Led by De’Aaron Fox’s career-high tying 44 points, the Sacramento Kings defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 130-120. Fox added 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals for the Kings, while Domantas Sabonis put up his league-leading 22nd triple-double of the season as he recorded 16 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists in the victory. LeBron James tallied 31 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists for the Lakers in the losing effort. The Kings improve to 35-26 on the season, while the Lakers fall to 34-30.
LeBron James passed Karl Malone (1,476) for 6th on the NBA's all-time games played list.

That’s one solution, OR they could not reward veteran players with all star bids they don’t really deserve, just because they are sort of grandfathered in. I like me some PG13, but he didn’t deserve to make it over Fox if you ask me. Kawhi for sure ok. Even though by the numbers that wasn’t a clear shot. But the kings were about 6 games back of first place, 27-19 in 5th in the west. That team deserves to have their star 27 points per game guard in the all star game over the second leading scorer on another team who wasn’t even that far ahead in standings. And heck, you could argue Harden had been their second most influential player during the part of the season that turned things around for the clips

He doesn’t attack the rim as much as you’d think.
He gets a lot of blow by open dunks and layups as well as he stops and uses that floater.

@@conEso916 nah it’s evolution. He sees the game differently now. Rather than force the issue he sees the space for a mid range or a floater. He takes the pull up 3s when they present themselves. He’s just gotten smarter. Notice how guys like Kyrie, Steph, Kawhi, Paul George a lot of the better skill players don’t shoot a lot of free throws. It’s because they are taking what the defense gives them and not looking for contact and a whistle but looking to score. Fox is similar to guys like that.
