Well done, Nick. I think it is crazy how even though a grand jury said they should be indicted; they never were. It makes me sick how those with power, money, & privilege can get away with the things they do. You know if this happened to a family without that they most certainly would have been put on trial. So many issues with this case that point to staging & covering up. I think Jon Benet’s death wasn’t intentional but an accident. They covered it up to protect their family name & reputation.

I can picture John, the CEO, going to see the DA when given the special courtesy of being told he and Patsy we’re going to be indicted, and laying out a case for sparing their and their sons ruination. “He’s only nine. He did not mean it. This will kill my wife, both children taken from her, it will destroy my business.” He pleaded for mercy, as the parent of a dead child, and got it. It was the right decision, in my book, to grant this mercy. Where would they even hold such a young boy for almost a decade away from any normal upbringing and love? In juvenile detention in solitary, to protect him from troubled teens? What would that accomplish except to make him more troubled, John would plead.

Burke for his Nintendo 64 and JB got her bike. But I don’t think things were equal. Burke says in his interview I know how she was killed and makes overhead stabbing motions. So I believe one of family members smashed JB over the head with a MagLite probably Burke, but Jon had been SAing JB and needed to cover that up so he took the broken off paint brush and mutilated JB in an attempt to cover his SA crimes

I live in Northern NJ and I was a private math tutor for HS & college students for many, many years. I tutored at homes of people connected to “Housewives of NJ” (never watched the show but I think we all have an idea of what it’s like)… now, just imagine the types of homes I was going into, yet, some of these people have these seemingly beautiful mansion style homes… But, (not anyone that was ever on the show), a few of my clients’ homes were beautiful from the outside and trash tornados on the inside… I wonder what that says about their life… the perfect image presented to others, yet the day-to-day activities and relationships are riddled with disorder and chaos-just a facade of beauty and glamour, distracting from the dysfunction going on within. Dog poo & urine all over the house, nasty & smelly next to the dining table, on rugs, in the doorway… pets weren’t taken care of, matted, dirty hair/fur… old food, dishes, sweaty, filthy sports attire on the floor, table, doors, and chairs... Chairs were broken, it was risky sitting on them.. expensive collectibles knocked I we and covered in dust… I imagine that’s what the Ramsey house was like. I don’t think John grew up like that, but I bet Patsy did.
One nice thing I can say about one family that comes to mind from my experience… The parents always seemed to attend all of their kids’ sporting events or school events and they spent a lot of time with them outside in the yard throwing a ball around.. they appeared to know what was going on in their kids’ lives & have a close relationship, but I know not everything is what it seems… Especially considering what their house looked like.

FAO Schwarts was a prime spot to get a very hard to find recently released game console. The N64.
The child who got this game console would be the first to share the different stages of Super Mario World when going back to school after Christmas Break. Its bragging rights stuff.
It's the type of present that creates conflicts in homes.
Its the type of present kids would stay awake and play after parents go to sleep.
Its the type of present you wouldn't want anyone to touch with sticky fingers.
Its the type of present youd want connected to the biggest TV in the house.
Its the type of present you'd lock your door to play so you can be undisturbed.
And you know what? Its a present that should be an alabi for a 10 year old, but is rarely mentioned.

Excess in everything, that keeping up with the Jones's tenet was very difficult to fight in the suburbs. I'd imagine that the upper middle class enclave they lived in it was even worse. But she obviously liked to entertain ( something people don't do anymore unless it's just for family). And she had a talent for it. Who knows what really happened that night but it changed that safe feeling you have in the burbs for a long time. Beauty contests for children were put on hold or cancelled altogether. I don’t mean this to sound cold hearted or as if I in any way I condone this gross behavior but JonBenet was a beautiful young girl that could look much older than 6 when she was made up. I think the Ramsey’s made a lot of money off her by giving her up to these sickos & I’d be willing to bet it wasn’t the money they wanted since John was already a billionaire. It was the promise of fame in the entertainment avenue Patsy wanted for JonBenet since that is what Patsy craved the most.

I like John’s theory on the jealousy. Patsy was flashy in a small community although it’s a university town, it had plenty of people without money I bet. It had plenty of strange transients as places like that always do. She opened the doors to anyone and gave out loads of keys. I’m careful with my keys and I don’t give them out to guys who, for all I know, could have criminal records eg the carpenter or painter. That was their error. Jealousy and access to the house explain this crime

    • @peternolan4107

No. It happened within the family. No kidnapper or anyone else would break into a house, kill a child, and then write an absurdly long "ransom" note.
If it makes you feel better thinking it was someone from "out there," be my guest. Everything points to it having happened within the family. Plus Patsy and John Ramsey are two of the phoniest people I have ever listened to.

Chilling. There were quite a few people there and she had 18 bullets. How very very scary. Linda also said that there was evidence of ongoing sexual abuse of Jon Benet. I don't know how they tell that but it's awful. Patsy won a state title but shows no pageant training at all. She looks deadset into cameras, has very poor posture, & does not articulate well. Her sister was older and even less impressive that she when she won. I'm sure the girls were taunted with rumors of daddy buying the titles for his girls. Pageantry in the southern states is highly competitive and Patsy absolutely does not demonstrate the goods. But, with JonBenet, she can train a formidable pageant winner and stick it to all her doubters. She acts like she is desperate to shake that reputation and prove she actually earned her pageant title and the title of perfect homemaker.
Also, she met John in 78 when he was still married and married him in 80. eeks

So what was found first, the ransom note or Jonbenets' body? I always wondered what the significance was of the ransom note and why it was written if there was no kidnapping 🤔
Was it to make it look like someone intended on kidnapping her, but killed her instead? If there was no ransom note, would the family automatically come under suspicion, so it had to be "staged" 🤔
If the ransom note was found first, then on arrival the police checked the property and didn't find Jonbenet, wouldn't it be assumed that she had indeed been taken?
My question is why then did her dad go to have a look and check where the police obviously hadn't, because didn't he find Jonbenet? Or am I wrong on that?
If he did find her, how did he know she would be there?🤔
Are law enforcement waiting for John Ramsey to die and then say they are no longer looking into the case, because he is a person of interest but they just have no proof?
