Here is another nostalgic low res video taken back in the 1970s in Paw Paw's living room over Christmas while I was home on leave from the Navy.
Clifford is playing an old Gibson mandolin but i don't recall the model.
Cliff was a good mandolin player and one of the best men I ever knew. He made his own custom mandolin years later, a copy of a Gibson F5 that he played for many years. Just before he past away he gave it too me, it was his most prized possession. It sounds just as sweet as it did the day he built it. I'm playing an Alvarez 5060. The 5060 is considered by most to be the Holy Grail of Kazoo Yari's hand made guitars.
