Great video Lucky but as a L46 Magicka Sorcerer, I am getting bored of killing Mobs with a Staff and magic and my Twligiht Matriarch just gets in the way all the time. Is there a SOLO PVE build/ class that uses Melee Weapons like a sword/ 2H weapon but not spear that can do all Solo content? Is my only option Necromancer?
Hey Lucky just curious how up to date this bud is some of your double s tier spots I’d really be interested in trying out, been playing a mag dk for over a year off and on and ready for a change :)
Necro build on your written guide says to have False gods armour set, as someone who is looking to get into this game, but has no one to play with, the solo build would suit me, however im a bit confused, after googling that set it says its obtained through a trials, which as im lead to understand is end game content? Sorry if I've interpreted the guide wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
hey! so i have starter gear listed on the site as well! so that if you don't want to go get trail gear you dont have to. you should know tho that trials are not end game, you can do them as soon as you hit 160 and collect a 5 piece set of something VERY easy. normal trials are basically a tutorial to veteran content, however, the gear within is nearly identical to its "perfected" counterpart that drops in veteran
@@LuckyGhost Oh, I did look over the website links, but it was on my phone. I must of overlooked it, not to worry i will inspect it again on my laptop. Thank you for the information though, and in regards to the trials, thank you for clearing that up. I see people talking about end game trials and assumed it was the same thing, thats my mistake. Now i know theres vet trials as well as regular lol. Ive subbed to your channel now, your videos are very well explained, i tried watching a couple other channels and the people dont communicate well, and use alot of phrases new players wouldn't have any clue as to what they mean. Where as your 2 guides ive seen so far clearly show/explain mechanics. So I just wanted to say I appreciate it my guy.
Love the vid and subbed! :) A question - what alternatives to the Ring of Pale Order would you suggest? I'm reading that it essentially replenishes health from your attack damage. I am wondering if some crafted jewelry could be substituted... ??? FOR EXAMPLE - I am looking at set items such as Orgnum's Scales: (2 items) Adds 129 Health Recovery, (3 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health. I would like to hear thoughts on how this would compare vs. Ring of Pale Order... granted it is not a 1:1 replacement, but for my crafting character it is readily available "today".
Great question! Ring of the pale order brings in thousands of HP, while that one brings in just over a hundred so its not even in the same realm. If you don't want to wear the ring, you would be best wearing something like iceheart monster set :) its going to constantly give you a damage shield that absorbs damage
Stamsorc with Briar + VO + Ring of the Pale Order + 1 piece Bloodspawn is one of my favorites for soloing ^^. Dark Deal and Crit Surge are just too good, and the speed on an Orc is helpful, too
Awesome stuff man, i would definitely like to see some of your builds updated for beginner gear. You recommend some really expensive or very hard to obtain gear for beginners, as opposed to easier sets to achieve, afford or grind.
Hey Lucky! Just discovered your channel. What if you don't have that ring though? I'm just returning and Mag Necro looks fun but I don't have any Champion levels. Is it still going to be strong and have good sustain?
Tried nightblade when I first started and played for 3 months before giving up on it at lvl 34. It was a bad build but I don't think it's really my style. Now I have DK's, Templars and sorcs. Some are stam and some mag. Magplar khajiit and magsorc high elf are my strongest characters mainly due to superior equipment. Almost all solo pve is doable as are some of the 4 player dungeons. I think it's just a matter of preference and ability. Maybe I'll try a nightblade again. Note: all my stuff except for a couple pieces of mothers sorrow are found or crafted. No super powerful stuff.
My Orc Stam Warden uses dual wield. Either DW or a Bow, along 2H axe... Very soon it'll be a long sword if PvP'ing (or 2x 1H sword when DW'ing), since axe will get nerfed from their blood dmg: the slight additional crit damage to replace it becomes irrelevant in PvP (either a long sword for more dmg, or a 2H mace for more penetration, would be better). But for PvE with a crit build and crit rate/chance, axes are very good.
My favorite is still one bar pet sorc. My carpel tunnel inhibits me from ever truly having fast enough hand-eye coordination to get top numbers. Sure the final boss is Vateshran fully heals every time I jump into a portal so the fight takes long but slow and steady helped me win the race and I finally got my skin!
I just came back too the game a few weeks ago and im diving head first into it. I know it's technically not a class but where would you say WW/Vampire builds compare too the classes in solo-ability :) Look forward too your answer, and great vids as always Lucky.
