    German engineering has always been the pioneer, but the Italians have created a masterpiece of engineering in the F50.

    I love this video. Explanation was on point, precise and concise. Having 3 disassembled F50 lined up and used for explanation is quite unique

    Quality RUclips video. Not just a stupid guy with money showing off. This had a guy with money amd knowledge. Beautiful

    If you take into account that only 349 F50s where produced, and that three of them are in for service at DK at the same time, that’s quite something.

    ' This just made my day ' simple but wow on the fun facts . thank you and thank you for these videos . We all know you don't have have to go out of your way to make these videos but
    this is what makes you and DK so special to alot of us . You got the extra so we learn and fill out brains with amazing stuff even if 99 percent of us won't ever own one . Its the little things in life that matters . Champion league .

    The engine block had to be made out of steel to cope with the loads, instead of the usual aluminium, so the weight saving by having no rear frame may be not enough to counteract the extra vibrations. Have in mind that few people who actually drive these cars are in racing driver physical condition.
    Nice to see this new material covering my favorite car ever.

    Amazing post that only now I have come across it and one that deserves views in the high six figures so precious it is. 14k odd views don't make it any justice.

    I've been watching your videos for several years now and it is quite clear that you have an unparalleled knowledge and a true passion for cars. Like many others, I am enjoying the "user's guide" videos since the pandemic and the interview with Frank Stephenson was a real treat! It's so refreshing to watch someone who actually knows what they're talking about as opposed to the other nonsense on social media these days!

    This is why Jeremy Clarkson described this car as "Feeling like the engine is bolted directly to your spine!" 😳 It's a very similar concept to an F1 car.

    The rear suspension does not "hang off the side of the gearbox" - it's fixed to an oil tank in between the engine and the gearbox, same as F1.

    It can’t be safe to leave the engine hanging like that? Why not prop it? The rotational moment produced on the bolts whilst it’s hanging must be huge

    F50 was the first Ferrari to integrate f1 performance tech on a road car i think...or is it 355 f1?

  • @chesspiece81
    @chesspiece81 2 года назад

    I know for the longest time the F50 wasn't appreciated and I never understood why. Just like the big V12 Lamborghini that have only now really started to sell for what they really should be worth. Although I do think the V12 Lamborghini models haven't found their true value. Besides the really special models I think the market over corrected itself and prices will correct and prices come back down but never as low as they once were.
