Ryan quit RUclips the right way. No huge controversy. No overdramatic drawn out goodbye. Just slowed down his content to ease his fans into it. Truly a legend of RUclips
To me, Ryan Higa rode off into the sunset. He made his impact on RUclips and he knew when it was time to finish. For a moment, he was the undisputed king of RUclips. Good times.
I will never unsubscribe from Nigahiga’s channel, even though he no longer makes videos. He was my childhood and I still go back on his channel to watch his old videos! 😭😭
This dude is a legend and isn’t talked about enough. Such a pivotal part of RUclips history and it makes me sad most of the kids won’t ever know who he is and how amazing he is. Thanks for the memories Ryan.
@@reginalddwight6192 most kids don’t know about Ryan and even if they did, because he doesn’t upload they don’t care to look up his videos from years ago.
When I think quality content, no one put in as much effort as Ryan back in the day. Just the sheer amount of work he and his team put into each video was crazy, anything stop motion was incredible (shout out to Greg)
Watching the BTS after each main channel video was sm fun, they were working with so little yet did so much and uppped his quality, but it felt like you were there with them on "set" even tho the set is just Ryans house
Ryan, Sean, Kev Jumba, D-trix and Victor Kim not only formed a part of my childhood - they were there at every step of my growing up (until each of their departures). I watched them RELIGIOUSLY, they were my get-away from anything and everything. This was back when I was 9/10/11... I'm literally 23 now... I genuinely don't think I'll be satisfied until I meet them, they feel like extended family at this point

Ryan came to the platform very early, had his fame, never got into trouble or had any controversies, and then quietly left without making a huge deal. That's the equivalent of a fulfilling lifetime for a channel. Thank you for making gracing us with your content Ryan, it's been a blast.
hes doing a podcast now which is kinda boring like 98% of all podcasts in my opinion. I want him to produce for films or something. I think he still has a lot to offer and he's genuinely pretty good at writing so I bet he can probably get a good start doing short films or something.
Ryan will forever be the best youtuber to walk this planet, in my humble opinion. His videos literally defined my elementary/high school years. Miss his content, but glad he went out the way he did.
God Smosh was my childhood. Their content hasn’t been the same for years now especially after Anthony left. Kind of feel like they should’ve bowed out long time ago
The fact that his videos are rewatchable and never get old is proof that he was ahead of his time. He's one of my biggest childhood heroes, and I'm 100% sure he's one of the people who influenced my sense of humor and helped me realize the more optimistic parts of life. As much as I miss RHPC and sad that they disbanded, I'm happy that they're all enjoying their own personal lives :))
ahead of its time? any of his content to this day is still unrivalled, there is no one today or ever that has done anything remotely close to what ryan has accomplished, his content is one of a kind
Great video. Ryan is a legend and he deserves more praise. No controversy, no vulgarity, nothing awful. Just pure, fun, great content that had a lot of hard work put into it. Definitely a big part of my childhood and humor
As sad as it is, it’s good that Ryan and Sean moved on. We literally grew up with these guys. Good for them for being happy and living life how they want.

Even during the peak days of RUclips drama he never took part in it. Not even a little bit. His style of comedy had and still has a HUGE impact on social media today, with my content and many other content creators as well. Always stayed wholesome, and has (in my opinion) one of the coolest friend groups. One of the very few who genuinely deserve the title of Legend.
Social media culture is garbage. The peak days of RUclips were before monetization. Google brought all the frauds and sell outs to this place. Get a real job.
@@rmc3728 the answer is quite simple. because i can see, feel, touch, hear, and heck even eat the creator of GTA lol. i can interact with them. theyre not imaginary. they exist.
It's sad that this happened to Ryan and the team, when Ryan was making his content life felt pretty good to be honest, now it's like the whole RUclips thing has just fallen apart for so many creators that made our childhood! I hope we get to see Ryan rise again!