I started less than 10 days ago, caught the tail end of new life festival. Your videos/energy in presenting are great! I started with mag sorc. Would you recommend rolling a tank and support too (and starting to upgrade their mount speed), or should I just stick with DPS since that's my default playstyle?
thats totally up to you! I like having one of each role, even if you dont fall in love with it in the long run, it teaches you a lot about what you can do as a DPS to help your healer or tank out, and what you can do to make sure you get the most out of their buffs :D
I am having some troubles with the magicka necromancer, I love the theme, the class, the race... But I am getting frustrated about my performance in PvP :( Could you guys give any hints? Hahahaha
Hey, thanks for your work and this video. Want to come back to eso after a break. Do you have a suggestion for a class as a solo pve maybe easy to play/beginner class? Have started a sorcerer back then but didnt like it. I like mostly stealth charakters. But right now i cant decide between nightblade and necro. Thank your for your help :)
both stamblade and stamcro are great, stamcro is probably a little easier to use though because its a brawler build. and sooooooo fun! but so is stamblade... so hard to choose between my children :D
I really like the builds. Im going to try the Necromancer solo build. However im confused about this statement under skills: We do NOT use Shooting Star. It is slotted for the Mages Guild Passives. Does this mean you have no ultimate to use on the main bar?? Sorry, im pretty new.
it means you're going to use the ultimate on the back bar. shooting star is going to buff all the damage your front bar does, which is good cus thats where you spend most of your time
@@LuckyGhost Thank you.. I will give it a try. As I mentioned im new about 4 months now. So, I rarely switch to my back bar. But I will try it. I do have shooting star right now on my front bar, and it seems to do well. But its all about learning and getting more proficient. Just an fyi.. im PC/NA.. @skylinedesign look me up if you are around my neck of the woods.
Hello there! MagSorc gang is here to correct you on some things: Magsorcs are the best solo class. I can see that you are not using an optimal skill setup. Of course you can play the way you want, but maybe that is the reason why you came to your conclusion. First of all, why are you not using the storm atro? It is the strongest and longest lasting ultimate in the game. It might not be applicable in trash fights, but definitely in boss fights. Why would you use the Twilight Matriarch? Isn't the ring of the pale order and crit surge enough? If you need an "oh shit" ability, that's what hardened ward (literally the strongest shield in the game) is for. Sorcerers defend themselves with shields, why would you not slot hardened ward? Give yourself a damage shield while you heal back up, that is the best survival strategy when you're in trouble. Use the volatile familiar instead of the matriarch. it deals damage and STUNS enemies! And one other thing: There are so many better abilities than Daedric curse. Also why are you using a flame staff on the back bar? Do you know how much potential a sorcerer has with using lightning staffs? First of all, use a shock glyph on the front bar, use a lightning staff on the back bar. Set enemies off balance on cooldown, restore tons of magicka with a heavy attack while also dealing aoe damage (see tri-focus passive). A sorcerer deals 5% more damage with shock damage with the energized passive. Oh yeah, I haven't mentioned the passives yet. Sorcs have 8% more max health with a pet active (expert summoner). They have more magicka recovery (capacitor), I get up to 10% more spell damage on my front bar with expert mage, that's like a permanent minor sorcery buff! Have I mentioned that Sorcs spend 15% less ultimate? You have literally no sustain issues at all (see unholy knowledge, rebate and capacitor). Obviously that was just a small clip and you probably did more with the magsorc, but that is just my observation. It is all about how you use the class. If you have a way better build for your magcro then it is understandable why you might think it is a better class as well. And what does the Magcro have? An aoe breach, ok. Who needs that? They make slightly more damage to trash mobs, it's not like that's needed. Magsorcs aren't even aware that they exist. They aren't even able to see them before they're all dead because the aoe is SO STRONG! The spirit mender doesn't even come close to the amount of healing that a sorcerer gets. They even get a small heal everytime they proc crystal frags. And I think ricochet skull isn't even that good.
I'm glad you like mag sorc better, it was top dog for a long time. Too long arguably. check out the sorc build guide i made, watch it melt the vVH and vMA bosses in the time it takes to cast one ult. If you're doing that with your sorc build, awesome! But the only thing holding sorc at number one before was crit surge. With ring of the pale order it has lost top dog solo spot in my book! Now everyone has life-steel and the classes with more damage and more damage mitigation can reign! Try running the magcro through vma and vvh sometime, you might be surprised :) take care! and enjoy your sorc!
@@LuckyGhost Thanks I will, but I do have to say that the ring of the pale order doesn't really change spots here. Crit Surge and Pale order is still better than only Pale order. And what you can do with a mag sorc when it comes to aoe and single target damage output still puts other classes in the shadow. An aoe breach debuff is really nice, but only necessary in very specific situations. But obviously everyone enjoys their playstyle. I just think that optimally set up, magsorcs are still better. It's all in good fun :)
@@jonathankoch3049 Yeah and its annoying that ZOS has a major hard on for the Magsorc class. Its needed to be nerfed big time for a while and im sure it will be in the upcomoing DLC. its making the game incredibly boring for people.
