We were approached by a client who works in the biomedical and environmental industries. They had a sustainability concern. They wanted the ability to print in color and label on demand. They wanted to label pharmaceutical bottles of various sizes and shapes. They needed a unique system combining Print & Apply wrap-around and three-panel labeling. Once implemented, this system will revolutionize their operations.
In this application, bottles are conveyed into the system. Instead of the typical thermal transfer system, color labels are printed in-line. The system utilizes a wrap belt to label their cylindrical products and crash gates to label their square products.