@@BlackGirlLovesAnime6 yea i know i have notifications on because i used to watch parkourse, cooking but not really, and all the little games and bts i miss it
Ryan and Sean are the reason I even discovered RUclips back in 07 with their “How To” videos. I was 11 back then, now I’m 27. Definitely glad I got to see these guys entire career arc on this site play out in real time, it was a treasure 💯
Grew up watching Nigahiga since the Ninja episodes (as they came out). Man I miss how much fun RUclips was back then instead of the monetization first mentality that creators bring these days.
Having to cater to the algorithm really takes so much of the drive and fun out of RUclips. I’ve felt it with just my small amount of subs and views. So it’s probably way more noticeable and disheartening to large old channels like Ryan’s.
Yeah I really hate how it's always the best creators that made content that didn't cater to the algorithm die out. It makes me so sad because it's like, catering to the algorithm shouldn't be the main focus of RUclips. I feel like it kills creativity, because it gets to a point to where you have to follow trends to be able to sustain your channel growth, rather than just creating whatever fun videos that you want. Creators like Nigahiga deserve so much better, because they actually create creative content that should be treated better.
Ryan and RHPC was and will forever be the backbone of my childhood. I once wrote an entire 15 page about him in a class project about our most influential role model in 6th grade. I'm in my 2nd year of college right now and it's crazy to see how much time has passed. It's sad because the next generations and the generations after that might never get to experience the same adventure we had with Ryan. If reincarnation exists, I hope I get born into a world with Ryan and RHPC.
It makes me sad that much like us, the RUclipsrs we love grow up and change. We lose the love we had for them as kids and they lose their passion for what they make. It’s not surprising and the same thing will happen for kids now discovering their favorite RUclipsrs, im just glad these legends made me smile on my darkest days. And hopefully we did the same of them in our support when they were active
I'm a couple years older than Ryan, but he will always be a memorable part of my young adulthood. I watched him all throughout college and, when I became disabled in my early twenties, his content was one of the few things that helped me through intractable depression. I just thought of him fondly today and did a search on RUclips and came across this video. I'm glad to see he has people who still appreciate the value he created.
It’s sad to see him stray away from RUclips. He was a big part of my childhood. I remember coming from elementary school and watching his videos. I hope he finds his happiness.
I genuinely hold Ryan to the same level that I hold Steve from Blue's Clues. They both had an impact on a specific part of my life. They both genuinely seem like good people. I was heartbroken when both of them "stopped" what they were doing, despite the fact that they both exited gracefully. I think both of them seem like genuinely nice people. And I'm always happy to see them whenever they pop back up in my life, even as an adult.
Getting older is really something. Its been a pleasure growing up with content creators like this and I cant lie, I really do miss those great days on youtube.
Ryan explained it during one of his twitch streams. Streaming is decent money, he can be himself, and it's easier. In his videos, he's a caricature, not himself. Now, he just streams whenever he feels like it and he doesn't need to spend weeks coming up with ideas, scripts, filming, post-production.
@@tristen_grant I feel like streaming kills RUclips content in a lot of ways. Not trying to call RUclipsrs lazy but it’s a decent bit less effort to stream considering the lack of editing in post, and it’s also probably better money on top of it. I might be wrong but I’ve noticed how many content creators have focused less on videos and more on streaming, and some have a RUclips channel that’s completely just streaming clips.
@@quetailion6762 Streaming consistently is still a whooolllee lot of work, and RUclips videos of his quality and consistency can be really mentally taxing to make, so honestly good for him for putting his own health in front!
One of the smartest most creative people on the platform. This guy has literally kept his hands clean from any controversy and drama for his entire RUclips career. When paco did his thing, he was immediately axed and Ryan made his stance on the matter pretty clear.
Really? I seem to recall some very racist comments he made back in the day. Example: ruclips.net/video/AMYfEgskGm4/видео.html Also, he's apparently made anti-BLM comments according to someone else (I'm not familiar with that myself). He's a racist. Just managed to escape controversy somehow, possibly because he's not white.