@@cyrecks MagSorcs aren't really the best at anything except for solo and maybe PVP. And they were nerfed for a year now. They didn't benefit from Blood for Blood, which made them unpopular during Greymoor, they nerfed frags and some other damage abilities with Stonethorn. I don't know anymore what happened in Markarth, but as you can see in the planned patchnotes for the next update, they will nerf frags even more. I am personally quite happy with all that, even though they were nerfed. I think pet sorcs hit harder now bc spell damage also applies to pets now, but where exactly do you think MagSorcs should be nerfed?
Hello, im comming bactk to teso after some time. Last time i used delthias guides and tricks. You seem pretty cool too. Im subbing. And guys, what are some others good teso chanels on yt?
Is cp160+ required for soloing content? I'm pretty new to game and have a stamblade cp91, but the rotation is so difficult to master. So I've made various alts, really liking this fire-based magdk as I wanted a fire mage type, but my end game is being able to solo all the content. Think I'll give that magcro a try after seeing the video. Just being able to solo normal dungeons seems impossible to me so far tho.
Like your videos although im a newbie to ESO. Just need something from your videos, timestamp's. Thank you for all good info when im trying to learn a new game.
I still have to figure out what dungeons are group content and wich solo. I ran into a dungeon (during a quest) and made it to the boss ( I guess it´s meant to be solo then?) Getting to the boss was not the problem. I gave it 3 tries, nearly took down the boss every single time, but when he was at arround 25% life it became too hard to manage my resources, also because there were too many "minions", who made it very challenging to me. For sure I could watch fully explained guides, but to be honest - I love the process of figuring out how to sucsessfully beat down Bosses and handle new situations. At my very first expieriences I didn´t know, that is commonly the better way, to not split attributes between mag and stamina. Decided to begin a new fresh run with another class, just to experience the differnce it really makes, and it was so much easier the second time. For example - during the late game in Morrowind I died (do not laugh) several times to that dwarven protection things, that pull you to them if you attacking from distance, then they activate those dwemer spinning cutter traps, and it harrased me. Well, I found out, that when you attack them in melee distance, they are down in no time and you don´t get stunned, wich makes them easy as hell. The experience of figuring out is so worth it, or in other words - rather die than spoil, in my opinion X D But now some words to your video - I do not doubt a single word of your explanations, simply because I don´t even have a compareable knowldege of the game as you. Like your content, like your sympathic voice, so your the eso tuber of my choice X D
Do you have this list, without the pale order item, for newbies like me that just started that probably won't have access to this pale order item for a very long time? Cause this is the kind of list I am looking for just doubt I will have this item right after starting lol.
I can’t decide between magicka nightblade or magicka sorcerer. The only thing putting me off sorcerer is the pets as I never really been a huge fan of pets. But I have heard sorcerer have been great for solo play since launch? So I guess sorcerer would be the safe pick for me I guess. But the nightblade class seem more fun as I dont have to deal with pets. Also nightblade might be a harder class and I’m a new player so idk between these two.
From all classes you did a build for , which one do you think is best to stay alive on? I like all the builds , and the one bar pet sorc combined with the ring got me through a vet vateshran no death and no sigil run , just didnt manage within 45 min. So am looking for good survival en more damage than the pet sorc. Keep up the great content , you got a new sub my good sir💪🏻
nothing stayed alive as well as the magplar once it was toe-to-toe with an enemy. get close, slam the rune down, and start parsing and the damage mitigation in the rune combined with the life coming in from Ring of the pale order and puncturing sweeps. You see me just straight up stand in the red and parse the last boss down in vVH in that build guide lol. spam the shield as you close the gap to keep you from taking too much damage before you're life steal kicks in. but really, any of the S tier classes were really strong, and did a great job of staying alive. the necro + the spirit guardian (heal and 10% dmg mitigation) feels amazing as well. so did sorc double dipping in the life leech. and magblade stealing life with every swallow soul. sorry, its hard to choose!!
