Great video and information! I heard the quattro script on front is in reference to "Quattro GmbH" the company who produced Audi's race cars/performance models before "RS" cars were produced by Audi themselves.
What a car who's is that!?! Only joking thanks for the video man and what a video it is! If anyone has any questions please drop me or Scottish car clan a comment or reply!
Got one. Same colour but gold alloys. APR air filter and cabon pipe with a miltek sports cat and exhaust. Off to CelticTuning next month for an engine/gearbox remap. So excited!
Last I heard the ratios are (seen in the RS6) 50-50, 70-30 (F-B), 60-40, and 40-60. Sounds good to me, since it’s computerized and depending on drive scenery.
It is not physically possible for this car to send 100% to the rear unless your front wheels are off the ground because the drive shaft goes through the front axle and cannot be disengaged from it. What it can and does do is be more aggressive with the clutch for the rear axle so it sends power backwards more frequently and more generously in Dynamic mode.
Do they or do they not have active aero or manual spoiler like the MK2??? Asking because I already have the MK2, and would love to know if the spoiler can go up, but haven’t seen a single video yet showing it (scarily).
So I went and bought one. LOVE IT. Bit boring though but can’t get iQ wireless phone charger to work. Not sure if it needs setting up or it has it on a 2018 car. Can you help? Thx
you need to learn the engine characteristics, just like with most other cars; drive it in manual and pre-empt your actions, ensure the revs are 3k+ and enjoy.
Just picked up a 2018. First time I did launch control I had a similar reaction. Brilliantly awesome!

Recently picked up a 2021 TTRS, added an intake a week ago, plus an ECU tune, and transmission tune too. Holy sh@t faster than poop.
Buying one of these this year 🔥🔥🔥
A pleasure to work on and a monster on the road 😍

Great video review! I just bought a 2021 TTRS in exclusive chalk color for my wife and it is a rocket! Happy wife happy life. :)
Thanks alot! What a capable little car. Wow, top husband award! Enjoy stealing the keys from time to time!
How's the reliability on this car?

Got a 2020 love it
Fantastic video. What an absolutely awesome car! can't beat a TT.
It is a tremendous car! I was shocked.
Man that’s one great review 🙏🙏🙏💪💪💪
Great video with loads of info .....
Thanks!
I love it 😁
What a video keep it up 👍
Thanks 😀
That car wakes me up every morning lol
Probably our favorite comment yet :-)
Good review 🙌
Thanks!
What a car 😍😍😍😍😍
Thanks she's mine 😊
Mk2 or MK3 ??? To buy 👌
The Quattro name is now just the umbrella name for all Audis 4wd systems, but know what you mean. Mon the Scotland ❤
Other buyers tip:
Side seat covers regulary breaks off and exposes seat-side airbags. Awesome cars otherwise 👌👌
Good tip!
Isn’t it AWD 50/50 up to 100% to the rear? Not Fwd up to 50%
A bit contested... Audi say it can. Physics of how the haldex system works says it can't.

@@ScottishCarClan does the new updated rs3 have this system also? Or is it different, wondering because I’m looking at both

The fixed wing was a very common option but if you find one without it then it has the active aero.
Cross shopped these but we're too much and boot useless. Can't get over the TT bubble. Fantastic car for sheer pace though
You'd be amazed at the boot space with the seats down
I hear you Peter. If you get beyond those looks though its such a a capable car!
Would you rather buy old R8 or new TT RS ? :P

Boring!? Did you buy an RS? Quite an exciting little car I think! I believe the charger appeared on 2019+ models
An amazing car with one drawback, it has too much of a turbo lag (must shift down before accelerating to eliminate the lag!)
Or you can brake boost
@@tro2094 Not sure if newer cars would allow brake and gas applied at the same time!.
@@movazi Of course you can! Heel-and-toe is a tried-and-true track tactic for better lap times.
@@thomasolson8417 But not on this car. As soon as you apply the brakes the accelerator is cut off.

Did you hear that noise? "Yeah" That's the gearbox falling out.
Lol seriously. Can't be good
@@JoeL-dp1ej That's the exhaust "fart" as the car shifts into second. It's normal in Dynamic mode.
Wrong. Shifts are loud in the dual clutch Audi cars. Working just as intended.
His never been in a fully built Pontiac GTO no that's violent... 😂
imagine a fully built TTRS with 1500+ WHP
