Just watched Copenhagen half and you were there finishing, 1.22.15. as in time of video !!! its good coverage of the race, and they had just filmed the first three women and then the camera panned back to the finish and you came storming through in bright orange, great shot !!!

Well done Ben! You weren’t even planning on a new pb! Keep up the good work! Question, how do your half and full marathon recovery differ from what you do during track season?

I thought it would be very difficult given the 3 week gap between the end of track and the race but I gave it everything in training and most importantly made sure I was fresh for race day! Track races for me take 3/4 days before I can shake the fatigue. All out road races like this half take a little longer. 10 days of easy running and usually I start to bounce back and can continue to build from then. I really had to dig deep in the one and my legs certainly have felt that 😂

I’m 5ft9 and 63kg :) I’m also 25 and was a sub 17 runner about a year and a half ago to give you an idea of my progress. Stay consistent and you’ll be blown away by the progress :)