That depends on what you want to do. Orc is best to get the most damage for a stamina build, high elf for a magicka build. Redguard for stamina sustain, breton for magicka sustain and thus healing. Argonians are considered good when learning to tank, Nords make the best tanks. The others (khajit, wood elf, dark elf, imperial) are all good as well for middle tier stuff, not the best but none are bad. If you want to play around and figure out your preference, however, dark elf is probably best. Racial skills give equal bonuses to magicka and stamina, and thus do well for either type of build. So if you want to just mess around and figure out your preferences, they're probably best as you can most easily swap from a stamina build to a magicka build to try out both and see your preference. Then once you know if you prefer a stamina build style or a magicka (or tank or healer even), you can pick a race best for that role for your next character
@Lucky Ghost I need your help almighty lucky! I started ESO two weeks ago and was put into the tank role, but most of the builds have a lot of focus on the frost staff taunt from the TRI FOCUS passive that was taken out of the game. Can you help us tanks find the right builds for higher tiered content? Please Lucky Ghost.... You're my only hope.
the only thing that has really changed from that perspective is that you can now use clench (destro staff skill) for taunt, or continue using what most tanks used before on their backbar, inner fire :) (an undaunted skill) all of the tank builds at eso.justlootit.com were made by an endgame tank if you want to check em out
How will this look when Ring of the Pale Order gets nerfed? From what I can gather, Magicka Sorcerer will be back on top. Sorcerer has always been the most consistently best class. New classes often out-do it until they get nerfed. I've mostly played Templars, but whenever I use my sorcerer it just feels much easier to achieve the same results, even without pets. That is really what the sorcerer brings to the table: it's not necessarily more powerful, it's just easier to use. I am glad magicka nightblade fared well because Nightblade is my favorite class (even though I've played templar more). I hope the Dragonknight gets a buff. It's the class I like the least by far. It was always about DoTs and mostly single target, the main distinction being that the ultimates were generally better than other classes. I always found it really clunky to play, particularly stamina. My main was a stamina dk and he quickly got relegated to tanking. I don't mind tanking but even though the stam dk is very good at it, it's also more boring than other class tanks. I didn't do much mag dk because my dk was an imperial and I didn't want to change that. My main is probably my least played character. One day, the stam DK will rise again.
Dang I chose sorcerer on my first character then I messed up so I deleted it this was before I knew how to redistribute points and skill points so I’m made another and holly crap is it good also necromancer wow I’m literally afraid to fight a level 20 necromancy at level 810 I’m serous

I just got this game 2 days ago, and I just seen your content on this game, you helpd me a lot bro,I'm glad I subbed💯
Impressive solo build list. Very thought through and well put together.
Got all the leads for ring of pale order yesterday, bought greymoor 4 hours ago, I'm power leveling like fuckeree through the skill lines just so I can get that ring
Me too 🔥🔥
Thats what i did, thankfully the leads dropped first chance, put on a couple movies then boom
Yeah sadly I've lost all momentum to grind for anything in this game anymore I watche vids trailers get excited then jump on it and I'm bored to tears in 15 mins the gear grinds I had to reset gold mats I've farmed the last few patches killed it completely and then scrying boring or lack enthusiasm is understatement I'll save this vid for if I return love your content use to love the game but it's doing the same thing for zos to change it I'm knackered of eso

I just found your channel. I follow KristoferESO, who also did a similar class review, mostly from a PvP perspective, but...I really like your perspective which is not necessarily the same as the other channel albeit from a PvP centric point of view. Subscribed and looking forward to more content. Thank you.
I started with a Stamden..later made a Magicka necromancer and a sorcerer :D
you and I have a lot in common :D
I would recommend stamcro for new players. Its easy to solo with, especially early game content. The abilities look amazing and it’s fun as hell to play with.
Still magsorc maybe. Anyway I do think it's pretty close. Thanks for the vid and subbed. Returning to ESO this year
I've had to get 5 extra character slits because your builds are just that fun! Thanks!
:D thanks!
Only found you recently and love your high quality content :)
Hey man thabk you so much!
This makes me happy! I'm a new player and my main is a Breton Magicka Necromancer. Even at lvl 20 he slays everything I come across. Just hope I build him correct for endgame. I wanna try PVP and PVE. I'm just a solo player.
Your content is very informed and consistently proves useful to all player levels. My skills keep growing because of it. Keep it up Ghost 👻
Wizzle! Thank you for everything ❤
Great content Lucky! Thank u.
Orc Stam sorc hundings rage/ 3 piece agility jewelry/ 2 piece fire/ 2 piece night mother.
Thank you bro. I haven't played this since day 1.
Hey Lucky just curious how up to date this bud is some of your double s tier spots I’d really be interested in trying out, been playing a mag dk for over a year off and on and ready for a change :)
I have kept all of the SS tier builds very up to date! :)
@@LuckyGhost awesome thank you for the response, btw was in your stream earlier today. Loved the vibes :)
Fantastic video Lucky! I always learn so much watching your videos. Great work! ^_^
Dark Deal and Crit Surge are just too good, and the speed on an Orc is helpful, too
Good video. Makes me wanna try out a magcrow as my next toon
Awesome stuff man, i would definitely like to see some of your builds updated for beginner gear. You recommend some really expensive or very hard to obtain gear for beginners, as opposed to easier sets to achieve, afford or grind.
