    Hi! For small parts on other projects, I use cheap lighter's parts (Bic), and old electric devices, like interruptors, and HP printers springs, and men telescopic small umbrellas, that here break easily, and I use the tubes and springs (these springs work very good in airsoft 1911s slides)

    Nice! If you decide to make any more guns, you should use World Of Guns as a 3D model reference. It allows you to disassemble every part of the gun, down to the pins and screws. Although it won't give you schematics, it is a good reference to use.

    hey! I`m wondering what material did you use to make these parts? I know the title said paper but it too thick to be paper right? If it is paper can you explain how you got it to be so thick and strong?

    Hey I saw you said to get the size right just measure it with calipers and get it right on the on screen and trace it. But my hand shakes while tracing is that going to make it in accurate?

    • @SheldenCaudill
      @SheldenCaudill  6 лет назад

      I have the same problem sometimes. Usually I trace it lightly on the screen and then I take it off to trace the lines darker with a ruler.

    • @SheldenCaudill
      @SheldenCaudill  6 лет назад

      I just used a blueprint from a google search lol. If you type in M1911 A1 blueprint in google, it should be like the first pdf file.

      Shelden Caudill how about your hidden blades and other projects?

    • @SheldenCaudill
      @SheldenCaudill  6 лет назад

      I just drew those out. You can also use sketchup which is kind of like a blueprint making software.

      Thanks for the comments! Yes I use both types of glue. I use Elmer's glue to make 16 layer pieces. Then I glue the 16 layer pieces together with super glue.

    • @tbkustomknives8907
      @tbkustomknives8907 6 лет назад

      Shelden Caudill would PARFIX PVA wood glue work just as well as Elmer’s glue all

    • @tbkustomknives8907
      @tbkustomknives8907 6 лет назад

      Shelden Caudill would I be able to use PARFIX WOOD GLUE for this and would it be as good as glue all

    can you help me get the blueprint to the correct size please?

    • @SheldenCaudill
      @SheldenCaudill  6 лет назад

      Sometimes it's just easier to get it to the right size on your screen and then just trace it onto a sheet of paper.
