And speaking of questions, have one for both of you if possible: did you put names on all of your Pokemon? Just the ones you like the most? Neither?
Funny you ask that, I always kept my Pokémon names at default, which makes no sense considering how I’m all about naming characters in RPGs?!?
I'm definitely a nicknames type of person for my Pokemon haha.

Cool discussion - the psychology at work in games is really something else! Glad that Digitally Distracted has been able to continue on.. well, digitally.. when in-person interviews aren't really viable. :)

@@RetroAli Hey Ali, you mentioned a Tentacool not being shiny locked for HG/SS - have you ever manipulated the RNG before to get a shiny Pokémon, or perhaps one with certain IVs? I'm not talking about using an Action Replay or anything, I mean abusing your DS clock to get a Pokémon with whatever IV/Nature/shinies you want.
Just curious. It's something I delved into deeply when they released 10 years ago, and at the time (even now) it was considered legit Pokémon hunting because the only thing you altered was your DS's clock, then load the game at a specific time.
Just wondering- keep up the great work!
