  • Fabolous still hasn’t commented publicly about the allegations that he knocked out his baby mama Emily B’s two front teeth. Nevertheless, the Brooklyn rapper has now officially been charged.
Fab is looking at one count of aggravated assault and one count of making terroristic threats, both in the third degree, per his complaint and summons.
    Reports Bossip:
According Fab’s complaint - which was obtained by BOSSIP - Emily B said her sons’ father committed domestic violence against her, punching her in the head seven times, “causing severe damage to her two front teeth,” which later had to be medically removed. The father of two also texted Emily to “inform her that he would hit her in the head with a baseball bat,” and after he tried to obtain a handgun that had been removed, “informed the victim that he had a bullet for her,” his complaint says.
BOSSIP has also learned that the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office has stepped in and will be trying the case against the Brooklyn rapper. A spokeswoman for the prosecutor confirmed Monday that the initial charges still stood.
If convicted, Fab is looking at three to five years in state prison as well as up to $15,000 in fines.
This past Saturday (March 31), footage was revealed of Fab in a heated argument with Emily B and her father.
It didn’t stop him from performing in NYC that night, and thanking fans for their support, though.

Ericka Fraser thank you!!!! You are not thinking rationally. People are on here blaming her and saying the entire situation looks questionable. My question to them is, have you ever had yo ass beat? Have you ever been in an abusive relationship? If not I need everyone to have several seats that are even thinking about blaming Emily on any level.

Kim P sooo true . It’s no excuse, for what he did. Emily could have been as wrong as Ro left feet . He knocked her teeth out. And she is obviously thinking like a ,abused woman. Because she thought to remove the guns . So he has pulled a gun on her before . How does your mind go to that? Specially under such stress. She has dealt with this behavior far to long

Fabolous is NOT in love with her. More importantly, Fab just DON'T LIKE Emily. When a man know that they can dog you out, the lose all respect for that woman. Since she came on the scene (LHH), Fab treated her like shit. He didn't want her on show and then made her leave the show so they can work on being a family. Her self esteem is gone. I HOPE this is her wake up call.

💜Speaking from experience going through and living within a domestic abuse relationship you get stuck mentally from fear. They break you down. Until you’ve been in it you’ll never understand. 💜You never leave without an escape plan because they will hunt you down and either kill you or try. One time I tried to leave I was told I wasn’t leaving with his child, got punched in the mouth and had my tooth pushed back to the center of my palette. When I finally left, I made my mind up I was either going to fight my way out of that house with my child or one of us was going to die. Even though I was beat with a gun, held a gun point, my neighbors heard my screams and called the police. There was a 5-6 hour standoff and a police sharp shooter shot him through and window and he fell in front of me. I truly don’t believe it was all about staying in the lifestyle for her. Back in the day before she surfaced people heard Fabolous had someone but never seen or knew who she was and this was before she had the 10 year and the 6 year (she also has a daughter older that’s not by him). She’s always had self-esteem issues, it came out on LHHNY. After Chrissie beat Kimbela to the floor for flaunting she had slept and messed around with Fab when Emily was pregnant and the group was trying to get together to uplift Emily to be strong enough walk away. I hope this was a wake up call for her, and she gets a lot of psychological help because it’s something that’s not being filled on her own that she feels living through that is worth anything she has or is going through She nor those kids need to be in that situation. I wish people would stop judging her. Yes she is a victim, even if her psychology and conditioning tries to make it seem right to stay in her mind. If someone has never been in that situation and been in for a while stop judging her choices of why she stayed or didn’t leave. It’s on the same line of Stockholm Syndrome. Emily B I support you.💜 And yes I’m an official Advocate for a nonprofit organization against domestic violence who help displace women and children, not to say men don’t get abuse. It’s just that our facility is a short term facility to house and transport women and their kids to safe houses to continue their journey to safety without a trace💜

Also, women need to stop thinking they can change a man or love him enough to make him stop. It's craziness. Also, we need to talk about the self esteem of girls..Girls who become women and think this shit is love. It all boils down to the woman/man's choices.

If you have never been in a abusive relationship, you will never understand the mindset of a victim. It's not about the money. There are plenty of broke people in abusive toxic relationships. Emily needs to know within herself that she deserves better and until she reaches that point in her life, she will stay.

Telling a victim of domestic violence to just get up and leave is equivalent to telling a crack addict to just abandon and say 'no' to the drug. Similarly, expecting a victim of domestic violence to just leave is looking at the situation through rational eyes; most victims of domestic violence are incapable of seeing their situations as rationally as outsiders do. My points are two: 1) is that it is easier said than done; 2) domestic violence is very similar to other forms of addiction, which you only overcome and understand after having received therapy, in general.

Which is usually not the case in high income earning celeb households. Especially if it it is an abusive home. Things are brought for folks all the time, cars clothes, furs, bags, stores bill their high end clients and the accountants pay the bills. Some folks barely or ever see them. Abused women are keep on a short lease. Who knows how things were transacted when it came to anything more than 2k. Folks have to stop hindsighting this situation, she has been w/ him since she was 21. Who knows how long this could have been going on. She didn't appear to have much high self esteem when it came to his blatant infidelity.

