Loved that you also did a time-lapse of the building process and not just the painting. Always enjoy seeing how other people put big groups of stuff like this together.
Its one thing to start a crafting channel, but I always find it more impressive to launch a channel not in your native language. Its twice as impressive!! Wonderful job on the box and the minis! I sold the space marines, cards, and the book, 10 gaunts, and the winged primed. Should still be able to field 2 different kill teams with the tyranids, & 3 large monsters for DnD and the cost was less than 60 bucks. Cheers from Copenhagen!
Thank you so much! Most of the bad feedback I get is because I am not a native speaker, so I really appreciate your comment! I also thought about using the little dolphine like aliens for DnD, great as critters!
Tobi! He's only gone and done it, combat patrol is looking great! I'm about to embark on my own Leviathan box big paint, hope it goes as well as yours!
Right 😂 Programming the clock was a nightmare, so I didn't care about the year setting... or maybe I took the box back in time and did the challenge 23 years ago 😬
3:30 - I know that it has been a long time since this video came out, but do you know where I might be able to find the STLs or resin bits that were used for the basing here? Miniquest 64's page doesn't seem to have any leads and I'm having a hard time finding the exact thing that you used here. Cheers!
Oh hi! The STL set was like underwater themed. Like corals and stuff. I hope the link works: www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-atlantis-essentials-pre-supported-276333 It’s called Atlantis essentials pre supported
Would you be willing to share a link to that clock? I see it in a lot of these 24 hour challenge videos and I think it would be fun to have a go at it for my own experience.
I actually burrowed it from MiniQuest64 and I wouldn't recommend the one I used. I am sure there are better ones ... Clocks that are easier to setup and 'program'
Great job. Do yourself a favour and switch to alcohol based paints for the airbrush like tamiya. 10ml jar + 2ml thinner and they spray perfectly and dry almost instantly have have a much highter pigment content. You could have done all your aurbrushing in 1 - 1.5 hours.
Start's the challenge, panic sets in instantly... This is going to be good :D Go Tobi!!!
Love watching these challenges. Great idea to break it into 3 chunks. My Leviathan Tyranids are only built, no paint yet!
I massively underestimated the work that needed to be done to build all the models. I guess the marines will take even more time 😅
Loved that you also did a time-lapse of the building process and not just the painting. Always enjoy seeing how other people put big groups of stuff like this together.
Exactly, I think that when doing these challenges, that's an important part because it takes up so much time and should not be underestimated.

@@Paint_Quest You sound great to me. Good video, and it looks like you have at least a couple other videos I'm adding to my playlist. Sub earned.
Amazing quality in so little amount of time, I´m really impressed :)
Excellent work
Klasse Video. Interessante Wahl der Farben!
Wow! Very cool speed paint!
Great job!
The algorithm brought me to you, the fun video made me want to stay and subscribe! Great work!
Beautiful colour scheme well described. Thanks Tobi. Liked and such scribed, I am looking forward to seeing the others😀
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing 😊
I think a really cool hive fleet name would be hive fleet mammoth as its a synonym of leviathan>
Good suggestion, I'll take "Mammoth" to the poll coming up on the yt-community page
Great job! I did a similar base colour but used the rattle can which looks to have been a lot easier than AB. Bad luck re weather.
Looks great! Love the time lapse:)
Thank you! There is another one in the works … let’s hope it turns out as nice as this one 😇
They are without number!

I Hope you make a video about it!
@@Paint_Quest oh you know it 😀
interesting paint scheme and great execution.
11:51 time traveller confirmed! I was also painting nids in the yesr 2000 😂
15:20 jumping back in time even further, that’s amazing!
Right 😂 Programming the clock was a nightmare, so I didn't care about the year setting... or maybe I took the box back in time and did the challenge 23 years ago 😬
As always, your channel deserves more attention.
Thanks max! You knows, maybe RUclips will pick this one up and spread it more than usual

Im not sure what is more impressive
holding this video 23 years on your drive or having Leviathan back in 2000
The power of time travel is not to be underestimated 😎
Clogging can occur because of "paint bogies". Acrylic has a habit of drying on bottle edges/sides and accumulating on inside of bottle.
This was a nice video, thanks for sharing!
Amazing! That was one weird thunderstorm, greetings from a Dutch Neighbor 😊
Super Video, Tobias!
Loved the color scheme!
Thanks! And it’s fast as well 😊

Great job! But I would have loved it if you at least included either of the two big bugs to show of your scheme on a larger model.
I would have loved to, but time ran out 😅
Nice colour scheme - got a few good ideas there - hope you dont mind if I borrow!!?
Sure, glad people like the color scheme!
Do you add paint via a tea strainer? Stops lumps causing clogs in the air brush
That works?

Thanks for the tip! That's the biggest learning of this project. I'll give them a try!
Wow class!! Also what lamp are you using while painting ?
Its the Neatfi XL 2,200 Lumens LED Table Lamp
Hive fleet typhus
It took me two days just to assemble them 😂
Then you are pretty much the same speed as me, I didn’t assemble the marines … yet
@@Paint_Quest I was talking about the tyrannids
Ik this is really late but there shouldn’t be 4 barbgaunts.
The fifth one was a test model to try the paint scheme. That’s the reason only 4 were painted in the video
you are german i am sure haha
