The marine layer is at it again, north of Sunset Blvd in Pacific Palisades is all sunshine and blue skies, while south of Sunset Blvd is all dreary marine layer. On top of less-than-optimal weather my camera battery is dying, so it’s a scattered race against the clock…
This trip starts exiting Will Rogers State Park with a turn West onto Sunset Blvd (02:00). From Sunset Blvd we cut through Palisades Village via N Swarthmore Ave (05:25) and cruise North of Sunset before entering the gloomy South of Sunset (13:15) which is followed by more cruising the neighborhood until my battery died.
The Bridges House, which is anchored in place by three massive poured-in-place towers lift the iconic modernist L.A. landmark over Rustic Canyon. Natural materials and continuous windows temper the concrete and light the interior with treetop and hillside views. The Bridges House can be seen front and back at (02:30) and (12:22).

I live in Indiana I am always amazed by how clean that area is I am sure there are rough areas. But it's nothing like here.

Pacific Palisades is generally nice, as for the rest of LA it’s just like most any other city, with good neighborhoods and bad neighborhoods and a lot kinda in the middle. It’s far from perfect here but it’s nowhere near the doom and gloom some RUclips channels like to push.
