Thanks for sharing. Just pointing out that users relying on your suggested Action #3 will absolutely result in tanking prices when the first two FBA offers are tightly clustered, especially if lowest FBA offer seller is using an automated repricer. If the lowest competitor is setup is to undercut by a penny, your setting here just reduced the lowest FBA offer by either $0.49-$0.50, and then cycle repeats until all profit has disappeared. This could really be a big problem for high-value, long-tail ASINs.
@10:09 Rule #3: Price Lower | 0.5 | $ | Second Lowest FBA | ... | 100,001 | 500,000 || Pricing $0.50 lower than the second lowest FBA price is not matching - no misreading. So my point isn't to argue but rather to illustrate in a situation where the Lowest FBA is priced $0.01 below the Second Lowest FBA, this rule as shown in the video will undercut the Lowest FBA offer by $0.49. And then the price further spirals downward if the automated repricer wars kick in... Thanks for the clarification - the rule as stated in your response would avoid the situation described.
Hi Peter, thank you for the video on the settings. After having watched your video and setting up my setting preference I was unable to automate it. Once started the repricer I got a message saying: some necessary columns are missing. please click on preferences and check the correct columns". any chance you can help me out with figuring out what this error is. Thank you in advance
No problem. Go to the preferences page in Manage pricing and check the boxes that are marked. Check the resources page of neuroprice for more instructions or email support.
You can put this into practice immediately (and start boosting sales) w/a free trial to NeuroPrice: www.neuroprice.io/trial
Peter, the global settings REALLY needs an "Exclude New Sellers" option.
Coming.

You misread. Rule #3 is "Match the 2nd lowest FBA price for anything ranked between 100,000 and 500,000." Impossible to tank prices if you do this.

The heading should read "this is partially my settings for neuroprice"!
Great video, do you know if this rank settings work the same for Canada?
You can translate to other countries by looking up category numbers in Keepa and doing the math based on that.
