What a grail! They don't get much better than that - period!
And thanks for including the de-stickering; a very special moment in that watch's life immortalized - so really glad you did it like that.
Thanks Austin, I'm very happy that I finally found "the right one".. ..and they lived happily ever after, THE END :-)) Also I'm glad I'm not the only appreciating the de-stickering :)
The thing is, a NOS 16710 is special, now it's not special any more, it's been reduced to a used watch. Can't really see the point of buying a 14 year old Rolex NOS with stickers etc, for a HUUUUUGE price, to then remove the stickers, and then use the watch, reducing the value of the watch towards half the value, when you can get a very lightly used example for that the price. But hey, some people are rich enough to be insane in all sorts of ways. Some people enjoy to light their cigar with 100 dollar bills, some fill their bath with Cristal Champagne. At least we got a video to watch. But if everyone which have a NOS Rolex would remove the stickers and use their watches we would never in the future be able to see a brand new older Rolex as all would be scratched and used. Don't get me wrong, it's great that people use their watches, but it is also nice that the few that still are NOS will stay that way so a varied selection still exist. When I see a NOS 50-60 years old quality watch it's amazing....! So I hope the few people that own the NOS watches will still keep them that way.
Open papers and factory stickers! The ultimate definition of NOS👌🏻
Congratulations, I don’t think I could peel it myself lol
More power to you!
👍’s up - just subscribed on Austin’s recommendation. A beautiful GMT! Last month I bought an unworn 2008 Milgauss white dial full set, unworn, partially stickered with original Goldsmiths receipt - been kept in a safe last 13 years. Receipt for £2,700 after a 10% discount - Happy Days! A beautiful underrated watch?🤔
It’s hard to see, but are there the famous “bevels” on the lugs?
Good question. Only very slightly as this is a Z serial, M serials are even more extreme I think as they have almost no bevels. Earlier serials of the 16710 have more pronounced bevels.
Are you keeping the stickers as a fullset for future reference?
How much its cost with stickers??.
I’m glad you will wear it! That watch needs to be worn-not in a bank vault 😎.
Austin Daniels brought me here. :-) You, sir, are INSANE!!! Props on the pickup. Amazing.
I still have a nos early z series fully sticker too. Open paper. 3185. all black insert.
How much was it?
Thanks for Austin’s heads up I got to watch this amazing video. Subscribed and upvoted.
Austin sent me. What a great video. Congrats!
Great video! You bought three watches before you got what you want? If you don’t want them, you can send one my way, it’s my dream Rolex! 😉
Great watch, I’m glad you wear it!
Thanks to Austin for the link
What a great watch. I would rather have that then a new one. Keep up all updates on CHRONO24 and other sites. They should have to tell you if any parts have been replaced and must be disclosed. I have 3 daydate for years and love them. I'll buy it from you if you want to sell it. I don't care if stickers are taken noff. How much?
Wow. enjoy it as it should be enjoyed.
Thanks Mark, I definitely will
Seems surreal watching a mint old watch being unboxed.
This is like watching someone burn $100 bills. 100 times. Congratulations. You just devalued your watch. Now go and scratch it up.
This is like reading a comment from someone who doesnt have a life. Congratulations. Now go and think about that.
@@watchyouare If I had a normal life would I be watching a fool pull stickers off a watch? You go and think about that!
@@oysterman962 touché, says a lot about myself as well I guess 🤪
@@watchyouare Each to their own. At least you can wear it now. I've got a stickered watch I bought brand new from the AD and I have not worn it. Just sits in the display box. Bit of a liability. So enjoy yours.
Stunning watch!
Shame you didn’t get its real box. It would have came with a completely different one and it’s model number would be on the side of the outer box if it was all original to the watch.
The box is the correct box for that watch. Rolex changed the boxes to this style around 2005. What it probably would have though is the white sleeve on the outside which would indeed have the model number on a sticker on the sleeve. So this is not "full set" if the sleeve was not there.
Great vid! I would wear it too.
Maaaan! What nerves. Congrats though🎉
Thanks man, I‘m super happy with it :)
Awesome, man!
Amazing🤩.
Congrats
Noooooooooo
Hmm, it looks too big for your wrist. The correct place to wear it is on the thinnest part of the wrist and not near the hand where your wrist bends. If you move the watch there you will see it it's way too big for your wrist. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. It makes you look like you're wearing your daddy's watch.
That's the problem with the new fad that is the Rolex craze. People don't first figure out if the watch fits. I mean, you wouldn't go buy a suit just based on how it looks, would you? You first need to find out what size fits you. If they only carry a size 40 and you wear a size 36, there's no amount of prestige that would make it not look ridiculous on you.
Nice fake
