The cake pops were my favorite part. They look delicious. You are a very busy lady, so never apologize when you must end a video. Your family comes first. I hope you had a great Shabbat.
Hi Chana - this is going to be a weird comment but...I don't normally watch all of your videos. I"ll watch one here or there. We recently had our second son so we have a 2 year old and a 7 week old. I was standing at the sink a few weeks ago, sleep deprived and my two year old was losing his mind, baby decided sleep wasn't going to happen and you popped into my head saying "and that's okay" with a smile, as you always do in your videos. And it gave me encouragement to take a deep breath and say "today nothing may get done besides caring for kiddos and that's okay." Anyway, now I have been putting your videos on in the background as I fold laundry and do dishes and it is helping me feel not so alone in these days with littles when things dont always go as planned...and thats okay! So thank you. Thank you for showing a calm mom even in the chaos. And even in this video, recognizing a bad mood is coming on and stopping it in its tracks.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment. It’s definitely hard to have a baby and a toddler. Hang in there! Caring for the kids is your most important job and you’re doing amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for encouraging me ☺️
@jaroffireflies Hi Chana! Love your videos. Hope you continue sharing your story and great ideas. I agree with this comment... I don't have kiddos yet but you model the kind of mother I hope to be one day and give me a clearer idea of the family I hope to have. TODA :)

Hi Chana, loved the video. Those cake pops looked so good! What a great idea for a snack. I love how Mr. Firefly brings flowers for you and your daughter. Such a kind man and what an awesome thing to do. 😊 I hope your shabbat went well and that you all have a wonderful rest of your week! Hope the family is okay in Israel. Prayers for all!

Nice video, Chana. Thank you. I’ve been scanning the comments, and to see that you have replied to so many is totally amazing, given how busy you are! Oh, to have half of your energy! Have a great week.

Definitely a lot of settings. Our pdf died without notice, so we didn't have updated info. Luckily the endo did, so I made corrections after our last visit.
You are , so often, my stress relief! Thank you for your kindness in sharing your life! ( A late, I know), Shabbat Shalom!! I study Hebrew roots, believe most firmly in the Torah, and am called Messianic… I call myself a follower of the one true G-D. May HaShem bless you and keep you always! From Odessa!
Thankfully my sickness is starting to subside, so I'll hopefully be cooking for this weekend!!! Pesach is almost here, so I'll be making a few special dishes. Thanks for the recipes!
Thanks for sharing. It's funny watching you making cake pops (they look yummy) and apple kugel when I've already switched my kitchen over and am cooking and baking for Pesach!
Those cake pops came out great! I think the molds make the pops extra cute. A little trick my aunt taught me is to use a food grade tiny paint brush to push the chocolate up the sides of the molds. It helps especially if you start experimenting with different shaped molds. I made some chocolate frog cake bites for a Harry Potter party not too long ago.
Morning Chana, so glad to see your video today. I finished my move last night. It took a few weeks to be complete . So just sitting here in a house that needs to be unpacked and having a break with your video . Happy to see your smiling face .

Hi Chana! Hope you are all well. I have a question. Are there any family or favourite recipes from your childhood & pre-Jewish life that you adjusted for Shabbat? When you get the settings on the new device entered and optimized - take a pic of them and save in a photo album on your phone.

