Shroom says he has a throbbing headache so he's gonna be taking it easy and not talk too much, then proceeds to say the most in the entire video rofl. x
It’s nice to know it’s not just me flicking lures for hours on George’s River with no result, I have been preferring bait lately for a bit more action.
Hey Shroom,I live near woronora and never seem to have the same luck that you did when I go down for a fish there. What two awesome fish you caught good job. I would love to have a session with you on the woronora sometime if possible.
wow, banger fishing sesh, I always notice you fish in some great spots, very nice environment and yeah, walking and moving, fishing is a very active sport and you get to admire the scenery at the same time.
Hi Shroom, Happy New Year mate I hope it is very health and wealthy New Year mate. Happy fishing mate. Get a big one 😂. Nice size Bream mate. Happy New Year all followers.🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳
I've fished it alot over the years having grown up in the area. You do get those fat trevally from time to time. Good fighting fish for their size. Drifting for flathead another winner on that river. But my favourite is blackfishing. The rocks you were standing on is a good spot. Enjoy it while you can Shroom. You'll find a nice girl one of these days and next thing you know they'll be little Shrooms popping up everywhere and finding time to fish gets a lot harder.
Try the same area's with a light tackle 8lb mono mainline and flouro 6lb trace with blackfish style float with an adjustable depth stopper (adjust to fish 30cm from bottom) with fresh edible peeled banana prawns from Coles or Woolworths. Fish around 2hrs either side of high tide and Berley up with sand, bread, pellets and old pilchards in the mix................bang!
I thought you were gonna say fish right up the other end on the rocks, used to be many people fishing for luderick then. Nowadays I don't see a soul haha.
@@ShroomFishing I found that luderick style fishing for Bream using fresh Bream bait along the edges of the Georges river just over the drop offs around rocky structures works ok. (its a moving bait due to tide) Berley up and let the float drift down the river just over the drop off out from rocky edges. Your casting on plastics is spot on, its very accurate......I do similar with a backpack, bream gear, Jackall Chubby in Ghost Gill. But I then realize you have your camera outfit to haul along as well. So keep up the good work mate. I have learnt many fishing rigs and tactics, I haven't known from you.
@ShroomFishing so the height is OK but the weight isn't. I'm pretty sure the one u take at night has a cast weight of max 60g but u put on 100g sinkers or am i wrong
@Zac_kingy I'm using an 8 foot rod. The bait itself will weigh more than 100g (and that's not including sinker) so those ratings are a guide but the rod I have wouldn't be very useful for bait fishing if it really was a 60g cap, but you can still fish with them by lobbing baits.
Length of rod is preference. Long rods are long so that can be a big advantage but shorter rods are nicer to use and more versatile. Also you probably don't know until you have it, casting with a 12 ft is very hard. You have to step outside the cover in most cases as you can't cast properly on a wharf but it is nice to have the longer rod when it's out.
@ShroomFishing yh I remember a RUclips short video saying it was a td black with 60g cast weight but idk if it changed or maybe u choose according to testing how much Is too heavy yourself

I have been waiting for 2 hours reloading RUclips, thanks so much shroom and happy new year! Hope you catch a big fish this year!

Loves this video the format is great!👍
Hi shroom you could have done a catch n cook with that trevally. The water is cleaner than the George’s and parramatta river.
@@nukelie8920 maybe one day I'll do a catch and cook for trevally. Apparently they can have worms and I've seen them carry a few parasites
It's a good day when Shroom uploads a new video and you know it's Thursday

Did you just “Giggity” 😂😂😂 I’m like WTF?!
Hi Shroom. Wondering if you could add the links to your rod holders and bucket you have. Thank you
I remember a long time ago u did a video here using lures. I was here since 10k subs

HAPPY NEW YEAR SHROOMSTER🥳🤙
Happy New Year to you!

Gotta love the trevs Shroom, he was a nice chunky one
Hay you should come to Dora Creek.good fishing 👍👍
I was down there today on my MTB from the Illawarra, unfortunately no fishing gear, killed myself riding back up after the bridge to sutho station
That hill is no joke hahaha. It''s gotta be comparable to a hill climb in the Tour De France 🤣
@ShroomFishing too right there bro, downhill was easy, uphill a killer lol
Those lures have balls
Yes, original design by me 😎
@@ShroomFishing Really. You designed them?
Yes, I'm proud of them!
Bend it like Beckham
Yupppp 🤣
Nice shroom keep up the good content
Thanks Gazza
i've got a question what reel is that that your using?
That’s me local! Not much going on in the day time unfortunately ☹️
There is, but I know what you mean when it goes night. But it's very concentrated fishing then
All I Want to Do Is Make Love to You
Song by Heart
Is what you magically conjured with your song haha
Good stuff shroom but I always go to that river in that spot and never catch anything
It's a tough system, it's feast or famine usually. You either catch fish and bites everywhere or it's dead the entire system lol
When are you going live shroomie ?? It's been a week and that's to long for me hahaha 😅 love your vids bro . Love from the gold coast
shroom if you want a bit of a challenge you should come fishing in narrabeen. for some reason the fish in narrabeen are extreamly picky
What reel do you use in this video Shroom?
Daiwa Exist 2000
Hey shroom do u think a 12ft 8-15kg rod is over the top for chucking butterflied yakkas in parra River at night like u?
Maybe the weight of it is a bit on the heavy end. Most fish won’t bend much of that rod unless you hit a 80+.
@ShroomFishing so the height is OK but the weight isn't. I'm pretty sure the one u take at night has a cast weight of max 60g but u put on 100g sinkers or am i wrong

My mate slipped off that rock at 7:20 the other week and we were in there searching with our feet for 40mins
Oh yes Harrison, now that I think of it, that rock is sketchy as! That green moss is slippery like ice
