In the letter of the law it is not a yellow. He didn't "kick it away", he didn't "delay the restart". the brighton player kicked the ball into the back of Rice as he was walking away from the foul, already a couple of yards from the spot of the foul, and then the brighton player tried to kick a moving ball to "restart". DISGRACE.
I think the ref had real intention to send off Rice. Apart from that I'm getting skeptical of these Arsenal players especially considering them title contenders. Declan Rice in the first place should have avoided both fouls esp. the 1st one as it was ill timed; it isn't the nature of Rice as we saw last year and a concern for me as it may indicate a drop in performance. Odeegard had the clear chance to score for the 2nd time in consecutive games including last week against villa. Saka was also missing clearcut chances. If they are not using chances where would the goals come from especially for a team having no clinical striker like Arsenal? Anyways it is so upsetting fr many reasons.
All who feel that the refs decision was fair, should wait for their own turn an see how they like it. When Arteta first complained against refs decisions, he almost got eaten alive, it eventually started happening to other clubs like Liverpool and Wolves, i think its high time that all clubs came together regardless of our differences to call on PGMOL and the FA and refs to ensure that strict punishment and actions are taken against such refs otherwise all clubs in the Premier League will become victims of this mess!
Chris Cavanagh looks like a space cadet he probably doesn’t know what he’s doing. He looks like he has lazy eyes!!. Name me one decent ref in the premier league now?.
It’s the job of players to attempt to stretch the rules of the game to their benefit .. that’s how sports works, always has, always will. But now we have instances where referees are stretching the rules of the game so they personally can be the centre of attention. Atrocious officiating, not just in the moment of the red card, but for the entire match.
Havertz has many great skills and does score quite often (in a very strong team that makes lots of chances), but he nevertheless also often misses good chances (often ones created by his own cleverness) with tame shots, and that could prove costly in a close-fought title race. Arsenal should've signed Toney instead of Sterling, and played Havertz more often as an AM/SS.

If they had scored two or three of the chances, no one would be talking about Rice’s second yellow card. Brighton played well, draw a good result. Arsenal should have done better.

Where was Rice kicking the moving ball away from? The Brighton defender literally kicked the ball at him, striking Rice on the back of the leg. Therefore, the Brighton defender could be booked for delaying the restart…
DISGRACE.
*REFS DONT KNOW THE RULES IN 2024 LOL 💙UP THE CHELS💙*
🥲
The letter of the law cannot be applied on Rice’s ”kick” if the ball since it wasn’t placed in the correct spot.
You are totally right…. I agree with u entirely
Chelsea reject Donkey Havertz nicking £330k pw is still proving me wrong
Priceless 😅
There is a conscious bias against Arsenal I have seen it over the years either they get the worst referees or they get ones who are told to cheat them
One more thing, who believes the same yellow&red card would happen to foden, rodri , kdb et al in a city game? Lol
i like how u speak.
Well he didn't dive much today. Makes a change.😅
😢
It’s the job of players to attempt to stretch the rules of the game to their benefit .. that’s how sports works, always has, always will. But now we have instances where referees are stretching the rules of the game so they personally can be the centre of attention.
Atrocious officiating, not just in the moment of the red card, but for the entire match.
100million DM not a 1M DM........... enough said..
ffs it is a yellow
Absolutely insane refereeing
We are all being done by these useless referee's. They have the teams they don't like .and its becoming so obvious that they are biased .
Toney doesn’t score many either. Look at his scoring record (without pens)
Alice stas preciosa con esa camiseta saludo Super cordial ❤❤❤
Your gorgeous 😍
I feel like the joao pedro one is different given the multi ball system, when declan rice tapped the ball away as veltman was "taking" the free kick
There might be issues with nano-particle carbon absorbed through the dermis crossing the blood-brain barrier and causing mental problems. Extremely wealthy soccer players seem to be a bit lost and are anxious to show their money doesn't make them soft. Tattooing-my-skin-for-counterfeit-individuality cf. tattooing of the heart, isn't a good fashion. I think it's over now.
Correct, they were robbed by their own midfield not reacting to the through ball by Dunk. The Rice sending off did not cause the goal.
🙄
Not Robbed
Rice kicked the ball away it's his fault
Not robbed. Rules
Double standard rules
Lmao people blaming the ref when Rice more than deserved it with that stupidity. Double yellow was more than justified. Want to be angry be angry at Rice for acting like a clown whilst on a yellow.
Rice didn’t just kick the ball he then caused a commotion disrupting the game by trying to milk a yellow against brighton by flopping around. Play silly games win silly prizes.