Ooh, I wanted to try your Brussels sprouts so badly! I love them! Yeah, I don't like it when I have so many plates juggling in the air and my grumpy factor goes up exponentially. The stuff scattered around is what makes a house a home. 💚Sending hugs and love your way.
I am going to have to make Brussel sprouts that way! I love them roasted and order them when available when we go out to eat. I didn’t realize it was that simple to do. The cake pops are so cute. I need to get molds to make them for my grands. They love them and they are not cheap to buy when we are out and about. Have a blessed week and Shabbat
You're sounding like me! I have been struggling for more than a month and I am still feeling under the weather.. I have tried EVERYTHING but nothing helped
Hi Chana I love the cake pop/popsicle molds. I have some popsicle molds from ikea but lost a lid to one lol. Where did u get them? I know my kids are in their early 20s, but come on, who doesn't like a good frozen treat or chocolate cake pop. I loved it when you closed the video due to that feeling of being overwhelmed. Good for you, be gentle on yourself. You are an amazing momma, my friend. ❤
Shalom! A tremendous video! Your home has some good meals! I hope that you get into the Seder plate next week. I am taking an Intro to Judaism class. It's fantastic!
Hi, Chana! I’m Shelley. Started my Pesach cooking. Soup is done. Brisket being done tomorrow. Table will be set the next day. Need to do things slowly as I ended up in the hospital half in y driving to Pennsylvania to see my granddaughter in her gymnastics on Saturday evening. St.l recuperating frown pneumonia!
Good morning from central Illinois where it is a lovely spring day. I have tried your apple kugel and it was delicious (and my favorite). So glad that your library work is progressing well, too! Have a marvelous Monday 😊
Those cake-pops are super cute! I'll bet your kiddos loved them! I still have quite a bit of cleaning in my kitchen that I want to get done for Pesach! Pray for me lol!
Good afternon to everyone! 🍭🧁🍰 Wow, these cake icecreams look beautiful and yummy! 😋 Work done, I'm enjoying my coffe time (with some cookies 🤭)while I'm enjoying your video and company! Thank you! ☺️💕
I love Brussels sprouts. I roast them. Toss Brussels sprouts in a little olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper, set oven to 400 degrees. I cook till until nicely roasted and soft. Add blue cheese crumble cooked bacon bits (I know you can’t have bacon but they are great without also)!
Great idea with the cake pops! I have tried making round cake pops, more than once, without success. I will now try your way with the molds. Also I enjoy your gluten-free recipes. One of my granddaughters has severe eczema and bread, which she loves, can make it worse. Also most of our family is lactose intolerant so I appreciate the dairy free recipes you post.
Oh great question! We have a warming tray that stays plugged in all Shabbat so we can warm food up on Shabbat. Roasted veggies I serve at room temperature though because when they get reheated the flavor changes.
Good for you! I'm glad you were not only able to identify the way were feeling, but prioritize what you were doing and eliminate the extra stressor you could! (Even if that was us. 😉)
All the food looks delicious! My favorites are the mini muffins and cake pops. Congrats on a most productive half day - WOW. Glad your eldest is back on track. A question for you. When you were baking, why didn't you use the bottom oven at the same time? When I'm preparing a big meal or doing mega baking, i have both of mine going. Just curious. Thank you,
Thanks so much! 😊 Great question about the oven, the bottom oven is my dairy oven. So I can't bake in there and then serve with a meat meal, and this was all cooking for a meat meal of Shabbat lunch.
The apple hugely and muffins are great! My question is: On Shabat, how do you heat up the food like the Brussel sprouts that was cooked the day before? I'm going to try the Brussel sprouts recipe. (I'm not Jewish but watch your show. ) Thanks
This looks like a great Shabbat! I love seeing your videos every Monday it's a light in my day. Just wondering: how do you wear your tichel over your ears and glasses without discomfort? Whenever I wear a tichel it squeezes my ears against my glasses and it hurts and I always end up pushing the tichel behind my ears instead (which then means it slides back more ugh)
Hello! Thank you for your kind words! To answer your question, the scarf isn't too tight over my ears, so it doesn't bother me. When I dress it up by adding a headband, that becomes too much after a few hours though and I have to change it,, so I know what you mean. I also wear a velvet headband underneath and that doesn't need to be tight, and it holds everything in place so the scarf doesn't have to be tight. Hope that helps!
My heart is with you and your family in Israel! On a lighter note, I'm glad I'm not the only person who doesn't use green apples. And I can't believe how much you got done before the kids woke up -- wow!
Hello, nice to see you, it seems like it’s been a bit. Any suggestions on what I could add to Brussel sprouts to give them more flavor? My husband loves them, I do not. 🤣. If I could “doctor “ them up, maybe I would like them. Hugs to All.
Pretty chill day, she says, after having made apple strudel, carrot muffins, cake pops, etc. Phew! Doing any one of those things makes it a busy day for me! Enjoy yourself ❤️ PS. We’re all cheering for you. When you get in the cleanup “zone” I hope you can stave off the grumps. ❤️

