2023 ABA Rendezvous

The 2023 American Brabant Rendezvous was held at the Jordan farm in Belington, WV. Folks brought their American Brabant horses to demonstrate the versatility and usefulness of this breed being developed. They log with horses, plow and put up loose hay.

My two sons and I had a wonderful time on the Jordan’s farm for the ABA event. We hope we’re able to attend another ABA event in the future. They’re really some outstanding folks!

Had a good time at this event, was nice to see these animals up close and watch them work. Maybe I will be blessed to have a good team of ABs one day.

Must have been a great event. A good number of horses shown here do not seem to be American Brabants.

In addition to my American Brabant horses I have 4 American Belgian mares. The American Brabant is a new breed allowing crosses of American and European Belgian horse.

They stomp the sensitive roots and compact soil around trees. They also eat sapling leaves, causing disease susceptibility at early stage in tree development