For some, it may be Pewdiepie, for some, it may be jacksepticeye, but for me, it was nigahiga that created my childhood and was at one point my main source of comedy. He is a true legend and I’m glad he found a point in life where he is happy
By far one of my favorite creators to date. And he seems happy playing games and streaming now. The guy was just so mellow and genuine as he is funny. I still find my self binging the videos every year or so. He for sure made some great videos that definitely influenced me. Shoutout to Ryan for real
He might be the goat of RUclips. Flawlessly executed career, infectiously funny and clever content, a genuine love for his friends and fans. Man, you don’t know what you got till it’s gone!
Nigahiga was my go to channel for a good decade for whenever I was feeling down and needed a quick laugh. I will always be grateful for the content Ryan and his team put out, and the amount of effort they put into every video.
I remember watching Ryan in 2014 with my cousins. His videos never failed to make me laugh and I never found any of them controversial. It's rare to find creators like him. Those were the days man...
I really missed Sean in the videos. It was like a part of the channel left with him. It's not only how iconic he was, but his relation with Ryan in the videos were part of the chemistry.
I grew up watching this guy, also being a child with a high level of ADHD and this man was so important not just in mine, but SO MANY other people's lives simply for being the online personality that he was. I like to think of myself as his Frankenstein, as I adapted(obviously not nearly as perfect) into his way with words and sense of humor. I miss him so much and it's sad that he isn't remembered as much as he deserves to be.
ADHD? LOL you were just a child who like to play not stay one sitting. I was same way but I’m not labeling myself. I was fun kid. Just stop using the labels. You had normal child hood. Ur parents don’t want to think that u were bad child so had to labeled uou that lol
I really miss those days. Life was good, school was good, watching Ryan Higa videos with friends was good. Glad I could relate and grow up with him. Thank you!
I feel for Ryan, just yesterday I found out that one of my friends sexually assaulted somebody and I had to kick him out (he was sleeping on my couch) because that goes against everything I believe in and isn’t something I want to associate with. It’s a tough situation to be in, but ultimately following your morals is the right thing to do
You did the right thing. Assuming you knew they did it and it was quite serious. Small offenses should be discussed and then set up an ultimatum (consequence). I feel as though you thought of this and did the right thing for you and your family.
I knew all of this (as I was going through his socials, trying to figure out if he still posts videos) but I still got emotional. I feel like I grew up with Ryan and it really broke my heart when he said he wasn't happy. I'm just glad he seems to be doing well these days. Great video!
I'm glad that he's still around but in a small format like Pewds. No one will be able to be on top of the mountain forever. And there's a time where one says, Alright I've been up here long enough. Time to retreat and relax.
Heyo! Awesome seeing the video I edited for Ryan show up on this video. As someone who is currently editing stream highlights for him on a weekly basis, I was so stoked when I was told that I'm going to work on his videos. He is one of my favorite RUclipsrs of all time, my childhood will not be complete without his old videos. It has been a blast editing his content, a lot of awesome moments happened on stream, and I'm sure chat agrees ❤
@@arikirino Sad to hear. Though just from what I remember of Ryan, he seems like a very outgoing guy. If you email him (if you want to of course, it's not my place to tell you what to do or not to) he'd probably respond
i hope you are able to tell him or at least pass the message that we hope he's doing well, take care of himself and thank him for raising a whole generation.
I miss him. He mentioned early on that he has ADHD, and I know that people with ADHD can't do things they aren't interested in, so it makes sense that he will stop making RUclips videos if he's no longer interested in it. I'm glad he didn't keep doing it just to make money because the quality might drop. The quality of his videos were always so amazing. I hope he is doing well and is happy now.
I honestly think it’s very praiseworthy for Ryan to understand when he needed to stop. A lot of RUclipsrs just keep pushing long after their motivation dies and their quality plummets. I’m just glad he never did that, it makes his channels end seem more genuine.
In all actuality, he didn't know when to stop because he was burnt out for years before he finally stopped. Watch his interview with Anthony Padilla and you'll understand how burnt out he was.
