Discords been operating at a loss for some time now, the sudden push for nitro through their flashy in-app messages makes me think that it won't be long before they start putting ads in for free users

discord's far from desperate enough to rely on more users getting nitro, the only reason they want people to buy it is so they get even more money, because a large part of their funding come from investors, so yes absolutely do find ways to get around it if you want to lol

i bought nitro a long while back and changed my discriminator that way, when it expired somehow my discriminator stayed the same even tho it said itd randomize ended up changing my user so my discriminator changed, and it randomized to 1696
all of these in short emojis ~ this is just telling you to send an image. BUT. there's a bot called NQN, short for Not Quite Nitro!! you can use all emojis from any server that the bot is in and you are in!! only downside is that it does it with webhooks, like how tupperbox works, so it'll say 'your username [bot]' larger uploads ~ just use literally any file hosting service custom tag ~ it's not custom, but you can change it by changing your username larger messages ~ just cut them up at a paragraph or something custom video background ~ just watch the video, i can't explain it.. streaming quality ~ just use guilded or something
As for uploading files, I regularly use Wetransfer. I don't really see myself making a Guilded Account if all I want is to just share large files around, so naturally, I would be looking for services specifically catered to file uploads. I don't need to make an account there and it's free, works fine for me.

The betterdiscord plugin "PremimuScreenShare" allow to do screen shares over 720@60fps up to 2160p@165fps if i remember well