Hello! I hope you had a peaceful Shabbot. I might just make some apple kugel to use up some older apples. Thanks for the idea!
You are so welcome! Enjoy!
It’s so simple to make! I hope you enjoy! Have a wonderful day Shawn!
Those cake pops look so good!!
Thank you Allison!
Thank you for your kind words Rissy! Always a pleasure to read your comments! I got the molds on Amazon :)
Hi, everything looks delicious especially the cake pops and the muffins ❤
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful food prep, Chana. Yum
Thank you!
Been thinking of you and your family Hannah❤
Thank you very much
Shalom!
A tremendous video!
Your home has some good meals! I hope that you get into the Seder plate next week.
I am taking an Intro to Judaism class. It's fantastic!
Thank you! Enjoy your class!
Refuel shleima!
Good morning from central Illinois where it is a lovely spring day. I have tried your apple kugel and it was delicious (and my favorite). So glad that your library work is progressing well, too! Have a marvelous Monday 😊
Wonderful! Thank you Monika! Enjoy your day 💐
Hi.. whenever my day goes crazy, I find one of your videos and take heart from you. If you can do it, so can I. ThNk you
Aw thank you so much for telling me that Sue!
We love babbel❤❤
Yay!
You really got a lot accomplished in this video! Baby Firefly is getting SO big 💙
It was a great day!
Omg them cake pops look real good 😊😊
Thank you so much 😊
Those cake-pops are super cute! I'll bet your kiddos loved them! I still have quite a bit of cleaning in my kitchen that I want to get done for Pesach! Pray for me lol!
You’ve got this! I’m in full Pesach cleaning mode right now too!
The cake pops look beautiful! Did you guys watch the eclipse? Here in Cuernavaca we got about 75% coverage. I always get excited for eclipses.
We did!!! We are in the path of totality so it was a really incredible experience
Good afternon to everyone! 🍭🧁🍰
Wow, these cake icecreams look beautiful and yummy! 😋
Work done, I'm enjoying my coffe time (with some cookies 🤭)while I'm enjoying your video and company!
Thank you! ☺️💕
Thank you so much! Enjoy your day!!!
Oh the balsamic vinegar sounds like a super fun addition!
@@jaroffireflies it is!
missed you last week!
I missed being here! Technical issues kept me from posting. Happy to be back this week :)
Cake pop. God bless you and your family. 😊❤
Thank you! 🤗
I’m so glad the gluten free recipes are helpful!
You may have done a video before on this, but how do you reheat all the food on Shabbat? Do you use a warmer? How do things like Brussels reheat?
Oh great question! We have a warming tray that stays plugged in all Shabbat so we can warm food up on Shabbat. Roasted veggies I serve at room temperature though because when they get reheated the flavor changes.
Smart idea!❤
@@shellywaskom6219 thanks 😊
Good for you! I'm glad you were not only able to identify the way were feeling, but prioritize what you were doing and eliminate the extra stressor you could! (Even if that was us. 😉)
❤️❤️❤️
All the food looks delicious! My favorites are the mini muffins and cake pops. Congrats on a most productive half day - WOW. Glad your eldest is back on track. A question for you. When you were baking, why didn't you use the bottom oven at the same time? When I'm preparing a big meal or doing mega baking, i have both of mine going. Just curious. Thank you,
Thanks so much! 😊 Great question about the oven, the bottom oven is my dairy oven. So I can't bake in there and then serve with a meat meal, and this was all cooking for a meat meal of Shabbat lunch.
Thanks for explaining
@@virginiamahon2863 sure thing!
The apple hugely and muffins are great! My question is: On Shabat, how do you heat up the food like the Brussel sprouts that was cooked the day before? I'm going to try the Brussel sprouts recipe. (I'm not Jewish but watch your show. ) Thanks
Enjoy the brussel sprouts! I serve those at room temperature, but other floods I place on a warming tray so they get heated up for the meal.
Try using an artist brush for painting your chocolate. You are one busy lady❤️
Thanks for the tip!
Omg your so stinking cute! Enjoy the weekend. 🎉
😊😊😊
My heart is with you and your family in Israel! On a lighter note, I'm glad I'm not the only person who doesn't use green apples. And I can't believe how much you got done before the kids woke up -- wow!
You use red apples too! So fun! Those early morning hours are my favorite because without interruptions I get sooooo much done!
Hello, nice to see you, it seems like it’s been a bit. Any suggestions on what I could add to Brussel sprouts to give them more flavor? My husband loves them, I do not. 🤣. If I could “doctor “ them up, maybe I would like them. Hugs to All.
I’ve only ever had them just with the oil and salt. I imagine garlic would be good though :) I’ve just never tried it that way
Pretty chill day, she says, after having made apple strudel, carrot muffins, cake pops, etc. Phew! Doing any one of those things makes it a busy day for me! Enjoy yourself ❤️
PS. We’re all cheering for you. When you get in the cleanup “zone” I hope you can stave off the grumps. ❤️
LOL If I don't still have work in the afternoon then it is a chill Friday!