My guys Ryan and Sean are one of the greatest if not the greatest RUclipsrs to ever live! They’re genuine and made my childhood, that was pretty bad honestly, a lot more bearable! I’m glad to see they grew up with us, it will always be a core memory to me. Thank you for everything you two
So glad he’s doing what he WANTS, that’s such an important factor for people who have already achieved stardom, this man absolutely rocked my middle school days and was the talk of the town for awhile
I think the end of Ryan’s channel is the perfect summary of what people say about TV shows, where you end when it’s good and leaving everyone wanting more, or continue churning out new seasons until everyone doesn’t want it. It’s great that Ryan’s channel still has an amazing reputation, even after he’s mostly quit RUclips
I grew up watching Nigahiga, and as a once fan of his, its a shame to see that others don't really know this gem of youtube. Its good to hear he's doing well eitherway.
yeah, i actually never watched ryans youtube but i learned ab him through his streams. He's doing really well on Twitch (1.5k viewers on his stream as of this comment)
The fact that there is now a "success formula" for youtube content, shit's never gonna be the same on this platform. The bold, daring, and scuffed videos we watched growing up are a thing of the past now. I'm not saying "hardy har old youtube good new youtube bad" but it does make my heart sink knowing that era of youtube is officially over.
What’s bad about new RUclips is whatever is in the algorithm and the TOS (or some ideologue in charge and their vague interpretation of the TOS) that makes the old type of RUclips content either impossible or disadvantageous to publish. It’s clear that RUclips cares more for the corporate accounts that post here, which is the real reason they do stuff like hiding the dislike count for example.
@@seanlaffey3633 Ad now they’re doing what Instagram is doing.they’re copying TikTok. At this point I got the feeling that the future of RUclips will just be TikTok compilations and shorts.
It's because Nigahiga matured. Like most adults, his inner circle was slowly getting on with life, raising families and going after life goals. That's what people in their 30s typically do. Most friends you grew up with would tend to slowly move away like this similar to myself in my 30s. Once people get into their 30s, their life starts to change and they want to stabilize and create a stable life. I'm pretty sure Nigahiga realized this when his best friends started to leave and that it was a matter of time for him to move on and take the next chapter of life. His generation of viewers were also busy with life and thus why he wasn't as relevant anymore. I'm pretty sure a lot of folks who followed him were in their 30s and late 20s as well. You kind of want to start putting foundations or investing in yourself in your early 30s because 40s and 50s aren't that far away. It'll be too late.
I relate to this although I'm only 26. Growing up watching him was a thing but I don't think I'd smash through his old style of content. We all moved on
in my 40s, this is true. once you reach this level. kids are starting to leave home, you watch tv or yt a little less and start to build relationships outside of your kids who left home
Makes sense. I'm in my 20s and After i graduated high school a few years back i had already experienced friends moving on with their life and just drifting apart. It's sad but life goes on and you really need to focus on yourself more than anything.
i genuinely believe ryan was one of the best and most successful youtubers during that "peak" youtube era. he never really got into any controversy, which is huge considering right after that "peak" of youtube, the content shift into more harmful trends such as pranking and straight up exploiting viewers for money. just a very fake era of youtube that can arguably still be considered present to this day. im very glad ryan was a part of mine and many other peoples childhoods. not only was he (and rhpc, generally) an amazing content creator, he also showed great representation throughout his career that im so grateful i saw as a kid. he just inspired me so much, and i really value those old youtube days. obviously parasocial relationships are a thing and none of us really know how he is, but i hope he knows how much his fans love and appreciate him. and of course sean and the others, haha.
its crazy to think i first started watching ryan when i was in elementary and now I'm in my second year of college. ryan and the team fr made my childhood and will fr miss them. great video!!!
Thank you for an update, I had just wondered what actually happened to NighaHiga. It’s good to have closure and know. Wishing the best for everyone and all that they do in their lives.