Check out the written guides in the description of each video where I have starter gear that is either farm able or purchasable or both!
Hey Lucky! Just discovered your channel. What if you don't have that ring though? I'm just returning and Mag Necro looks fun but I don't have any Champion levels. Is it still going to be strong and have good sustain?
if you dont have the ring you can use the Iceheart monster set :)
Thanks for such great video!
Hey Lucky, good to here from you that list but i still love Stamcro. :)
Such a great video!! Are there any solo stam build that use dual wield?
My solo stamina night blade used dual wield :)
Sure the final boss is Vateshran fully heals every time I jump into a portal so the fight takes long but slow and steady helped me win the race and I finally got my skin!
nice work! and congrats!
short sweet and to the point! great VID!
Appreciate it!
@@LuckyGhost thank you! I’ll try that out

@@LuckyGhost Thanks. Or is another class better?

you have great taste!
I really like the builds. Im going to try the Necromancer solo build.
However im confused about this statement under skills:
We do NOT use Shooting Star. It is slotted for the Mages Guild Passives.
Does this mean you have no ultimate to use on the main bar?? Sorry, im pretty new.
it means you're going to use the ultimate on the back bar. shooting star is going to buff all the damage your front bar does, which is good cus thats where you spend most of your time
@@LuckyGhost First Thank you for the reply.
So, this means if I want to use an ultimate I need to swap bars first?
Thank you for your patience.
@@jaynegormley8963 exactly! It sounds tough at first but you'll be doing it in your sleep in no time:)
THANK YOU!! My Magika Necro is doing much better since I switched to your build.
You rock!
Hello there! MagSorc gang is here to correct you on some things:
Magsorcs are the best solo class.
Magsorc in vMealstrom. Should I be using ring of pale order or just crit surge? Can't use ring with 2 sets and monster set.
Use 1 piece monster set and the ring.
God I'm so happy I made a Magcro, was worried about going back into the game. I had a Stam DK and I hated being a wiffle bat meat shield.

But where do I go for weapons, gear and abilities?? I always get stuck there.
My Magcro feels like hot garbage. I need to get some better gear. Do you have a video on getting that ring of the pale order?
Ya just search RUclips for luckyghost pale order (id link but I'm on my phone)
@@LuckyGhost Thanks for the reply! I found the video and am on my way to earning that ring.
You'll get there. Getting your gear and some more champion points will really add up to some nice power increase for you!
Great as always Lucky! I appreciate your wisdom!

Awesome, thank you!
stamina or magica necromancer? long wanted to play a game with necro and this looks good
both are good. do you want to pew pew (mag) or smack smack (stam). there's your answer
The experience of figuring out is so worth it, or in other words - rather die than spoil, in my opinion X D
But now some words to your video - I do not doubt a single word of your explanations, simply because I don´t even have a compareable knowldege of the game as you. Like your content, like your sympathic voice, so your the eso tuber of my choice X D
great comment! and thank you for the kind words!
Do you have this list, without the pale order item, for newbies like me that just started that probably won't have access to this pale order item for a very long time? Cause this is the kind of list I am looking for just doubt I will have this item right after starting lol.
You can get the pale order in a few days or a couple weeks if you go slow. But if you don't want to use it, sorc is easiest without it :)
@@LuckyGhost Ok, I will work towards that then. Thank you for the reply sir. I really appreciate it!
Hi imperial is a good race for a stamplar ? What do you think s ?
yeah its not a bad choice at all! its not meta, but its not bad
@@LuckyGhost thanks for the quick reply mate. Will defo try the magplar💪🏻
Thinking about starting ESO what do you think the best race is to be for a beginner?
@@Kahadi Thanks.
You're my only hope.
the only thing that has really changed from that perspective is that you can now use clench (destro staff skill) for taunt, or continue using what most tanks used before on their backbar, inner fire :) (an undaunted skill) all of the tank builds at eso.justlootit.com were made by an endgame tank if you want to check em out
Do you have any build guide on all this classes?
On every single one:)
Yes every single one:) just search RUclips for luckyghost magicka sorc or luckyghost anything
I’m new to eso I’m thinking about getting necromancer right now I’m using Templar but I just want a heavy hitting class
What would be a good nightblade race. I can't decide between orc and woodelf?
i personally like orc or dark elf right now and for the coming patch
