OMG, THIS IS GORGEOUS. I would be living in this at my sister’s property. I am selling everything possible and moving to the lake with her! So happy can’t wait!
I LOVE that you can raise the heads of the beds! So many people need to sleep with their heads elevated, due to acid reflux, snoring, etc. Pillows slide around and don’t really hold you stable. I wouldn’t even care if it was manual to reduce costs, but wish every RV had this option. The heating system does look really nice. Is this rated for cold weather? I know you see Airstreams everywhere in the south, but could you fulltime in it in a Colorado mountain winter? That roomy bathroom/wardrobe is awesome as well. What’s with that shelf by the toilet, though? Is there something inside it? If not, remove it and make the potty space even more spacious-maybe even orient the toilet east/west rather than north/south so you don’t have that heated towel rack behind you. I really like the fact that Airstream doesn’t do slides. You manage to make them fairly roomy without, and that’s one less thing to break down. There has to be a way to make it possible to open the solar guard from inside. If you want some cross-ventilation in the middle of the night, you shouldn’t have to pull yourself together enough to go outside and open it. The front storage-I see that the other compartments have two latches, so it’s not surprising the front one is the same. But it makes you walk around the propane thing to get both latches open, as we see in the video. Not a deal-killer but it’s one of those things that will get on an owner’s nerves over time, so better to rethink.
I had a vortex max Displacement was 364 cubic inches. I bought 3500 pound roller springs and had then installed. That took the weight off the back of the truck But 2500 diesel will do a better job traveling up hills.
I have an International 28RB, which I love. I have always thought that mine is "too big" if anything, but this layout is, I think, perfect. Odds are against me being able to afford to buy this top-of-the-line travel trailer, simply because of the price, but damn, what a great looking and well thought out full-time Airstream. I'd move into one tomorrow, if I could.
I absolutely love the outside of that it makes me wish. I had a Retro Vintage 4x4 pick up truck to pull it with. And I love the higher quality interior but I just wish. The inside was more retro like the outside.

I've always loved Airstreams....timelessly classic. I'm confused about one thing....what's the attraction of twin beds over a single queen or king? I don't get it. If I'm single, I'd want the extra room of a queen/king over a twin; if I'm married and we're sleeping in twin beds, we have some serious relationship problems that need to be resolved before we ever start camping, lol.
On an Airstream, the twin bed configuration gives you much more storage (inside and out), and the bedroom area has more usable space. It's not so much a relationship question as a storage question! haha
I have the 30’ classic and we went with the twin beds. It allows me to take a buddy camping for a boys trip. It also let’s my wife sleep better since I snore… There’s more room to change clothes and you have a little more storage in the cabinets.
Question... I would be a solo traveler and don't need a queen or two twins... can the twin on the passenger side be removed, and allow for extra storage, ie: a dresser or desk and chair? No manufacturer thinks about this... and I am curious as to why.
Do those twin beds have any space between the foot of the mattress and the bulkhead as in the 27, or is the foot of the mattress snug to the wall as on the 25?
Great home away from home! I made it thru your video with a headache from all the camera jerking. Your videos would be so much more professional if you had a second person who understands videography to show just as much in a professional manor. Great travel trailer regardless.
Nice, thorough review (thanks). Seems odd to put the bedroom and bathroom at opposite ends of the trailer. And the large gaps at the top/bottom of the bathroom door could be an issue. A couple of nice to haves would be powered window coverings and near-hidden, exterior perimeter security cameras.
Visited my local airstream dealer this last weekend looking at the 33 foot classic and I was very disappointed with the lack of quality in the building of the cabinetry. Pulled out drawer after drawer and saw nothing but staples and glue no dovetail joints no pocket screws, etc. very disappointing. How far back do I have to go to get to where these guys were actually built correctly?
Airsteams are beautiful outside but still very tight inside , not worth the price! For a starting price at $206,000 or more, you can buy a small log home infant of a lake or nice river somewhere - even a better investment.
As correct as you are in one sense, you can’t always make a one to one comparison. 2 different lifestyles. Some will buy AS to recover as much if they decide to sell after all that fun traveling the country.. Log home??? I’d go buy a cabin nearby in Gatlinburg if I wanted that stationary lifestyle- not that I haven’t considered it.
MSRP is around $190k, but with us being the largest Airstream network of dealers I can definitely get you a better price. Give me a call or email and can give you a personalize quote!
I really like the floor plan on this one. The power beds are awesome. I don't know much about airstreams other than they look cool. Is the roof walkable? I'm assuming that you have to check seals etc. My wife and I are thinking about full timing for our ministry. This might be a good fit.
Hey there Chad, I believe you have your lp bottles and cover materials mixed up, instead of the bottles being stainless steel, they're aluminum, and instead of the cover being aluminum, it's stainless steel, like the rock guards and other trim pieces.
We are both partially right on this, both the bottles and the cover are aluminum (I just asked Airstream for verification!) Thanks for pointing that out!
@@ChadsRVReviews I don't know who you talked to at Jackson Center, but I still say the cover is stainless steel. To be sure, you're gonna need to take a magnet 🧲 out and see if it will stick to the cover (I bet it will) if it does its stainless, and if it's aluminum like you say, it won't stick.
Well thought out and executed design. I'll tell you one thing though: Airstream _needs_ to hire a younger interior designer. Those cabinet doors & drawer fronts, for example, are going to turn off a lot people: they look very 1980s - if not 1970s. :^/
@@ChadsRVReviews Ha! I'm 63, and _I_ find the interior old... But I do like the funky old school-ness of Airstreams in general - once you get beyond _2_ full generations past, it's not dated, it's retro. :^>
I'm too tall for Those beds. They are right up against the wall at the foot. I would want at least another foot or 2 for a little space in-between. Nice trailer though. Wish it had a slide out for the dinette living room area.
Mid living provides crappy views (and a small couch you cannot lay down on) and wasting 1/4 of the trailer for the bathroom for something you'll use 3% if the time is silly.
Couple of things that bother me. That plastic propane bottle cover would dry rot and Crack in no time in Florida sun. And for the price I think airstream needs to make their chasis all aluminum. Having a rust bucket underneath is no fun when you got lips stick on a pig and it gets parked forever. Trust me I know.

Shouldn't the USB in the bedroom be at the nightstand and not on the opposite side of the bed? I can promise you that cooktop is not " chef inspired"- otherwise the burners would be offset. You might have three burners, but you're not going to get three pans on them at the same time... The flame needs to be in the middle of the pan and with burners that close together there is no way that's going to happen. Just stick with two burners if that's all the room you have in the countertop. There should be a shut-off for the heated towel bar- I don't care how many times you tell your 3-year-old not to touch it, they are going to touch it.
@@bobmariano3731 This is a travel trailer, not an RV. It’s meant to be taken on vacation for a couple of weeks, not to be lived in (unless permanently parked on your ranch). 👍