One word I would use to describe Ryan's content is "Delightful". His humor is goofy and well-intentioned. Even though his videos don't have that super shiny cinematic feel to them, I get floored by the amount of work and thought that goes into them. The cardboard stuff you highlighted was a great example. But even the insane conspiracy connections Ryan rants about is pretty mind blowing.
nigahiga was the only youtube channel my friends and i faithfully watched back in primary school. we were on the cusp of graduating, and would bond and laugh over his videos which were not just enjoyable, but extremely creative. you could really tell how much effort they put into their videos and just seeing them have the time of their lives made us want to do that too. in fact, we tried to pull off a similar 'mystery challenge' in the skitzo halloween special haha. we've all gone our separate paths but when we do meet after a long time, we immediately reminisced on the good times, particularly around those videos :))
I would argue that Ryan is the Greatest Creator to ever exist on RUclips he represented everything that RUclips was about at the time and he survived through so many changes honestly i don't think we will ever get to see the RHPC at full power again but if we did it would be one of the most memorable moments in RUclips history Ryan is a Pillar of RUclips and no one will ever change that
Ryan Higa was one of my first youtubers ever, before any other. I actually remember looking forward to his content every day after school in 2006. He's gotten older, and no one's taste in humor stays in the same. Good for him for getting out with no bad memories and controversies.
This is a great recap, good job! I grew up watching Ryan's videos and I respect him tremendeously, I understand he might not wanna do RUclips videos forever in the long run. His videos still had a great impact on lots of people all over the world. Thank you for explaining all the situations that led to Ryan quitting, great job!
Amazing video dude. It's crazy to think that Nigahiga made so much of my childhood and that it was a staple for youtube at one point, crazy how time changes.
I remember watching his home made parkour and dare videos, those were so much fun. Those videos made so much gloomy and boring days enjoyable. Honestly no other youtubers could make as much fun videos than those to this day
The end of an era. I grew up watching Nigahiga since the beginning, it's crazy to see how big they got during a time where RUclips was still a niche thing that most people looked at as a platform for nerds. Thank you Ryan and Sean for so many laughs and memories
@@jas02277 yea but him streaming valorant/games isn't the same as the amazing videos he used to release back in the day. That's what made him special and unique
This video genuinely brought me to verge of tears only like a minute in. I've been watching Ryan since I was around 3 years old and he really sparked such passion in me (and others too) that I don't think anyone else is capable of. I'm so happy he's doing what he loves because that's what his channel was always about - having fun. If he's having fun streaming (which I'm pretty sure he is), then I'm happy for him. This video was so so well made and judging from the top comments, I'm glad this is getting to people too. Thank you for this
Watching a nigahiga video is a blast. I especially love that he ties everything together at the end of his videos. God damn, I would do everything just to get a new nigahiga video, although I think times has changed too much now and I don’t think it will be the same. So it’s kinda sad
I've been watching nigahiga since around 2007. We're around the same age with Ryan so it felt like we kinda grew up together if it makes sense. Much simpler times. It's sad that he doesn't upload anymore but if streaming is making him happy then of course that's what he should be doing. Who knows maybe he'll make a comeback sometime.
i actually was hoping to see him in hollywood movies. he has the talent and humor nobody could ever have. i expected him to go above and beyond nigahiga. while things didnt go how i hoped, i'm glad he's chilling out, game streaming and doing what he enjoys. i'm glad he didn't disappear from the internet entirely
I remember when i discovered him in like 2012 13ish. He was and still is a fking legend. Never done anything wrong on his YT Career and pulled out the right way like some others said. No controversy no drama just a simple content slow
My junior high friends and I would laugh at his videos. We even shared them as they came out. I love that he left without making it into a huge scene. It takes a humble man to leave without making it into a huge deal or causing problems/drama. Still rooting for you Ryan and I wish you well if you ever read this.
Nigahiga is the GOAT of RUclips. Without RHPC, a lot of asians in their 20's and 30's today wouldn't be where they are. They were a source of confidence for asians where there weren't many at the time. It's also incredible how a RUclips OG like Ryan can keep his record so spotless until now and that itself is impressive.

