400$ REFRIGERANT LEAK DETECTOR INFICON D-TEK REPAIR

I got dtek about 5 years ago and the charging ports for the adapter got broken and so I decided to repair it because it’s an expensive refrigerant leak detector, if you own one you will see what’s inside this ificon dtek

With all due respect. Above the black component on the PCB is a plastic insertable place to push a screw driver into, there are 3 more in the other 3 corners . If you had been braver you could have had the PCB out and attacked that from underneath properly.
And, again with all due respect, if you suspect the battery is giving you a problem maybe get a multi meter put the black lead and red lead on the corresponding battery wires and if you get near 3.6V then you’ll know it’s ok. That’s more efficient than ordering a new battery from Amazon.

No I don’t know about that, this one is for refrigerants

Amazon has the refrigerant one. Amazon always fucks up on descriptions. Just confirm with the model number.
