Bridear is a great and often a bit underrated band. Bridear was my first love of the female rock bands back in 2013 - then 2015 came Band-Maid, but that’s another story 😊 So Bridear will always have a special place in my heart. The two leads perform also as Sukiyaki Sisters alone (great metal covers) so I guess they have a good chemistry. I hope the new (great) line-up stays a bit and brings the band more stability and the deserved break through. I saw Bridear several times live and they are great live to and able to burn down a house. With their original line-up back in the days I recommend to give „Light in the dark“ a listen and then the epic „Brave new world revisited“ or „Scream“ live at Shibuya, with Haru‘s most diabolical growls ever.
And with Bridear you might come across a small but noisy bunch of „fans“ too, who stick in the past and can’t get over it, that they are not the same and sound the same like 15 years ago. I did hear all versions of Bridear several times and the „new crew“ is still Bridear and not less proficient than the „old“ crew.

HELL YES!! LFG! best BRIDEAR lineup IMO, their chemistry and charisma is off the charts. so talented and under-rated. I love KIMI's vocals, every layer here is on fire and on display for the world! LFG! I hope they finally break out huge with this album! This song should really bring in people to want more more more! LET's GO!! GANBATTE!!!! ♥♥♥♥🔥🔥🔥🔥♥♥♥♥

Loved this song!!! Watched it when it premiered earlier. I ❤️ LOVE ❤️ Kimi's voice and of course the Sukiyaki sisters killing the guitars 🎸 and Natsumi nailing the drums 🥁. Loved Haru's bass and growls!!! GR8 reaction, review and breakdown!!!

IGNITE (2017) has a guitar hook and a vocal hook that sets it apart.

Thank you for getting right on this. Yes, Natsumi is a monster--she was previously with Telecide, which leaned in the death-metal direction, and on their last tour her solos were a fan favorite. Ayumi (audience right) is emerging as the band's lead composer. You are spot on--how they do going forward will depend in part on how well she and Moe gel. So far they appear to be on the same wavelength. Oh, and the growls are from Haru, the bassist.

Thank you, RC, for checking out Bridear. Super hard working band who deserve time in the spotlight.

Natsumi is a top-shelf drummer. These two guitarists mesh really well together. They have a series of videos where they do guitar covers together. They call themselves The SUKIYAKI SISTERS in those videos. They post their videos on the official Bridear RUclips page. ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=sukiyaki+sisters

Love Bridear partly because the venture up into Scotland when they tour not just doing London. Saw them twice in Glasgow at small venues. They were execellent live. In Oct 2021 the gutarists were Ayumi and Misaki, then in Sept 2022 it was Ayumi and MOE and I thought they were excellent, mind you I am biased as Ayumi is one of my favourite guitarist ever since I saw her at Naon Yaon (208 or 2019) as part of Saki's girls world guitars collection. At both concerts I was blown away by Natsumi's drumming and she had improved even from her great drumming in 2021 to even more awesome 2022. As an other commentator has said he reckons the two guitarists have good chemistry as they do videoes as the Sukiyaki sisters often doing medleys of classic heavy metal songs. Maybe worth checking out

Nice reaction and breakdown afterward. It's good to see more spotlight for Bridear (and particularly with this song since I'm still riding the excitement of it).
In addition to the other songs mentioned, I'd suggest the playthrough of Road with Moe included. The song comes from the last album before she joined, and has more pyrotechnics from Natsumi who also wrote the song. ruclips.net/video/vcsUpWW0UZk/видео.html

Oh forgot to mention Brave New World Revisisted is one of my favourites by them. Probabaly more prog than heavy metal - ruclips.net/video/_6-OXcyMkYI/видео.html and I really like Starlight a studio live as it showcases Ayumi's guitar playing - ruclips.net/video/4lq90GqRxiE/видео.html

🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘I wish more bands would break from the current norm and just skip the damn growling I did not see how it helped this song you would not have noticed if it was missing

So Bridear are mopt really a rinse and repeat or cut and paste band recycling the same old sound, not always entirely successful perhaps in their variations but can't really fault them for ambition.
Sorry for so many songs but this i think has all the line ups in order

Great list. I would also say "Ignite" has to be on there, from the first lineup “Ignite” ruclips.net/video/LQIDqudG_DQ/видео.html; "Brave New World, Revisited" is one of those rare rock songs which I consider a masterpiece, and it's also a showcase for Ayumi.