I'm so glad this is evergreen content and not YT slop. The production and commentary of this video was so amazing. You just earned yourself a subscriber :3
Ryan and Kevjumba were my two favorite OG YT’ers of all time. The way Ryan would put so much work into his videos, alongside his friends, was amazing. Kevjumba was more or less, the relatable funny guy, and I’m glad he went on to do better things. Before the allegations came out, Paco was my favorite out of the RHPC. He had this sort of, “Patrick” Vibe to him, next to Ryan’s “Spongebob” and it worked really well. Although I felt bad for him whenever he got picked on in certain videos. Ever since Paco had been exposed, I lost all respect for him. I’m glad Ryan wasn’t one of those people who were blinded by friendship. He saw that what he did was wrong and disgusting. Ryan does deserve to live his life how he wants. I think that’s what we all want, is for him to be happy. Even if he doesn’t upload sketches to Nigahiga anymore, what matters is his happiness.
Iirc kevjumba got into a pretty serious car accident and stepped away from content creating due to the injuries or other reasons. But like Ryan, you might be able to catch him streaming if you can find his twitch handle
I went to college with KevJumba (didn't know him personally, but we moved in similar circles) and I started watching his videos to support him and through him found Ryan. RUclips 2007-2011 was such an exciting and innovative platform, and Ryan was at the forefront.
I'm still subscribed to him on my second channel. Never will I Unsub, Ryan has contributed to RUclips for the past 15 years and we owe it to him to stay subscribed. He is the kind of content creator that makes you want to keep his name alive so that one day you can show your kids and tell them "This....this was RUclips kids." Thank you, Ryan, for making my childhood and adult hood so much sweeter. TEEHEE!!!
I heard that stat wise subscriber numbers are not looked at the same as in the past. Now its about average unique video views that tell advertisers what your videos can actually reach.
I miss ryan so dearly, but i don't want him to comeback if that doesn't make him happy. i just wish he is healthy and happy in whatever he do right now. I can just rewatch old videos if i think about him. :) thanks for this video.
“you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villan” really fits his channel because I think if he kept going he would have slowly lost motivation and his channel would have slowly died, but he quit right after his channel started going down because he started doing ideas he liked instead of what made the best videos
If he brings the podcast back I'd be there to listen. He's a huge part of who I am and a huge part of my sense of humor along with creator Tomska. Ryan is someone who had been burnt out for a very very long time and now he's doing stuff he's passionate about and I can't say how happy I am that he's doing what he wants
Ryan has been the best thing that happened in my childhood. I spent so many days laughing and getting through my trauma and stress at a young age. I’m glad he’s happy and doing what he loves.
love the video. The pacing the scriptwriting the story telling is something you would expect from a much bigger channel. Actually entertaining and concise stuff. Also your not wrong but i think the paco incident wasnt that public, i mean, like it didnt give the channel too much bad press. loved the video tho
man I miss his skits so much, they were all so good and high quality. now that I think about it, I don't think there is any youtuber who could stand up to the quality, hilarity, and effort they put into their videos. they were such amazing videos. but I guess like everything in life we have to move on. he gave me way more positive memories that anyone else. goodbye Ryan, and his amazing crew/friends
Starting watching him in 2015, I'm 22 now but to me, he and his team was the most creative channel ever. With all that puns and creativity, it was hard not to subscribe to their channel.
I will always love the memories that Ryan gave us through the early time of RUclips. He was one of the greats and I’m glad that he is moving on to another chapter in his life!

Ryan explained it during one of his twitch streams. Streaming is decent money, he can be himself, and it's easier. In his videos, he's a caricature, not himself. What’s bad about new RUclips is whatever is in the algorithm and the TOS (or some ideologue in charge and their vague interpretation of the TOS) that makes the old type of RUclips content either impossible or disadvantageous to publish. I was just thinking about his channel the other day. Such a formative part of my early RUclips watching history. Thanks for the history retrospective!
We all moved on
in my 40s, this is true. once you reach this level. kids are starting to leave home, you watch tv or yt a little less and start to build relationships outside of your kids who left home
im almost 40 and my life has always been the same. but i've always been stable so.............
Makes sense. I'm in my 20s and After i graduated high school a few years back i had already experienced friends moving on with their life and just drifting apart. It's sad but life goes on and you really need to focus on yourself more than anything.

