We plan on going to the area next spring. We drove by there when visiting St. Augustine 2 years ago. We didn't have time to explore. Very well done video. We will be sure to check out some of your suggestions. Thanks for the information.
Next time be sure to check out High Tides @ Snack Jacks! It's the oldest restaurant in Flagler Beach, the structure has been there since the 1940s! It's also the only restaurant right on the ocean besides the pier. You guys will love it!
Thanks so much for this video. We will be traveling to Daytona in October. We have been there in the past and just drove through Flagger. Never realized there was so much there to do and see. And btw - hot dog with ketchup is the way to go :)
Definately check south of the pier! Kool Beenz Coffee has the best coffee, smoothies and smoothie bowls in town and Beach Belly Bob' s is next door and has awesome one of a kind sandwiches! You'll go back for more!
There are more ma and pa shops south of pier too. The white Orchid, By the sea cafe, Kool Beenz Coffee, Beach Belly Bob’s, Sunny Nails, Flagler Massage, Dog’s Choice Groomers, Oceanside Beach bar and grill, Beachfront Grill, Martins, The Net by George. Just to name a few.
The irony of this video is, filling in the gaps that I didn't have the chance to fill when I was last there at flaggler beach. Thank you for your input.
No surfing restriction I've ever heard of, dogs are allowed on the beach North of 10th St N, and South of 10th St. South as i understand those rules ..
You guys should try Break Awayz on your next visit. They're a little north of 100 on A1A and the food is really, really good. Your other video also had a BBQ place. I'd recommend visiting Captain's BBQ. It's further down near Hammock on the Intracoastal, but they have the best BBQ. 🙂
How about the 'Loop Drive' through gorgeous oaks that form a canopy overhead with Spanish Moss hanging down. It is known as being an Ormond Beach must do; but, I believe The Loop starts in Flagler County.
Why, oh why. did you miss Hidden Treasure Raw Bar & Grill????? The tasty seafood, the live music, the laid back vibe of the Tiki Bar in the intercoastal.....if you are anywhere near. Flagler, you have to check out Hidden Treasure.
You recommended the Whaam Burger on Flagler Beach. My husband and I tried this burger and we were not impressed with the quality of the burger. You can get a better burger at The Turtle Shack on Flagler Beach; although, it is more expensive.
I lived in Flagler Beach and the water was never warm. Just saying. This is why other beaches are more famous. Englewood Beach is one of the nicest in Florida.
Great vid! Ironically came across this vid on the Daytona fb page while visiting Flagler! I am also starting a travel series on my RUclips channel called “Travel With Diva”, check out the playlist! 🤗✨
Sorry but this post is rather misleading. As are the RUclips videos created by the chamber of commerce. There’s NO decent hotels here. They’re basically over priced dumps.. that look like crack houses. The only shells that can be found are in the VERY FEW gift shops.. there isn’t any shopping here. The food is good though. That’s about it.
Nothing at all “misleading.” Have some of the businesses featured in the two years since the video was done closed? Yes. But nothing “misleading.” Flagler Beach is a beautiful small town with many mom and pop businesses.
I have to agree. I used to live there for many years and are considering returning. The hotels are not on A1A, unless you are going to the Hammock. You may want to seek lodging on Old Kings Road. Palm Coast is a retirement community for a certain group of people and they want to keep it that way.
@@TheDianelizwilson I know there is a Microtel, Holiday Inn and maybe a Hampton Inn, right there on Old Kings Road and Palm Coast Parkway. There are some shopping centers around the intersection and Palm Coast's oldest Publix supermarket.
I took an amazing picture under the pier as I left my trip last spring.

And also have to have a drink upstairs at Tortugas, best bartenders around!!
Will do! Thx!!
Gotta try The Net by George, Martin's Steakhouse, and Johnny D's
@@ChadGallivanter I notice that there are more and more surfing in Flagler Beach .Never tried that area .Nice vid Chad....
Flagler Beach is my favorite beach in Florida.

