In this video I replace the radiator in my 2007 Chevy 2500hd 6.0l Gas engine work truck. The original radiator started leaking at the seam on the side tank. This repair should be the same for all chevy/gmc gas 2500/3500 pickups.

I would have loved to see how you put that quick. Connect lower radiator hose back on to the radiator there's no videos about that, and if you don't get it right, it will come back back off and lose all your coolent

Do you have a video on how to change the lower radiator hose on a 2012 GMC savanna 3500

Do you have to remove the plastic piece with 8 push pin clips (not the 2 piece fan shroud)?

A cheap kiddy pool from dollar store works great for radiator work.

Does changing the radiator help keep the transmission cool? I already changed the cooler to the transmission but I want to keep the transmission in good condition

i know im 2 years late but in short yes it could. I noticed with my truck when the engine runs hotter passed the 210 mark the trans also runs hotter even though i have a beefy aftermarket cooler but my radiator is about 30% clogged with mud and debris from 350,000 miles so im just going to replace it. And it should make everything run much cooler hopefully

I bought a new radiator and put it in tonight but the stupid lower hose keeps leaking!! I wish you could have showed how ya did it. I put it all back together like it was and I noticed the lower hose fits tighter on the factory radiator then it does on the new Oreilly auto parts aftermarket radiator. Anyone have this trouble? Going to buy new hose tomorrow pray it works! Thanks for the video I wish mine went as smoothly as yours.
