I highly recommend grabbing some popcorn or pickles or candy (or in my case all three), hunkering down and watching the Nidarosdomen concert all the way through. It’s the most epic live performance ever. Her, the choir, the orchestra, the lighting and sound are incredible. It’s a must watch.

One of the things i appreciate most about this song is the part where she sings in a different language. Its actually a language that she created and is hopefully releasing at some point. She had said in an interview I believe that she added that part in as a way for whoever is listening to come up with their own feelings/emotions for that part, give it your own meaning. The song is about losing past friendships and relationships. It has helped me so much in my life.
I appreciate that you are going with the less popular Aurora songs. People tend to react to the same 5 songs (and they are all great), but there are so many sides to Aurora. I feel like they often get overlooked in favor for the more mainstream songs.
Yes, her facial expressions, her total body movement, they are all an extensions of her music, she is the music. She is my favorite artist, she is artistry, there is no one like her, IMO. Nice reaction.

Or I had been painting it for a while, but I didn't show it to anyone before I realized this would be a perfect fit. I had to paint in-between festival shows, and every time I came home again the painting still hadn't dried off, so I could continue like no time had ever passed. It was a beautiful time-pocket for me. Still feeling the touch from the people of the past." You'll probably want to checkout her KEXP Iceland live performance at some point. Most fans will probably list that as the one they've watched the most and for good reason. One of her most wild / fun / charming live performances ever. it includes Churchyard, Gentle Earthquakes, All Is Soft Inside, Runaway, Forgotten Love, Queendom .
Agreed. I like this one, but the first one was more energetic, and the audience added a lot to the experience. Aurora was clearly enjoying herself that night. I watch it on a regular basis, and struggle stopping after just track (I sometimes plan on just watching "Churchyard") 😄

Her movements are free, but one can tell she has had ballet and contemporary dance training :) I think in her recent live stuff she shows off more of it then ever before. Check any of her songs on the KEXP live version. It's live but not accoustic. Closer to the original song. She has a lot of energy and is captivating to watch. Though some songs are better just her and a guitariste, like murder 5 4 3 2 1 and It Happened Quiet.