Thank you for explaining all the situations that led to Ryan quitting, great job!
nigahiga is such a RUclips legend that no one questioned his name
LOL this is so true
Hand Fart Kill!!
i remember him explaining this at some point, i think it's some japanese word and is not related to the n word
@@rockyroadmagic4152 I thought it was Chinese, but maybe it’s in both languages / means different things in them
@@PastPerspectives11 Ryan's Japanese not Chinese. Also I speak Chinese and can confirm niga is not a word or phrase in chinese
Honestly no other youtubers could make as much fun videos than those to this day
Really well done! Watched Ryan from the very beginning and hope one day we can get to see his unique creativity in comedy again
Thank you. I really appreciate that :)
this gave me so much nostalgia, he was such a good RUclipsr.
The end of an era. I grew up watching Nigahiga since the beginning, it's crazy to see how big they got during a time where RUclips was still a niche thing that most people looked at as a platform for nerds. Thank you Ryan and Sean for so many laughs and memories
They absolutely dominated RUclips for a while.
He still uploads on the higatv channel on yt and does twitch
@@jas02277 yea but him streaming valorant/games isn't the same as the amazing videos he used to release back in the day. That's what made him special and unique
Hand Fart Kill!!
Never heard of the fella mentioned, but this was a well-crafted video. Glad it was recommended.
Thank you for this
Ray is still relevant to this day. Dude has always been real with his fans hence why he's not easily forgettable.
I forgot about him
I’m so glad this video popped up in my recommended! Keep up the great videos
Maybe he’s not that type of guy to be in Hollywood, he seems like the type to be with his friends and stay away from all the politics.
Oh god no. Hollywood would've made trash out of him.
I remember when i discovered him in like 2012 13ish. He was and still is a fking legend. Never done anything wrong on his YT Career and pulled out the right way like some others said. No controversy no drama just a simple content slow
Long live Ryan Higa
D choi!!!!!!!
It's also incredible how a RUclips OG like Ryan can keep his record so spotless until now and that itself is impressive.
way to make it about race
@@HaloDude557 Explain? What do you exactly mean when you say I 'make it about race'?
@@HaloDude557 What I want to know is why you would associate such negative intent behind an otherwise positive and objective comment?
@@axiom5718 he's a source of entertainment for everyone. Race is irrelevant. The fact that you brought it up is tribalistic and primitive. It's negative because by encouraging tribalism you encourage further racial division.
@@HaloDude557 Completely was NOT the intention. Race is relevant in my statement BECAUSE he was an icon for asians when there weren't any in media. I didn't say anything about him being only a source of entertainment for asians. If anything, YOU brought the negativity into this discussion by saying I'm bringing race into it. Literally look at what you're saying right now. Encouraging tribalism? Primitive? Alright dude. Maybe learn to read things in a less negative tone.
man, i used to watch him religiously and it’s sad to see how burnt out he got (anthony padilla’s video). i wish him the best
I'm so glad this is evergreen content and not YT slop. The production and commentary of this video was so amazing. You just earned yourself a subscriber :3
@@thatnhoxiu thank you, that's very kind of you :)
Dang what happened to kevjumba? Last time I watched him he left in 2013 but I haven’t heard anything since
Iirc kevjumba got into a pretty serious car accident and stepped away from content creating due to the injuries or other reasons.
@@mikes978 Wait, I thought Kevjumba became a pastor for a religious sect? or am I remembering things wrong?
@@bukalayzx i think he got into an accident, backed away from youtube, and in the process of soul searching he became some sort of missionary priest
@@deanwilliams433 It's true. RUclips just isn't what it used to be.
Thank you I really appreciate that.
man I miss his skits so much, they were all so good and high quality. now that I think about it, I don't think there is any youtuber who could stand up to the quality, hilarity, and effort they put into their videos. they were such amazing videos. but I guess like everything in life we have to move on. he gave me way more positive memories that anyone else. goodbye Ryan, and his amazing crew/friends
For me Ryan is the true king of RUclips. Always will be.
I watched Ryan since 2014 and its sad what happened to the channel. The video was good tho, you should have more subs
Thank you, I really appreciate that :)
