Honestly I never find any Mario character all that bad or evil. Bowser seemingly just kidnaps Peach due to being in love and just to spite Mario and never really does anything too crazy like killing. There's something oddly cute with Metal Sonic and Bowser Jr.'s animation. I don't know if it's Metal Sonic stopping Bowser Jr.'s crazy jumping or the fact that he posed in sync with him, but I just wanna see more of them together. After all, they have quite a bit in common in terms of characters (both are enemies that have had games centered around them, they have both taken the role of main villain atleats once, both have technological knowledge, and both have iconic themes that have been remixed to hell and back).
