I had to laugh out loud when you said you’d be freaking out if you needed a 1.5 link… funny story for you-- I have a 26240OR with black dial and I unfortunately sort of need a 1.5 link but only whenever my wrist is swollen.. for the most part I can do without it.. so what I do is remove a link, and add the 1.5 in order to get that very slightly larger bracelet size.. I’ve added and removed it a handful of times now and at this point I’ve decided to just say screw it and I’ll let the watch be alittle snug whenever my wrist is swollen. Because when my wrist is not swollen (majority of the time) it really does fit just about perfect.. lol but anyway back on topic, the 1.5 link is SO DAMN AWFUL LOOKING that I just cannot accept having that thing on my watch.. and you DO NOT want to know how much I paid for that damn link trust me!

This video has so much misinformation. The new watch is same as the first watch in terms of proportions but it’s still bigger & wider than the first watch you showed.

If your wrist is over 7" then Sub 41 is the way to go. 14060M looks tiny in comparison.

I agree with you that the John Mayer isn’t that special! I love the Paul Newman but I like the newer version with the gold hands. It’s more elegant for sure! The red stands out more, but I like the “Paul player special” look. I also like the new pikachu

Question for you: what is the best looking all gold Daytona in your opinion (the rose/white/or yellow)? Let me know…I’m in the market and I’m obsessed with Daytonas. I have a GMT and diver and want a heavy Daytona piece. The problem is I like all of them 😂😅 My top two are the pikachu and Paul Newman. BTW, why do you think of the two-tone diamond dial? I’m so lost on which one to get!!

Having owned three Nautilus models in the past in the 1990s at different times from the steel 5711, Bi-metal to complete 18kt gold, although the design and build quality are very good, that is as far as it goes. The 335SC caliber movement was not up to par with the Royal Oak or Overseas. In the 2000s, PP had upgraded the movements with a new caliber. A sports watch, whether it be luxury or casual, should not be delicate or fickle in any way. If it is, then it defeats the purpose. The Cubitus may finish up as obscure as PP’s Neptune, there is a gamble or risk but, in this case, the marketing will be a lot better. For those who do not know the Neptune, look it up as it is Cartier-esq visually. It never caught on. PP can do whatever they like, so can watch collectors. We do not have to buy PP as there are alternatives that are better value for money with excellent quality and craftsmanship. Plenty of choices and availability. To hate PP for what they have brought out is NOT justified. Hate being different to dislike. The Cubitus going rectangle is diving into the same area as the Santos and VC’s 2215. However, it is on the large size and entering Bvlgari Octo territory. PP should consider a smaller size 39 to 41 mm range instead of 45mm and slightly curved. That would make it more appealing. I shall leave it there!

Here has been the reality with PP, Rolex, AP: if it looks decent, you can't buy it. If it doesn't, you have the option. In short, I like that no one likes the Cubitus.

Sorry, not interested. In my book,. the only PP's I like are the classic, white dial with Romans, yellow gold Calarava, and the Elipse. Simple, plain dress watches are my passion.

After 25 years, it has same case, bracelet and even movement as the Nautilus except that it is more square and bigger. Not doubt that it will be sold out because of the very limited quality. It is designed for those rich people to burn their money.

People will tell you you’ll get used to it… just like the Nautilus was unloved in 76. But the reason we don’t like the Cubitus it’s because it a lazy effort, and an oversized square Nautilus. Ouch …

The 14060 is perfect for people who has a smaller wrist like yours in term of comfort and esthetic. No one can argue with someone who has all three options in hand to have an opinion on which is his/her favorite period. I am going to try see if my 16710 SEL oyster bracelet will fit the 14060M which will make wearing the sub even more comfortably with a much smaller clasp.

I would absolutely have to put the boxes directly stored above each watch when you removed the watches - not mixed like that 😀

100% 14060m. That is THE best “modern” day sub. The cases on the new subs make me sick. If a new sub came out with the EXACT dimensions of the 14060m but with an upgraded bracelet and a ceramic bezel option I think people would invade countries them. (Wrote this and as I’m writing this you just stated basically the same opinion 👌)
