    People do realize that we are in the age of The Weeknd and Olivia Rodrigos? There are NO intruments. None. 2 minute guitar solos for Tiktok? She has the courage to come up with a very well created and executed song. All the guitars and instruments are originally played by her. So she composed this ALL BY HERSELF. Her FIRST compositions. And, by the way, One of Us and Gravity both have mini solos. This song has brilliant layering. Has her tapping technique in the end. Has her unique, distinct sound with her Vigier. It's her. What there isn't is a shredfest. And so what. Her playing serves the song. Because she is a fabulous musician. And, now, an engineer. Which is amazing. It's hers, not covers.

    The mark of a great guitarist is to always serve the needs of the song. It’s a fine needle to thread, nothing more or nothing less, and Tina did it perfectly.❤

    I was waiting for your opinion on Tina's reappearance on stage. Of course she is very different from the simple girl (water and soap, as we say in Italy) of 8 years ago. She has changed a lot in her appearance but I'm happy that she has found a way to do what she likes and above all make her own music. She is a real talent but also a humble person. She knows how to put herself at the service of the band without necessarily wanting to be the protagonist. She doesn't have to prove anything anymore. And in any case, her imprint can be heard in all three songs on the EP, especially in Gravity. But we want more!

    Okay, so, I could be wrong, but I think what's going on is that she's managing expectations here. First of all, it's not just about her. It's about the whole band, and she doesn't want to necessarily pull it all out on every song, and lose the feel of the band. She's playing the music that she's into. Second of all, it would be pretty miraculous for anybody to get up on a stage and perfectly Play Moonlight Sonata every night flawlessly. But when you play something like that, that's what people expect from it. Flawlessness. This is a song that she can play night after night in a club, and it doesn't have to be necessarily perfect, or, it's easy enough that she can play it without having to worry about messing it up. When she's doing live shows, she will likely have a solo section in the show where she can highlight her skill. Everybody already knows what she can do. Maybe she just wants to be a normal albeit hyper qualified guitarist, without having to practice for 12 hours a day. What do you think? I guess but my point is that she doesn't have to live up to anybody else's expectations. I'm really happy that she still playing. I'm happy that she's okay, maybe she doesn't want to have to maintain everything that she was doing before. And that's okay. She's already done all of that. She already has the notoriety. She's already friends with rock stars. Maybe now she can just be herself and make music on her terms. Great video!

    • @fredfred2363
      @fredfred2363 10 месяцев назад +2

      Agreed. And you have musicians and songwriters. They don't always mix. They are rare. Tina can reproduce other people's songs perfectly. But can she compose her own music? Songwriting is the difficult bit. Once you get the right melody and lead, it almost doesn't matter how well it's performed.

    A couple of things people should think about. Music videos are prerecorded and the bands are just acting for the most part. This is the only video of Tina`s I have ever seen that she was standing. The guitar is not at chest height like in all of her previous videos. So it may take time for her to adjust. I for one think she did just fine, That thing on the pendant looked like a gyroscope.

    There's only one guitarist in the world who can pull off what Tina S does on this song...and people have been listening to his guitar licks for decades and that dude is U2's Edge. This song is so layered with Tina's skill set that a person has to listen to the song at least six times to identify what Tina is technically doing. The tattoo on Tina's right hand says it all - lightening in human form. GLAD Tina S is back with a band she formed. Thanks for posting this review!

    At 4:35 I feel that in a live setting Tina's mini-solo could easily go for another few bars, should could easily expand on that little solo during a concert. Its a really well composed song, the more I hear the more I like it. The layered guitar work could go unappreciated by the 'average joe', but ya gotta listen close to all that guitar work to really get an appreciation on whats going on there. And then she winds down the song with that tapping sequence and it fit perfectly and sounded great, she/they could also jam on that part of the song in a live setting too. The drummer rocked. The singer sounded fine too, none of us reading this comment can sing better than him. With that said, he doesn't have his own sound yet and its going to be fun to hear more of his range in the future. And finally the people who made the video did a damn fine job too. Great reaction too. Its nice to see a Spin Twice reaction from someone who understands music theory instead of the 'average joes' who were expecting her to play crazy shredding and were disappointed when the band didn't play in the style they like. Its always refreshing to see people who have a positive outlook on life and you seem like that kind of dude, so I subscribed.

    I'm glad Tina is back here, but I'm disappointed to say the least, this isn't the Tina we all know and love. And this, in my opinion, is not a song that will be remembered for something. Not to mention that the song obviously lacks the big solo we've all been waiting for. The whole song is soloist oriented, Tina's guitar skills are left in the background.
    In my opinion, Tina got involved with left-leaning youths, which is guaranteed to kill her career. Neck tattoo, short hair, trying to be a gay ??
    Typical woke look. Go woke Go broke. It killed all my respect for the brilliant guitarist I know.
    Hopefully she realizes it before it's time, otherwise she will be another brilliant young woman who has sunk. Focusing on messaging destroyed alot of peoples, even giant companies like Disney and Netflix. If woke kill giants what left for a little girl like Tina ?

      Tina is growing up and evolving with her music. Maturity. Can’t stay a kid for ever! I am a huge fan and always will.

      I think it’s insulting to Linkin Park, they actually have some great songs and different sound. It’s actually more along the lines of good charlotte or any generic sounding pop/rock band from the 2000s which I hate.

    I think everybody was expecting incredible guitar work, and I have to admit I was to but I’ll give credit to her for doing and playing what she wanted to play hats off🫡
