It definitely feels like more than 400! After all BMW is known for underrating their cars from the factory. I think especially with what it costs now, it’s literally the best bang for buck car out there!
My friend bought a 2024 m340i, white with the peanut butter interior and man its gorgeous, let me drive it too and that 380+ horsepower is no joke. Definitely made me want one 😭 & they’re reliable just like toyota’s which is a HUGEE factor
They really are so reliable it’s insane. I drove my m340i on 2 road trips this year, from NYC to Florida & back then Nashville & back. Put like 15k in just this past year alone & it’s insanely reliable. The speed with bolt ons is so much faster too bro. He’s got to mod it & he’ll fall in love all over again 🔥
As a G42 BMW 230i owner I must add that if you get a 240i, or 340i then try to make sure you get Xdrive if you want to put the power down. The car is already heavy so an extra 110 pounds is a good trade off for the added grip. Even us 30i owners have enough power to break loose, I imagine that problem gets way worse with the added ho and weight. One more very important detail if you don’t want to do the Femto unlock then at least check the VIN and make sure the car was originally equipped with summer sport tire! Very important because cars that came with All Season tires have a top speed of 124mph. Cars that came with original summer sport can hit 155mph.
100% gotta get the xdrive! To me thats the main reason to get this car over like a F80 M3. My car came with the WOSRT run flat tires but since its tuned, it can go up to whatever mph it can hit. Thank you for watching!! 🔥

I love the side profile with the wide rear quarters on the g20 so much. its the main reason i cant settle for an F30 and saving for an m340i. the g80 wide rear quarters are the most amazing but the front is still ugly to me. as far as the g20s go, I like the LCI g20 front but prefer the rear bumper of pre-LCIm as the LCI has that weird huge plastic diffuser. the prelci rear bumper looks more like the g80 rear bumper. and the pre-lci front looks pretty great too, so im just going to go pre-LCI. the new LCI Alpina B3 actually has the LCI front but kept the pre- LCI rear bumper which makes it perfect lol. thats my grail of the g body 3 series. way better than a g80 in my opinion.

I’m shocked because I personally think this m340i is not worth the money or time. The price difference between the m340i and the m3 is about 10k+ depending on the specs on the m3 and you get a way more quality product and handling. Everything on the m340i seems fake or plastic. You could’ve saved yourself the 13k and put it towards a real m3 that comes to similar modifications this car has + better handling. Plus the m3 will appreciate it with time
They definitely are depreciating a lot actually, I’ve gotta say that. The m340i I’d say is a much better deal, but the m3 yes definitely handles better & drives better. I got my m340i because of the interior quality & AWD. Those 2 things really made me like the m340i more than the F80.