You and my wife are on the same page! Have a fun trip!!
Another beautiful part of Florida I had not heard of. And yes us Brits put ketchup on a hotdog! Lol. Really enjoyed this. Cheers x
NYers add ketchup to our hot dogs too.
Great video, thank you ... This definitely is MY Paradise in retirement ... My first trip here was in 1968, I wish I had stayed here then
doctorjoey3 Thanks for watching!
Love the fish jumping at 6:17 !!
always love the quality of these videos. Excellent work, thanks!
Thank you, Chris!
Love Flagler Beach. Golden Lion Cafe should also be on here. :)
I'll add it to our list for the next video! Thanks.
You HAVE to mention Bahama Mammas
I gave more restaurant recommendations too
Awesome video
Thanks!
Flagler Fish Company is my favorite restaurant and don’t forget about the burgers at The Turtle Shack.
Good tips!
Yes, Flager Fish Co is one of the best restaurants down there.
Flagler beach has unique color sand , that compliments the blue water.
Don't some call it a cinnamon beach? It really is quite unusual.
Salmon color sand. I have not seen that in other beach in FL so far.
Thanks Chad and Abby. It looked like a beautiful place to visit. I will put it on my list. Love your channel.
Thanks Nancy!

We’ll do that next time! Thanks
Really nice video, I have never been to the area but would like to stop someday.

Thanks for the recommendations!
Thank you for mentioning the Net! It is so good and they also accommodate people with gluten allergies!!!
Wish we had known about your channel earlier, we missed a few great opportunities to eat local while in Flagler Beach.
Oh we love to travel to this beach so much! It’s a very long drive from southeast Kentucky but well worth it!
Yes it is!
nice
Any recommendations for Palm coast? We are going in June and looking for things to do.
Make sure to make a day trip to historic St. Augstine. Google it. Just North of Palm Coast.
Lol I live here. Right off of high bridge road that beach is very quiet I think that's what he's referring too at 6:38

Beach Belly Bob's. The best sandwich shop in Flager !!!
Yes, it's very good! Thanks!!
Need to add the island grill restaurant. Best salmon in Florida
Is there 3week - 3 month.longterm stay on the beach...
Is flagler beach dog friendly? Are there restrictions on surf fishing?
No surfing restriction I've ever heard of, dogs are allowed on the beach North of 10th St N, and South of 10th St. South as i understand those rules ..
Thank you! Looking to move, retire to Palm Coast area in 2021 from small town in Michigan! I think we will like this area.
I think you made a good decision!

I agree. We actually have a video on the Scenic Loop in our library. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/lNyBTTObDJ8/видео.html
@@ChadGallivanter Thanks!
Yes! The Bugaloos!!!
High Tide State Park is good too
We are considering a move to this area. Thank you! Great video.
Beautiful beach town!
My parents are in the winery when you were filming
Cool!
I love Flagler Beach area. I wonder if there are any small homes I can afford to retire to?
Small homes in the area that aren’t on the water are going for around 300k. And 400k on the water.
Why, oh why. did you miss Hidden Treasure Raw Bar & Grill????? The tasty seafood, the live music, the laid back vibe of the Tiki Bar in the intercoastal.....if you are anywhere near. Flagler, you have to check out Hidden Treasure.
We've been to some of the other Hidden Treasures. Will check out the Flagler location next time. Thanks!
This business is now closed. I think COVID finally did them in.
New restaurant coming soon!! End of 2021 …
Lol who else here that live in Flagler beach or is it just me
Palm Bay here
Former Palm Coast resident who will be returning soon.

Johnny D's is excellent
The waffle cone > Sally’s
someone had to say it
There is a story behind the pirate house
There are many stories about Palm Coast.
Yes to ketchup on a hot dog. Mustard only on a sausage dog or brats
so im on my alt right now but my father owns whaam burger and a1a burrtiom works

I had an amazing trip here. I watched a rocket launch and then drove around looking for work until a beautiful girl waved me into her house.
Ketchup was made for hot dogs duh
Flagler has gotten so overpopulated lately

All true. This a sleepy secret county. Try Airbnb.
