This is so timely! I have been waiting for Accessibility on InDesign. Since most of the client works require PDFs to comply to WCAG standards . This topic is almost completely new for me, and a lot to learn. I think this is a good start. Thank you Thank you!

Great info. Is there a way to create alternative text for text frames in InDesign or is that still only possible in remediation in Acrobat Pro?

Great vid. I consistently have a problem setting my alt text in InDesign. I set it the same way you do here, but when I export it, acrobat doesn't recognize any alt text on my images and I have to do them all again within acrobat. Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Did you ever hear back regarding your query? I'd like to know too. It's odd, seeing as Adobe is the creator of both InDesign and Acrobat Pro there should be no issues with setting Alt text in InDesign and having it flawlessly appear in a PDF being read by Acrobat. CreativePro please advise!

Have you set up the export options in the export pdf window to have InDesign output the tags you have created?
