand out a lot more than the rest. Samba starts a conga line, the Bonanza Bros casually bomb the track, Ryo just shows off that he's forklift certified, and Opa Opa literally gets to choose what he gets.
This game brings back old memories...When I played this game I turned off the item power ups and it made it better to play.
This is what team sonic racing shouuld of been. if they wanted to add more sonic characters they could of done that but to get rid of EVERY SEGA CHARACTER was beyond ridiculous and a step down from the great game that Transformed was