Also, when a man does shit like this to a woman IDGAF what the story is. I've been in an abusive relationship and no one would have EVER known given my personality. It's easy to pass judgement from the outside. It's more psychological than ppl realize and about survival.

diamonds janee I am not blaming her for anything none of this is her fault by any means. I myself was in an abusive relationship. Just like so many other women. And I stayed with him. Im just saying when you know better you do better. And you do teach people how to treat you. Emily is just like I use to be. But I.know my worth.Im no one pushing bag. It comes from low self esteem. Bc you cannot value yourself if you let someone treat you that way.

This is 100% the problem with discussing domestic violence. The conversation is always what the victim could have or should have done. It's never about the asshole abuser. They always get the benefit of doubt. Victims don't come forward because they get blamed for their situation as if it's of their making.

    • @shamaraLthomas

Chavon Walton This is so sad. I hate what I'm seeing in these comments. I hate that this hate is coming from women against another woman. It's ashame how much we hate each other and how we think of each other. We are the #1 victims of domestic violence and also the first to blame the victim. No has stopped to consider that the pain associated with being a victim of domestic abuse can lead to mental instabilities such as depression, suicidal behavior, and much more which alters a person rationale greatly. The only thing people can think about is her wanting money and a glamorous lifestyle. I don't see the glamor in the hurt, pain, and trauma she's facing.

    1. He needs to go to jail and serve all his time. 2. She needs to do some soul searching and find her self-esteem and realize that she’s better than being his punching bag 3. She needs a real support system that will tell her the truth without judgment. It’s not easy leaving an abuser no matter how violent he/she is. And for all we know, he could’ve told her that if she leaves, he will kill her. I mean we just don’t know and you can’t put anything past someone just because they are a D list celebrity 🤷🏽‍♀️. It’s unfortunate, but I hope she finds the inner strength to get out now and show her kids a better way of life.

NayBeazy The cold truth is, a victim, children and pets are more likely to be murdered when they leave.
People assume that leaving will stop the abuse. NOT. It’s not uncommon for abusers to murder family members of victims.
A victim thinks about their life and every living thing around them.

    • @NaomiBrown1
      @NaomiBrown1 6 лет назад

I Said What I Said that’s the most unfortunate thing about it. That’s why it’s important to have a good support system bc the victim needs all of the protection they can get. Even if it means helping the victims move to another state. There’s no easy solution, but nothing is worth staying and accepting the abuse

I was so afraid to leave. He had me thinking no one else would want me. I got tired of the abuse and being afraid. It had gotten so bad that I didn't care if he killed me because I left. If Emily was scared to leave before due to lack of funds, this is her golden opportunity to make a name and brand for herself. Leaving an abusive man, speaking on panels about the signs, writing a book about the courage to walk away. There's always a silver lining, and baby, this is it.

I’m disappointed in you, FD, but I’m not surprised. You seem to understand the basics of domestic abuse and you’ve got great insight on pop culture/celebrity culture, but from this response you seem unable or unwilling to make the leap that she like so many other women are trapped by design by the abuser. His celebrity status and image allows him to manipulate her , his fans, and celebrity culture commenters alike, so much so that the onus is placed on her for the incident itself and its aftermath. I heard almost nothing from you on toxic masculinity or how celebrity abusers use their status to mask predatory acts. You’ve done it in the past, and yes I know your viewers like so many in our community give no quarter to abused women-internalized misogynoir-but do remember you have young people watching all of this. Your voice has influence. What you posted once again piled on victim blaming and failed to address the ways in which celebrity culture activism promotes domestic violence and predatory behavior by male celebrities who treat women and girls like cheap commodities to use and discard.

  • @MichelleElaineOfficial

Unpopular opinion: If he beat her he deserve all the years he got without question; but there are some holes in the story. I see the video surfacing of him getting into with the father and her pulling out the camera, but where are the photos of her teeth being knocked out? Why did she call the dad to take the guns and not the kids and her? Why was someone upstairs ret to record and she had her phone out in her face. This isn't the first time she has gotten hit on and Fab definitely played on her insecurities. She had her own but lost it when she became satisified or validated by being Fab's "woman". I like to know the whole story before i pass complete judgement.
Now what i do think happened was Emily was fed up and staged this whole thing with her dad because she needed some sort of proof and when you are desperate you will do anything that "seems" like a good idea to get away.
Praying for the whole situation because the kids are involved.

I think people are over reacting and need to mind they business because one thing we do know for certain is she always goes back. This that mans first offense if he is found guilty because we don’t know if any of this is true so he doesn’t deserve to be put in jail for no damn 5 years that’s exaggerated. Jail does not rehabilitate. He needs counseling and therapy and he needs to ordered to stay away from her. Period the end done.