Nooooo don't be one of those stupid channels with "Arsenal robbed" in your title. I thought you was better than that... Robbed my bum cheeks, Rice was an idiot and Arsenal was not good enough. Simple as that.
It’s common sense mate. Jog on.
The fact that you are supporting poor officiating just because it was against a team you don't like is pathetic.
Robbed how? Was a deserved second yellow.
consistency?.....
@@dereklewis3471 Every time a player kicks a ball away he gets a yellow. Has been the case for years.
@@InstigatorDJ the rule has but not the execution. It was defi a yellow though
@@InstigatorDJ ok so when Jao Pedro kicked the ball away ??? Please explain...
This show how ridiculous n sometimes how terrible this EPL refeeres r till now....every season they said they will improve n make changes but is always the same BS every season.
It was a clear 2nd yellow and just because its England player Declan Rice everyone is making excuses. He's a dumbass for doing that on a 2nd yellow.
Ok but what about Consistency?
Arsenal fans blaming the ref instead of accepting their team were pathetic is why nobody rates you.
Ref was poor you just don't like Arsenal
The Rice was under cooked. Kick the ball out of play. After a foul. Dirty tactic, got done by the ref. Sent off. Justified. Season over.
Rice forced the refs hand by flopping. He was looking for a yellow & got a 2nd himself. 100mill & you feel the need to resort to this sort of garbage at home? That is small minded, and not a good look for Arsenal. Arteta better sort his boys.
I havent seen the 1st yellow card but the 2nd was defo a yellow. Get on with it and stop moaning
It's the inconsistency that most of us are angry about. When Havertz got choked, it was easily dismissed yet this issue was interpreted to the letter of the law instead of common sense playing a factor
Alice think your great buttttt. If you’re going to comment on other teams leave ushited out of it, you have your chance tomorrow girl. It was a sending off Look at the hand ball last season Arsenal got away with that against Liverpool. Swings and roundabouts Alice. Big game tomorrow. Come onnn you red men. Hate to admit it but worried tomorrow Lfc forever:)
Lmao Liverpool was getting bullied by Manchester United and had to be given an unfair penalty just to secure a draw 😂😂😂
obvious yellow
Stickney breaking 🥥 mate
An early season BS call costing a win,…. Seems familiar as a LFC supporter.
arteta out lol
Arsenal not robbed, got what they deserved.
Rice was on a yellow card, Veltman knows this, he also knows the long pass is to nobody.
Rice gets sucked in, Rice does nick the ball away and to the letter of the law that is a yellow card.
You could say that Veltman played the Ref, but it was Rice that made the tackle.
Arsenal will go on and on how the were robbed, instead of thinking how did we not score more goals. If they had scored two or three of the chances, no one would be talking about Rice’s second yellow card.
Brighton played well, draw a good result. Arsenal should have done better.
Even if we had won that game people would still be talking about the red card. Now rice is out for the next game as well, which just so happens to be the NLD.
@@jigmewangchuk4085 the thing is the risk Rice took didn’t value the reward.
It was clear Veltman long pass was going no where.
Plus being on a Yellow card he should be held back.
Rice missing the next game NLD will show if Arsenal have a plan B without Rice.
Brighton look a real good side TBF definitely top 6 challenge manager is biggest unknown to them.
They are going to bottle it as usual😂😂😂 COYS🎉
@@fitzjafaru7107 At least they get close enough to even bottle it...mind the gap
ur gonna be in tears in two weeks m8 T-T
Gooners need to stop crying. That was absolutely a second yellow and it was dumb of Rice to even attempt it while already in the book. But, Veltman should also have got a card and disgraceful that he didn't.
So we are crying for asking for exactly the same thing that you said.
@@throesturthrainsson7616 If that were just what Arsenal fans were moaning about, I'd have no issue. But it's not. All of you from Arteta down with his "I didn't see him kick it" nonsense have tried to deny Rice deserved his 2nd yellow.
@@emisat8970 I think majority of Arsenal fans are not complaining about the card but how it comes about and how other cases are not treated same way. Few facts 1. The ball was moving and therefore the free kick cannot be taken. 2. Everyone that understand football knows that the Brighton player is trying to get Rice sent off by pretending to take a free kick with moving ball. 3. If you want to give a yellow card for this then you have to do it always because this was the smallest touch possible from Rice and therefore almost all other cases will be more serious. (Guess what it won’t happen.
Same old arsenal but i wish my Chelsea can defend and score as them.
Have you bought Todd boehlys shares then? Are you going to change the insane transfer policy? 🤣
Not robbed at all, Rice deserved both yellows!
The game was changed by Rice committing two bookable offences, it's as simple as that.
