Hi Chana - this is going to be a weird comment but...I don't normally watch all of your videos. I"ll watch one here or there. We recently had our second son so we have a 2 year old and a 7 week old. I was standing at the sink a few weeks ago, sleep deprived and my two year old was losing his mind, baby decided sleep wasn't going to happen and you popped into my head saying "and that's okay" with a smile, as you always do in your videos. And it gave me encouragement to take a deep breath and say "today nothing may get done besides caring for kiddos and that's okay." Anyway, now I have been putting your videos on in the background as I fold laundry and do dishes and it is helping me feel not so alone in these days with littles when things dont always go as planned...and thats okay! So thank you. Thank you for showing a calm mom even in the chaos. And even in this video, recognizing a bad mood is coming on and stopping it in its tracks.

Well, good morning Channa, I can’t sleep, it’s 12:06am on Saturday April 20..I was looking for something to watch and guess who came up? I uses babbal also, I used to be fluid Italian, but since all the older relatives have passed , we don’t use our language skills like we did. My husband is still pretty fluent as he used his language all the time. In our house it was just Sundays when my grandma living with us. It is fun to know a different language when you need to say something out in public that might offend others. Trust me, nothing really bad, just how they are dressed or how wild their kids are.Apple krugle sounds good. Today will be the first afternoon of neighbors coming over to swim, we are having our first bbq of the (non) summer this afternoon. IMO, the pool is not warm enough, but the kids don’t care. We have solar panels, no heater, Friday afternoon pool was 76*.once the heat really hits here where we live, the pool stays about 85* which is comfortable….for me. Can’t your pharmacist set your son’s diabetic machine for you? Just a thought.
This is an Apple crumble in the UK but we would use cooking apples as eating apples don’t pulp in the same way . I would use Bramley apples which are green and will be very sharp even when ripe

I really should try to learn it again. I don't think your code for Babbel will work for me in Canada but I will check it out just the same. It sounds like an easy way to learn it. I'm told roasted Brussel Sprouts taste good. My internal 3 year old is still telling me they are yucky and don't try them. Those cake pops came out great! I think the molds make the pops extra cute. A little trick my aunt taught me is to use a food grade tiny paint brush to push the chocolate up the sides of the molds. It helps especially if you start experimenting with different shaped molds. I made some chocolate frog cake bites for a Harry Potter party not too long ago.

This happens when I can't reach something to clean and I have to call one of the kids from what they're cleaning and help with what I'm cleaning ... or *trying* to. Yay for a video!! Two thumbs up!!! The solar eclipse was awesome. If I were a little farther north, it would have been on totality. It looked like a crescent shape. Partly cloudy and sunny, and the temperature dropped by 10 degrees. I got a bang trim and a shampoo today. It was much needed. I was able to go to Trader Joe's, and Walmart. I needed bread and trash bags.

@@jaroffireflies thank you ! My new home is under renovation still so a bit chaotic. We are bringing my mom to live with us because she is physically disabled now . My husband won’t be able to join us for another year because he is still posted to our former location. ( military) We are hoping he comes next year. I will have my son and my mom though so I won’t be alone. I am glad for that. Plus some of my husband’s family is in this small town.
Great idea with the cake pops! I have tried making round cake pops, more than once, without success. I will now try your way with the molds. Also I enjoy your gluten-free recipes. One of my granddaughters has severe eczema and bread, which she loves, can make it worse. Also most of our family is lactose intolerant so I appreciate the dairy free recipes you post.

i have tried this with green apples, but I find it too tart. I prefer the mildness in this dish of the red apples :)

I am going to have to make Brussel sprouts that way! I love them roasted and order them when available when we go out to eat. I didn’t realize it was that simple to do. The cake pops are so cute. I need to get molds to make them for my grands.They love them and they are not cheap to buy when we are out and about.

Those cake pops came out great! I think the molds make the pops extra cute. A little trick my aunt taught me is to use a food grade tiny paint brush to push the chocolate up the sides of the molds. It helps especially if you start experimenting with different shaped molds. I made some chocolate frog cake bites for a Harry Potter party not too long ago.

Hi, Chana! I’m Shelley. Started my Pesach cooking. Soup is done. Brisket being done tomorrow. Table will be set the next day. Need to do things slowly as I ended up in the hospital half in y driving to Pennsylvania to see my granddaughter in her gymnastics on Saturday evening. St.l recuperating frown pneumonia!

Awesome video today, Chana! I've been doing Pesach prep and saying, "but, that's okay!" a lot 😂! This happens when I can't reach something to clean and I have to call one of the kids from what they're cleaning and help with what I'm cleaning ... or *trying* to. Because of the 'but, that's okay' I'm getting through it and actually having fun with the kids. Thank you for that!

The cake pops look beautiful! Did you guys watch the eclipse? Here in Cuernavaca we got about 75% coverage. I always get excited for eclipses.
We did!!! We are in the path of totality so it was a really incredible experience
Yay for a video!! Two thumbs up!!! The solar eclipse was awesome. If I were a little farther north, it would have been on totality. It looked like a crescent shape. Partly cloudy and sunny, and the temperature dropped by 10 degrees. I got a bang trim and a shampoo today. It was much needed. I was able to go to Trader Joe's, and Walmart. I needed bread and trash bags.

@@jaroffireflies thank you ! My new home is under renovation still so a bit chaotic. We are bringing my mom to live with us because she is physically disabled now . My husband won’t be able to join us for another year because he is still posted to our former location. ( military) We are hoping he comes next year. I will have my son and my mom though so I won’t be alone. I am glad for that. Plus some of my husband’s family is in this small town.

Great idea with the cake pops! I have tried making round cake pops, more than once, without success. I will now try your way with the molds. Also I enjoy your gluten-free recipes. One of my granddaughters has severe eczema and bread, which she loves, can make it worse. Also most of our family is lactose intolerant so I appreciate the dairy free recipes you post.
