Unfortunately, so far, i hadn't had Bridear on my screen very much. I have heard of them, but not much from them. Thank you very, very much for introducing me to this absolute banger of a song and a whole new band to look into! 🗾🎸🎤🥁🎼🔥🔥🔥🤘

It was so worth the month long trip to Sweden to record this new album and video. It hits hard like their older material with a fresh new take on that. I think all of them put in 110 percent effort and the results will reward them. They are currently working on a supporting tour and I hope they expand the typical EU/UK they done in the past. They deserve more.

Thinking back to the other Bridear songs you've reacted to (Ignite, Determination, and Daybreak), this would be your first time hearing the harsh vocals from Haru, and a great example at that. Agreed on the solos; you get all the fiery shredding, and the sustains give even more attitude to the whole thing.

Thank you for getting right on this after the suggestion! Some background for those unfamiliar with the band:
Founded in 2011, Bridear are one of the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have undergone a few lineup changes, and have experimented with various styles, but they always come back to their foundation of hard-driving metal-inflected rock. They have the quintessential twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Here is the original lineup:
    Kimi-Vocals
    Haru-Bass, growls
    Misa-Guitars, growls
    Mitsuru-Guitars (pink flying V)
    Kai-Drums
In 2019, Kai left to start a family, Misa left to pursue her own musical vision, Mitsuru soon followed, and they had to bebuild. Amazingly, they did so without any loss in quality, finding Misaki and Ayumi on Guitar, and Natsumi, formerly of Telecide, to take over on drums (after a brief trial with another drummer).
    Second Lineup:
    Kimi-vocals
    Haru-bass, growls/metal vocals
    Misaki-Guitar, audience left
    Ayumi-Guitar, audience right
    Natsumi-Drums
I saw them live in London just after this lineup came together, and they were explosive, playing mostly stuff from the original lineup. They have experimented with a variety of styles, dabbling in progressive and pop, but they still come back to their metal roots.
In “Brave New World Revisited” (ruclips.net/video/_6-OXcyMkYI/видео.html) they’ve got a masterpiece. It’s also a tour-de-force for their brilliant young guitarist Ayumi, who has also taken on a lot of the writing for the band.
In early 2022, Misaki, who suffers from severe stage fright, left the band for health reasons, and they scrambled to find a new co-lead guitarist. They have been joined by Moe, and their first release with her on board showcases some great dual shredding between her and Ayumi.
    From the original lineup:
“Thread of the Light” (live) ruclips.net/video/enbjKqMOTe4/видео.html
    “Light in the Dark” ruclips.net/video/CN3KDIBdosQ/видео.html
    “Ignite” ruclips.net/video/LQIDqudG_DQ/видео.html
    Second Lineup:
    “Starlight” ruclips.net/video/4lq90GqRxiE/видео.html
    “Bloody Bride” ruclips.net/video/CN3KDIBdosQ/видео.html
    “Brave New World Revisited” ruclips.net/video/_6-OXcyMkYI/видео.html
    Third Lineup:
    “Road” ruclips.net/video/vcsUpWW0UZk/видео.html
    “Eyes of Doubt” ruclips.net/video/_oNn9Wg-vNQ/видео.html
(This was written by new member Moe.)
“Still Burning” is a statement: ruclips.net/video/v7UOTBAtJh0/видео.html
They have wrapped the recording sessions for their new album. It is scheduled for release on June 28. I’ve heard the demos for the whole thing and it’s a banger.

Kimi doesn't have a powerful voice, but I love her tone. Those growls from Haru take me back to the "Light In The Dark" days.🤘Let's see,...have checked out any Yajima Mai at all? "Daydream" is a great song to start; kinda Gothy powermetal-ish stuff. Mai's a great vocalist.
